Crash Freeway and the Stick Shifts
by Wooly Music
Once expected to be the "next big thing," fate would cause Crash Freeway and the Stick Shifts to be sifted into the detritus of forgotten 70's rock bands (see the details at https://crashfreeway.wordpress.com/). However, they have never really gone away and are still creating music today and posting it here to Soundcloud for your listening pleasure. As underground as it gets, Crash pulls on his 70's rock roots, folk underpinnings, and a quirky sense of humor to create ear-worm-worthy music.

Into The Night
The night is wild, but it is also renewing and calm.

I'm Your Car
A silly rock tune where I finally tell the world how I feel about cars in song.

I Know
I Know I know about all those things You think you hide so well I know about the way you smile In the dark - behind your veil Of what you show to the world And what you hide away I know about the book of numbers and names After all these years I know about the way your eyes Can flow alligator…

Dark Before Moonrise
Dark Before Moonrise Chorus Dark before moonrise, Shadows across the sky Laughter silenced, Eyes that cannot cry Verse Lost my way in forest deep Walked for hours without nary an inkling of where I was going She stepped from a shadow Beckoned me to follow Down a path I could swear was not there...

The Breeze
The Breeze Behind rock walls in a field of crows they made their stand for Ireland and when the rifles made their sound black wings sent a message clear Add now to famine and Coffin ships More blood on the hands of England Claire Merry’s boys in the mud did die And their spirit filled the breeze…

Room Of Your Own
A Room of Your Own Waking up to the sound of crying again You’re just a reach away from me But why should I pretend? That there’s anything left to make this house feel like a home That there’s anything left to make us Feel any less alone We took all of the chances Did all the dangerous dances And...
