After completing a degree at Boston College, Stack headed to Los Angeles, where he joined the improv troupe the Groundlings in 1979. After initial television appearances on the "Mary Tyler Moore" spinoff "Lou Grant," he began to win small parts on other 1980s primetime sitcom staples, and in such big-screen comedies as the Rodney Dangerfield college farce, "Back to School." In the early '90s Stack played patriarch Martin Lewis on the fledgling Fox network's comedy "Parker Lewis Can't Lose." His three-year stint on the show led to further sitcom work, and soon he went back to comedy writing, eventually scripting, producing, and acting on the "Baywatch"-style beach-show parody "Son of the Beach." But the series lasted only one season, and Stack went back to the drawing board while still doing occasional voice-over work and appearing on TV and in films, notably the 2000 Tom Hanks adventure movie "Cast Away." By 2005, Stack had hooked up with Greg Garcia for the successful trailer-park-set redemption comedy, "My Name Is Earl." Stack helped write and produce the show, while also portraying a pill-popping local celebrity and drunk named, not coincidentally, Tim Stack. After four successful seasons of "Earl," Stack and Garcia launched the family comedy "Raising Hope" in 2010.

Coop's Comedy Corner 06 | Wendy Liebman
Wendy grew up in New York, Long Island, Roslyn Heights, 110 Crescent Lane. My mother said I was always funny -- my lemonade stand had a two-drink minimum. I studied psychology in college (Wellesley '83) and was planning on becoming a therapist, but in 1985 I took a class called "How To Be A Stand-up Comedian" at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, and that changed everything. (My teacher was Ron Lynch.) Since then I have performed on Carson, Letterman, Leno, Fallon, Kimmel, Ferguson, and Hollywood Squares, at colleges and events, and in comedy clubs throughout North America and England. In 1997 I received the honor of Best Female Stand-up Comedian by the American Comedy Awards. I've starred in specials for HBO, Showtime, and Comedy Central, and was a Semi-Finalist on NBC's America's Got Talent (I was Howard Stern's wildcard pick). I live in Los Angeles, with my husband Jeffrey Sherman, and two rescued Jindo dogs, Jemma and Jackson, who are as trainable as a carrot. I have two older phenomenal stepsons who still remind me that I once served them a salad with a paper towel in it. My hour special, "Wendy Liebman: Taller On TV" is available on Amazon.

For four years Lou worked along side of and made lasting friendships with a small group of comedians who are today some of the very best in the business. Larry David, Colin Quinn, Susie Essman, Joy Behar, Jeff Garlin, and Ray Romano are just a few of Lou’s old pals who appear in the film. After moving to Los Angeles in 1989 to pursue acting, Lou, in a mysterious act of career self-sabotage, stopped doing stand up comedy forever. But why? Today Lou is an Emmy winning writer for television. He makes a quiet, modest living but a deeply repressed passion for doing stand up is beginning to emerge. “Where Have You Gone Lou DiMaggio” follows Lou as he seeks advice from celebrity friends about returning to comedy while discovering along the way the real reason why he stopped doing stand up in the first place. After all this time, can Lou once again become relevant in the world of comedy?
