Criminal Justice Activist Eric Brandt
Chances are if you are in Denver for long enough you have seen Eric Brandt walking around Capitol Hill with a giant middle finger reading "fuck bad cops". Eric's recent work informing jurors about jury nullification has landed him and others in jail which garnered the support of Occupy Denver and other local activists who in solidarity started an encampment outside the Lindsey-Flanigan Courthouse that has garnered national media attention. This tactic has put Eric at odds with Denver DA Mitch Morrissey, District 6 Commander Tony Lopez and Police Chief Robert White.Eric wants to change the way we keep our communities safe and he wants his authorities to be held accountable for their actions but unfortunately Eric found out that only the squeaky wheels will get the grease. He decided to rust the all wheels and burn down the grease factory.
