Grime has its fair share of enduring figures, but Slimzee's tenure as a cornerstone of the scene is more or less unparalleled. As a founding member of the Pay As U Go Cartel- the pioneering crew headed up by Wiley, God's Gift and Flowdan- and a key player in Rinse FM's formative years he was instrumental in Grime's transition from a niche genre to a nationwide phenomenon.
