Is this legit on his part, or is there a need for some accountability? Plus, NBA player Malik Beasley, fresh off of his best season as a pro, is being investigated for gambling and influencing prop bets on NBA games. This can’t be a good look for the sports fans who still believe in the idea of purity in sports, can it? We also talk about Gillie Da Kid and Joey Bada$$ having an interesting discussion about cultural gatekeepers, Kyrie Irving donating $50,000 to a center that honors Tamir Rice, and country music singer Gavin Adcock calling Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” inauthentic country music.

It looks like Michelle Obama is crafting quite the career for herself as a media personality. This time, she commented on parenting and the importance of raising kids properly. Interestingly, she also said that she is glad she didn’t have a boy because he would’ve been another Barack Obama. Are you feeling this? What do you think of this? Elsewhere, Azealia Banks has unmuted again, this time to give her take on the use of the N-word and her belief that white people can use the word as long as Black people continue to call one another the word and don’t expand their vocabulary. Does this make sense? We also discuss B Simone talking about what it’s like to have to budget finances and shop at H&M and not Bloomingdales, Nick Cannon not being able to name all of 12 of his kids, and Jim Jones saying that he is better and more influential than Nas.

In our June 10, 2025 stream, we discuss daytime talk show host and actress Sherri Shepherd talking about being ready for backlash after she criticized Megan Thee Stallion's Vanity Fair outfit which, was, needless to say, revealing. 5/27/25: Ryan Clark vs. RG3; Latto’s Body Count; A.J. Brown Says NFL Players Objectify Women
Did you miss us?! Well, we’re back, and hopefully with some topics that will get the community chiming in. First, we get into the Ryan Clark and Robert Griffin III saga. After suggesting that Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark in a basketball context, Ryan Clark countered by suggesting that because he has a white wife, RGIII is not qualified to speak in this manner. RGIII responded by saying Clark crossed the line, and Clark later apologized. We discuss this back-and-forth, and whether either side has any merit. On a lighter note, Latto is clapping back at critics who take issue with her rapping about her supposed low body count. Many don’t believe her, but she doesn’t seem to care. Do you believe her? 5/13/25: Amber Rose African Queen; Pro Gamer Ignored School; Charles Barkley Calls Frats Losers
Amber Rose is standing ten toes down on her assertion that she is an African queen, saying that all human beings are African because humans originated in Africa. Folks online are calling her out, but she says she doesn’t care. Does she have a point? Was telling him to ignore school smart, or a matter of luck? Plus, Charles Barkley went a little viral during a recent episode of “Inside the NBA” for calling men in fraternities a bunch of losers. Is he right? We also talk about the Dallas Mavericks acquiring the No. 1 pick in this year’s NBA Draft, Skip Bayless calling Tom Brady a liar for denying any involvement in affecting Shedder Sander’s draft stock, and the internet starting to get a little frustrated with the way some women dress at the gym, accusing them of looking for attention.

More marriage talk for us to digest, and we get into it. Elsewhere, A$AP Rocky has admitted to wearing Rihanna’s clothing. Furthermore, he doesn’t see the issue with it and doesn’t necessarily agree with the notion of masculine and feminine norms, particularly when it comes to forms of dress. We offer up our takes on what he had to say. Plus, Bow Wow opened up to Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay and spoke on his experience with being caught fake flexing when he posted that he was traveling via private jet when he was actually flying commercial. 4/29/25: Shedeur Sanders Draft; Women Testing the Waters with Women; Diddy’s Swinger Defense
Shedeur Sanders being drafted in the 5th round of the NFL Draft was crazy and had all sorts of things going on, including talks of collusion and a prank being played on him by the son of an NFL GM who pretended to be a part of the New Orleans Saints and draft him. We couldn’t pass up speaking on it ourselves. There were also some interesting comments made by Ari Lennox, who gave fans a glimpse into her personal life by expounding on experimenting with dating women. She says she gave it a try, but ultimately couldn’t do it and went back to doing what she knows: dating men. At the risk of getting a bit controversial, we give our thoughts on what she said and testing the gender waters of dating. Plus, Diddy’s defense is gearing up for a mighty test when his trial begins May 12, and part of that defense involves the claim that Diddy isn’t a creep, but he is a swinger. Tracee Ellis Ross hopped onto Michelle Obama’s podcast and they got a little into her personal life, including her revelation that she prefers to date younger men because men her age have beliefs on relationships that amount to toxic masculinity. She says younger men aren’t as stoked in the old toxic ways. Do you agree with her? On the music front, Akon is on the verge of dripping out the start of what will be his entire catalog re-recorded as country music complete with star country collaborations. Is this a good look for Akon, and what can it signify for the perception of black music? Plus, there is some drama brewing with the Jay-Z-backed Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at Long Island University (LIU) Brooklyn, with many people saying they were sold a fake bag of goods when the school promised them a “debt-free education” when in fact they still incurred debt because the school merely offered them a tuition-free education. Many feel swindled. Should the school be held accountability for falsely misleading people into thinking they’d go through school completely debt-free? What are the ramifications of this? We also discuss Shannon Sharpe revealing explicit text messages to vindicate himself after being accused of sexual assault, DeMar Derozan getting into a scuffle at a restaurant with a man who tried to record him without permission, and A.J. Brown responding on social media to his car being stolen.

4/14/25: LeBron’s Lack of Professionalism; Ne-Yo Clarifies Poly Setup; Kash Doll’s $20 Tissue
Isiah Thomas unmuted during a segment of NBA TV when viewing LeBron James warming up before a game shirtless, saying that professionalism in the NBA has gone down and he wouldn’t have a problem with LeBron being fined for displaying said lack of professionalism. Does he have a point, and does this extend beyond the NBA to everyday life? Also, Ne-Yo is commenting further on the parameters of his polyamorous relationship, saying that while he doesn’t force anyone into anything, he is the only man in his setup. His girlfriends cannot see other men. Is this reasonable? Plus, Kash Doll is going viral for all of the wrong reasons, recording a video of herself pretending to wipe her nose with a $20 bill at an NBA game. While clearly a flex attempt, she is being roasted for all of the reasons you’d suspect. Is she getting what she deserves? We also talk about college football’s evolving landscape amid the fallout of QB Nico Nico Iamaleava leaving Tennessee after asking for more money and Marcus Freeman’s response, the similarities between Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and the current US-China trade war, and the hoopla over the all-female Blue Origins space mission.
