This week, Jeb Burton sits down with Brandon Brown, GM at South Boston Speedway, and recaps some of the Cup race at Richmond which they both attended, dissecting Carson Hocevar's miss-shift, and looking forward to wrapping up these off-weeks that the O'Reilly Series has had and getting down to Daytona for some speedway racing. They also look forward to the Krush 250 Late Model Race this fall as tickets are already being sold and drivers are starting to sign up!

This week we have guest, Tom Dano, to sit down with Jeb and talk all things racing and outdoors! Tom plays a crucial role in keeping Jeb at the track and you would be surprised at how many moving pieces need to be juggled in order to make it to the next race weekend!

This week, Jeb Burton gives the listeners an update on where he is at in the O'Reilly season and some insight into the plans they have for upcoming races to ohopefully improve performance. Ward Burton does a brief time of Q &A where he shares what his 2 regrets are from his career. Ward is also debating whether or not he will go mountain lion hunting!

This week, Jeb recaps his NASCAR O'Reilly Series race at Indy as he ended his streak of bad luck and had a solid day finishing in the top 15. Ward Burton shares stories from the farm and also announces that The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation will be extending its services to Wyoming soon as it has its first willing land owner to put 1,700 acres into a conservation easement!

This week, Jeb Burton, Brandon Brown, and Ward Burton are on the podcast again. Jeb is fresh off of race weekend feeling frustrated after his DNF at Atlanta during the pace laps before the green flag ever dropped! Brandon Brown has his hands full with track management at South Boston Speedway as some tempers flared on the track last weekend and punishments are having to be handed out. Ward Burton is deep into summer planting on the farm, getting habitats replentished and ready for the fall!

South Boston Speedway just hosted the first stop in the Triple Crown for late model stock racing, and track manager Brandon Brown sits down with Jeb and Ward Burton to recap the race. Despite the weather they were able to have a great race which for the most part was a clean race with Kaden Honeycutt taking the checkered. However, it was not short of drama as Landon Pembelton got into Peyton Sellers which took out a few drivers. including Lee Pulliam which resulted in Peyton giving a colorful opinion in a post-race interview. Ward Burton has also officially announce the Krush 250 will take place at South Boston Speedway again this year! Also in this episode, Jeb Burton gets the group briefly sidetracked on UFO's!

Many stories are shared on what it was like growing up with Ward and Jeff Burton, his own very successful kart-racing experiences, rallying up fans to come support his brothers at the local tracks and all the way to the Cup Series, and his decision to go all in on keeping the family construction business alive and making it thrive.

After a very hot race weekend, Brandon Brown gives some insight into managing South Boston Speedway, and how being short staffed lead to him wearing many hats throughout the day including Race Director for part of it! Brandon and Ward also talk in depth about the heat inside of the race cars and what different drivers are doing or should be doing to stay hydrated and in shape for these races. Especially like the Thunder Road 200 lap race coming up at South Boston Speedway.

Jeb Burton sits down on a call with Ryan McGee, a former television producer and current writer for ESPN, and a long term familiar face in the NASCAR scene. The two talk about the how NASCAR has changed over the years and what it takes to become a successful driver in today's racing and why it is so much more difficult. They also discuss the benefits of the charter system and then get a little side tracked with college football!

This week, Jeb Burton shares updates about his season and looking forward to Pocono after the off-week, but is also looking forward to his off-weekend because he is getting married! Ward Burton also shares some updates about the archeological digs happening on some of their properties and a few of their exciting finds. Jeb proposes that with cars being allowed to advertise other products like alcohol and nicotine pouches, should they be allowed to have tobacco product sponsors again?

This week, Jeb sits down with Brandon Brown and recaps the long weekend full of rain at Charlotte, and the solid performance they were having until the timing of their last pit stop and the early stoppage of the race made them finish much further back than they could have with the car they had that day. Jeb also shares some of his memories of Kyle Busch, as Jeb and Brandon remember the legacy that Kyle made throughout his career. Jeb ends the episode by bringing up a big dilemma about what to do with some property he purchased. There seems to be two main options, solar panels, or housing developments. What do you think about it?

Our 50th Episode!! This week, Brandon Brown and Ward Burton recap the weekend from Jeb's continued misfortune at Dover, to the stands being full of boos for Peyton Seller's last lap bump and run for the win. They also share laughs as they tell a few stories and then ultimately end the podcast with thanking our veterans, remembering those who lost their lives serving our country, as well as what all South Boston Speedway will be doing to remember fallen soldiers at their next race.

Our first Flashback Episode! This was our 10th episode and quickly became a fan favorite. Ward's son, Jeb, and Jeff's son, Harrison, also share their own paths to a racing career and how their dads have played key roles in the inspiration on their careers.

Ward shared a little bit of insight into how Jeb Burton's day went and the disappointing end to his race as soon as he appeared to be getting a great run at the front of the pack according to Brandon Brown after reviewing the last few laps of Jeb's in-car footage. Brandon also tells Ward Burton more about who Cleetus McFarland is and gets his opinion on Cleetus's place in NASCAR.

This episode of Crossroads With The Burtons Podcast is packed with great stories and new info. Ward Burton and Jeb Burton sit down with Mark Martin and his son, Mathew Martin. Ward and Mark share old racing stories and revisit some of the contact they had on the track over the years. They also tell of different phone calls and ride offers they received over the years and Mark Martin reveals that he had turned down Rick Hendrick twice before he accepted the offer to drive for him. Mark also shares about his time on the committee which decided the new playoff format, which sparked a great debate within the group about the current position of the sport as a whole. Matthew and Mark Martin also announce a book about Mark's life and career will be released this summer and will be available for presale in just a few weeks!

In this great episode of the Crossroads with the Burtons Podcast, Ward Burton sits down with the general manager of South Boston Speedway, Brandon Brown, to go over Ward's history racing at that iconic local short track and his journey up the ranks to the Cup Series where he became the Daytona 500 winner that we all know now. In this week's episode, Brandon Brown fills in for Ward Burton and sits with Jeb Burton as they recap Martinsville and discuss Lee Pulliam and his miss shift on the restart that caused the pile up that ultimately ended Jeb's great running day along with several other's. They also take a deep dive into Jeb's career all the way back to late models. Jeb talks about the highs, lows, and everything in between that he has had to conquer in order to still be racing today and as he hopes to keep racing another 10+ years. Jeb and his team look forward to Rockingham, even though they had a rough test there before the season started, they seem to have found some speed in the simulator and hoping to bring it to life on the track.

Brandon Brown, general manager of South Boston Speedway is back on the podcast as now part-time host when Jeb Burton is away. Brandon gives a recap of a phenomenal race day at South Boston featuring Elliott Sadler putting on a show racing modifieds and Lee Pulliam coming back and winning the late model race! Ward Burton also gives some great insight this week into wildlife conservation, specifically out national parks, and how we can do our part!

Jeb Burton and his team didn't have the finish that they had hoped for at Vegas, but his sites are now set on Darlington and hoping to keep the momentum they had built from Phoenix. Ward also gives updates on how things are going with The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation. And chickens! Jeb came home from Vegas to see that Ward has gotten chickens and building them a coop!

Jeb Burton has his sites set on Daytona as the NASCAR season kicks off this weekend. He is looking to join the other Burton drivers with a Daytona win of his own. In this episode, Ward Burton also reflects on his own Daytona 500 win in 2002, and also the year before where he had dominated the race before was caught up in "the big one" and was not able to finish the race. That 2001 Daytona 500 was also the race where we lost an icon of the sport, Dale Earnhardt.

Jeb and Ward Burton just got back from Shot Show in Vegas where they both got to meet up with a lot of partners and help celebrate 500 years of Beretta. Jeb is also looking forward to the 2026 racing season. This race season brings some exciting changes with an hour of practice, and no more Charlotte Roval which Jeb and Ward are both happy about, but also can't deny Jeb's solid performance there for him and his team last year. Jeb Burton just tagged an old whitetail buck, a doe to donate to Hunters for the Hungry, and is looking to go on at least one more hunt before the season is over so that Ward can tag a doe. With the year coming to an end, the excitement can begin as Jeb looks forward to kicking off the racing season at Daytona, returning partners on his car, and a new alliance with RCR and Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport. Ward Burton also shares what it was like the first time he ever got to see Daytona, and how different it is today but in some ways still very similar.

Ward Burton tells of a similar instance where he inadvertently caused a wreck at Talladega, hitting Dale Earnhardt Sr., and receiving death threats because of it. Jeb and Ward also dive into a lot of the work they are doing on their farm and the excitement around all of the hunting that takes place this time of year. Jeb Burton has a strong 6th place finish at the Roval this past weekend, and looks forward to a hard push the rest of the season to try and come out 13th overall for the season. Work on the farm isn't done yet or Ward as him and Jeb work on the final preparations for this year's whitetail hunting season as well as some bear hunting later in the year.

Ward took a trip overseas and talks about the different experiences that he was able to have. Jeb has just returned from an Elk hunt where him and his buddy, Paul, were able to both tag an Elk with their bows. Jeb also is very optimistic of these last 6 races of the year and what next year has in store for him and his team.

While they are concerned that only one may make it into the playoffs, both Jeb and Harrison recognize that while they may technically drive for separate teams, when it comes to the track they are very much like teammates and only want to see the other succeed.

Protecting your land not only benefits you and your family, but the wildlife that thrive off of that land. Jeb and Ward share their opinions on the growing development of rural areas, flattening hundreds of acres for solar farms and even how Ward was able to use his Wildlife Foundation to protect a military base from having to shut down around 30% of flight operations due to a potential wind farm nearby.

Jeb Burton has quite the history or running up front at Talladega and being able to control that race. With his eyes set on a much needed 3rd victory at Talladega, the caution flag was thrown in the last lap, ending the race with very unclear camera angles and leading to a highly controversial decision that put Jeb in second place.

Jeb Burton looks forward to this weekend at Rockingham, last time he took the green flag at this track it was in the Truck series at the front of the pack after taking the pole. Ward Burton also reminisces on his Busch series win at Rockingham. Jeb has also had success at Talladega with his 2021 and 2023 wins there, and looks forward to next weekend as him and his team have high hopes to add a third. Turkey season is also in full swing as Jeb started the week off with bagging a turkey of his own and has plans to take some more friends and family along to share his love of turkey hunting.

A last lap crash during the NASCAR Xfinity race at Martinsville this past weekend has left multiple drivers with bad taste in their mouth. Especially upset, is Jeb Burton who ran great all day, working his way from the very back to the top 10, only to lose several positions coming out of the last turn of the race as a result of the wreck. Jeb Burton is also introducing a new throwback paint scheme of his dad, Ward Burton's iconic Hardees car paint scheme at Darlington this weekend.

Last weekend's NASCAR Xfinity race came with its ups and downs for Jeb from a wreck in lap 1 to penalties in pit lane. Now, its time to set focus on running tight to the wall in Miami. Jeb and Ward both are looking forward to spring turkey season, getting to sit in the woods and have front row seats to wild turkeys gobbling.
