Promise Land: Promise to Give You What You Need | 2 Corinthians 4:7-11, 12:8-10

Have you ever had one of those moments where the only honest words you have left are:“I’m tired…I’m done…I just can’t do this anymore”?Maybe it’s the pressure at work.A relationship that feels like it’s falling apart.A season of stress, pain, or uncertainty that just won’t let up.In our message, we’re continuing our Promise Land series with a promise we don’t always expect: God doesn’t promise to take everything away… He promises to give you what you need. We’ll look at how even the Apostle Paul reached a point of desperation—and how God met him there, not with escape, but with something better: grace that is truly enough. So If you’ve ever wondered: “God, do I really have what I need to get through this?” this message is for you.Join us as we discover how God meets us in our weakest moments—and why that might be exactly where His strength shows up the most. The sermon entitled "I Promise I'll Be There" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Promise Land" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Champion's Circle High School - 9am\11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10amCCLI Streaming License 20118313Copyright License 2552897

Promise Land: I Promise I'll Be There | Psalm 139:7-12

We’re living in a time where loneliness is more common than ever.Even surrounded by people, many still feel unseen, unknown, and alone. And when life gets hard, our natural response is often to pull back…to isolate…to try and carry it all ourselves. But God speaks directly into that reality. In our message we’re looking at one of His most powerful promises: I will be with you.Psalm 139 reminds us that there is nowhere we can go where God is not—not in the highs or the lows, not in the light or the dark.He sees you.He knows you.And He is with you—right now. This promise doesn’t remove every struggle…but it brings something even better: His presence in the middle of it.If you’ve been feeling the weight of life—or even just the quiet sense of being alone—this message is for you. You are not alone. The sermon entitled "I Promise I'll Be There" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Promise Land" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Champions Circle High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Promise Land: I Promise You'll Be There | John 14:1-6

All of us live our lives in a place shaped by what we believe. And if we’re honest, too often we believe things that simply aren’t true—lies that rob us of the deep peace our Father wants us to have. That’s why God steps in.He is a frequent promise-maker and a constant promise-keeper. And when He speaks, His promises do something powerful:👉 They destroy the lies we believe.👉 They remind us what is certain and true.👉 They grow our faith in him.God’s promises don’t just give us hope for the future— they give us peace we can experience right now. We’re starting a brand new series called Promise Land—and we’d love for you to be part of it.Come discover how trusting what God says can reshape how you live today. The sermon entitled "I Promise You'll Be There" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Promise Land" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Champions Circle High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Face to Face with Death [Good Friday] | Matthew 27:45-54

Face to Face with Sinners (Us) | Matthew 26:17–30

Be honest—there are people you would never invite to sit with you at the dinner table. People who’ve hurt you. Lied about you. Betrayed you. People you don’t trust. People you avoid. Now here’s the uncomfortable truth: That’s exactly who Jesus chose to eat with.We begin Holy Week with Palm Sunday and step into the final meal before the cross—and the guest list is shocking. Around that table? A betrayer. A denier. A group of men who would abandon Him within hours. And Jesus knows it. He doesn’t cancel dinner. He doesn’t call them out and walk away. He serves them and that’s the tension we’ll wrestle with:- Jesus doesn’t avoid sinners—He sits with them. - Jesus doesn’t ignore sin—He confronts it with grace and truth.- Jesus doesn’t wait for you to be worthy—He meets you where you are.And this is what the Lord’s Supper and Holy Week show us - the great need that we have as sinners and the great love Jesus has for us! But here’s the miracle at the center of it all: “For you, for the forgiveness of sins.” Not just back then. Not just for them. For you.The table is set—and it’s not for the people who have it all together, it’s for sinners. The sermon entitled "Face to Face with Sinners (Us)" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Face to Face" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Face to Face with the Self-Reliant | Matthew 16:21-28

“Never, Lord.” It may be one of the most honest—and revealing—responses in all of Scripture. In Matthew 16, Jesus lays out God’s plan clearly: He must suffer, die, and rise again. It’s the only way to save us. But when Peter hears it, he pushes back. “No.” And if we’re honest… we get it.We want Jesus—just not the cost. We want to say yes to God—without saying no to ourselves. Then Jesus says something that turns everything upside down: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”In our message, we’ll wrestle with a hard but life-giving truth: The path to real life isn’t found in saying "yes" to yourself…it’s found in trusting the One who said "yes" to the cross for you.If you’ve ever struggled with surrender, control, or trusting God’s plan when it’s hard—this message is for you.The sermon entitled "Face to Face with the Self-Reliant" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Face to Face" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Face to Face with the Needy | Matthew 15:21-28

There are face-to-face encounters in Jesus’ ministry that honestly feel a little uncomfortable.Like the desperate mother who comes to Jesus begging Him to heal her demon-tormented daughter. She’s broken. She’s desperate. She’s out of options. But what happens next is surprising.Jesus… says nothing. Then when He finally speaks, what He says sounds even harsher. Why would Jesus respond that way? Was He refusing to help… or was something deeper happening? In this powerful encounter, we discover that the real focus of the story isn’t just the miracle — it’s the remarkable faith of someone who came to Jesus in complete need. Her persistence, humility, and faith reveal something profound about how we approach God when we reach moments where we simply can’t fix things ourselves.Because the truth is: Life is full of tests. And sometimes the hardest ones are the moments when we desperately need God to act.In our message, we’ll wrestle with one of the most surprising conversations Jesus ever had and discover what it teaches us about faith when we’re in need. You’ll see how persistence, humility, and bold faith can uncover the “yes” that sometimes hides behind God’s apparent “no.”If you’ve ever prayed and felt like heaven was quiet… this message is for you as we come Face to Face: With the Needy and discover the mercy of Jesus for all who call on Him.The sermon entitled "Face to Face with the Afraid" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Face to Face" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Face to Face with the Afraid | Matthew 14:22-33

What do you do when you are afraid? Most of us instinctively respond in one of three ways: we fight, we run, or we freeze. Fear has a way of isolating us, overwhelming us, and making even strong faith feel small. The disciples knew that feeling well.In Matthew 14, they were battling a storm in the middle of the night when something even more terrifying appeared—someone walking toward them on the water. In that moment of fear and confusion, Jesus spoke words that still echo to fearful hearts today:“Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”Notice what Jesus didn’t do first. He didn’t immediately stop the storm. He didn’t explain everything that was happening.Instead, He gave them something better—His presence. We’ll look at what happens when the afraid come face to face with Jesus. We’ll discover how fear can shift into faith, and why the presence of Christ changes everything—even when the storm is still raging. If fear has been creeping into your heart lately, this message is for you.The sermon entitled "Face to Face with the Afraid" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Face to Face" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Face to Face with the Guilty | Matthew 9:1-8

If reels had existed in Jesus’ day, his miracles would have gone viral for sure. Like a paralyzed man from birth getting up off his mat and walking for the first time! But what if the part that truly mattered wasn’t the moment that made everyone say “Wow!”?This week in Face to Face, we’ll look at an unforgettable encounter in Gospel of Matthew 9:1–8 where a man is brought face to face with Jesus. Everyone wanted and hoped for one thing - healing. Jesus gave him something greater. Before He healed the man’s body, Jesus spoke to his deepest need: “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”What is your greatest need right now? If one problem could be solved, what would bring you the most relief? We often think first about the physical, relational, or emotional burdens we carry—and those matter. But in this powerful face-to-face moment, Jesus reveals that our greatest problem isn’t what we usually think… and our greatest need has already been met.Guilt can weigh heavy. Shame can feel final. But Jesus meets the guilty not with rejection— He meets them with grace that changes everything.Discover how, in the presence of Jesus, condemnation turns into restoration—and why forgiveness is the miracle we can never afford to miss.Come ready to lean in. Come ready to hear Him say, “Take heart.”The sermon entitled "Face to Face with the Guilty" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Face to Face" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Face to Face with the Hurting | Matthew 8:1-13

We all come to moments when we don’t have the power, strength, or resources to erase our past sins, cure our present pains, or overcome our future death. But Jesus can. When people met Jesus in the Gospels, everything changed. And when people meet Him today, everything still changes. When pain feels like it defines you, Jesus steps close enough to heal not just the wound, but the heart behind it. He didn’t avoid brokenness—He met it head-on with compassion and power. If you’re carrying something heavy…If you’re walking through something you can’t fix…If you’ve wondered where to go when the hurt is too much…Come and discover what happens when the hurting come face to face with hope. The sermon entitled "Face to Face with the Hurting was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Face to Face" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Happy Holy Home: "Life After Infidelity" | Matthew 5:27-28

We conclude this series with a message many churches avoid—but one Scripture speaks to clearly and compassionately: Infidelity, Adultery & Life After an Affair. Most people don’t think this topic applies to them. No one gets married planning to betray their vows or be betrayed. And yet, statistics—and pastoral experience—tell us this reality touches far more homes than we’d like to admit. This message is not about shaming, finger-pointing, or reopening wounds. It is about:- What God actually says about adultery and guarding our hearts.- Why even strong, happy marriages must stay alert.- How temptation often begins long before a line is crossed.- And most importantly—whether there is real hope, healing, and restoration after an affair. For some, this sermon will be preventative. For others, it may feel personal and painful. For all of us, it will point us to a God who offers wisdom, grace, and healing. If you’ve ever thought, “This could never happen to me,” or “I don’t know how a marriage survives something like this,” this message is for you. And please know: if this topic touches a tender place in your story, you are seen, you are loved, and you are not alone.Let Jesus speak honestly into a hard subject—and remind us that even here, hope and help are found in Him.The sermon entitled "Life After Infidelity" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Happy Holy Home: God's Crash Course on Love, Marriage, and Life After an Affair" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

    Happy Holy Home: "Test-Drive" | 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

Almost every couple today has either lived together before marriage, knows someone who has, or is considering it. The reasons are understandable—testing compatibility, saving money, convenience, or fear of divorce. But one question still lingers: What does God think? In our message, we’ll take an honest and compassionate look at a topic that touches nearly every family and every church:- Is living together before marriage wrong biblically?- And even if culture says it’s normal, is it wise spiritually? This message is not about shaming or judging. It’s about understanding God’s heart, His design, and His grace for every person and every relationship.Whether you are single, dating, engaged, married, or walking with someone who is navigating these questions, this is a conversation worth having. The sermon entitled "Test-Drive" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Happy Holy Home: God's Crash Course on Love, Marriage, and Life After an Affair" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Happy Holy Home: "The Foundation" | Ephesians 5:21-33

A happy home changes everything. You can have good grades, a solid job, and financial stability—but when home is heavy, life feels heavy. On the other hand, a strong, loving home becomes a refuge when everything else seems to fall apart. That’s why we’re beginning a new message series called "Happy Holy Home".In this series, we’ll talk honestly about real homes and real struggles:- What does God say about making the home a place of peace and joy?- How does God’s design shape our relationships—whether marriage is on your radar or not?- What about living together before marriage?- What hope is there when infidelity or broken trust shatters a family? Can healing really happen when a marriage feels like it’s barely holding on?This series is for everyone—single, dating, engaged, married, remarried, or uncertain. Whether marriage feels far off or painfully close to falling apart, God cares deeply about your home and the people in it.Because when marriages grow stronger, families grow healthier. And when homes grow healthier, everyone wins.Discover the guidance, grace, and hope God offers for every season of life. The sermon entitled "The Foundation" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Happy Holy Home: God's Crash Course o Love, Marriage, and Life After an Affair" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Financial Reset: "Stop Owning, Start Managing" | 1 Timothy 6:6-10

Most of us don’t feel rich. We feel stretched, worried, or like we’re always trying to catch up. But what if the problem isn’t how much we have—it’s how we see what we already have?A "financial reset" starts in the heart, not the budget. Scripture reminds us that God owns it all, money makes a terrible master, and real wealth isn’t measured by what’s in the bank—but by what can never be taken away. You might be richer than you realize. This message isn’t about guilt, pressure, or giving more. It’s about freedom, contentment, and discovering the true riches we already have in Christ—and how that changes the way we live, give, and trust God.Discover why you may already be the richest person you know. The sermon entitled "Financial Reset: Stop Owing, Start Managing" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Reset: Starting Fresh for a Blessed Year" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Emotional Reset: "Stop Dwelling, Start Believing" | Matthew 6:25-34

Many of us live caught between yesterday’s pain and tomorrow’s worries. We try to hold everything together, only to feel more tired, anxious, and overwhelmed. In our message this week, we’ll talk about what it looks like to reset ourselves emotionally—not by trying harder, but by learning to trust the God who already knows our needs and cares for us deeply.Jesus reminds us that worry can’t add to our lives, but faith can change how we live them. When our hearts are focused on what truly matters, peace begins to take root.If you’re feeling worn down, uncertain, or just carrying more than you should, you’re not alone—and you’re invited.Let's explore how God meets us right where we are and works in us from the inside out.The sermon entitled "Emotional Reset: Stop Dwelling, Start Believing" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Reset: Starting Fresh for a Blessed Year" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Physical Reset: "Stop Neglecting, Start Nurturing" | Titus 2:11-14

We say our bodies are temples—but most days we treat them like afterthoughts. We push harder, sleep less, eat faster, scroll longer, and call it normal. Then we wonder why we’re exhausted, irritable, and spiritually dry.In our message, we’ll confront a hard truth our culture ignores: it’s nearly impossible to live a fruitful life when you’re running on empty.Jesus understood the power of rest. God built limits into creation on purpose. And the gospel doesn’t just save our souls for eternity—it reshapes how we live in our bodies right now. This message isn’t about adding more to your life; it’s about stopping neglect and starting to nurture what God redeemed. If you’re tired of surviving and ready to reset how you rest, fuel, and care for the body God entrusted to you—this week is for you.The sermon entitled "Physical Reset: Stop Neglecting, Start Nurturing" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Reset: Starting Fresh for a Blessed Year" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

"Resilient Joy" | Philippians 4:10-20 | Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times

As we conclude our Resilient series through the book of Philippians, we arrive at a timely and hope-filled finale: Resilient Joy.Throughout this series, we’ve seen how God builds resilience through prayer, perspective, attitude, gratitude, confidence, maturity, and peace—not by our strength, but by His grace. In our message, we’ll discover how all of it comes together in a joy that doesn’t depend on circumstances and a contentment that holds steady in every season.Just as the angels announced “good news of great joy” at Christmas, Paul points us to the same source of joy: Jesus Christ. The secret isn’t having more—it’s knowing Christ is enough.Resilient contentment appreciates the gift, but rests in the Giver, trusting that God will supply every need according to His riches in Christ Jesus.Let's celebrate the lasting joy our Savior brings—at Christmas and beyond. The sermon entitled "Resilient Joy" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

"Resilient Peace" | Philippians 4:1-9 | Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times

Ever feel like your peace has gone missing—like someone broke in and carried it off?Worry sneaks in.Fear slips through the cracks.Disagreements divide us.Thoughts overwhelm.Circumstances shake. And before we know it—our peace is gone.If you’re tired, anxious, or feeling “stolen from,” please don’t miss this message because God doesn’t just offer peace—He offers peace that guards, peace that holds, peace that is resilient. The sermon entitled "Resilient Peace" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

"Resilient Maturity" | Philippians 3:15-21 | Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times

We all like to think of ourselves as grown-ups—capable, independent, able to handle life on our own. But when it comes to our faith, are we really as mature as we think? In our message, we’re diving into Resilient Maturity, and we’ll confront one of the biggest spiritual lies we tend to believe: “I can do it by myself.” The truth? The first sign of spiritual maturity is admitting we still have growing to do and we need help.In Philippians 3, Paul shows us the surprising movement of spiritual growth from: dependence to independence to interdependence—first on Jesus, and then on the people God places around us.Spiritual maturity isn’t about arriving—it’s about learning to rely on Christ and walk with others in faith.Explore what it means to grow up in Christ and develop a faith that stands firm in every season. The sermon entitled "Resilient Maturity" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

"Resilient Confidence" | Philippians 3:1-14 | Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times

We’re stepping into one of the most important truths in our Resilient series—where real confidence comes from.Let’s be honest: we love the "Little Engine That Could" mindset. We love self-help quotes. We put confidence in our abilities, our experience, our determination. But what happens when “I think I can” or “I am enough” isn’t enough? When life pushes harder than your strength can pull? When the confidence you’ve built on your own ability starts to crack and shake? In Philippians 3, Paul points us to a better way—resilient confidence.A confidence not rooted in ourselves, but in Christ.A confidence that doesn’t collapse.A confidence that stands firm when everything else falls apart.Explore a confidence that can carry you through every circumstance—and a joy no season can shake. The sermon entitled "Resilient Confidence" was preached by Senior Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

"Resilient Gratitude" | Philippians 2:14-30 | Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times

Thanksgiving is only a few days away — and for a lot of us, the thought of being “thankful” feels more like pressure than joy.Maybe this year comes with an empty seat, a tight budget, strained relationships, or just the weight of life being…life. If that’s you, you’re not alone—and you’re exactly who this week’s message is for.In our message, we’re looking at Philippians 2 and discovering resilient gratitude—the kind that isn’t fragile, fake, or dependent on how good your week is going. It’s deeper than turkey-day thankfulness and stronger than whatever you’re facing right now.So before you dig in to the turkey on Thursday, grab the tools that will help you survive — and even thrive — this Thanksgiving and beyond. Paul shows us a kind of gratitude that isn’t based on cheesy potatoes, football, or perfect circumstances…but on Jesus, Himself. The sermon entitled "Resilient Gratitude" was preached by Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

"Resilient Attitude" | Philippians 2:1-13 | Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times

Are you more of a thermometer or a thermostat?A thermometer simply tells the temperature. If you live in Arizona, it might read 84 degrees in November — it reacts to what’s happening around it.But a thermostat? That’s different. A thermostat is connected to the HVAC unit. It doesn’t just reflect the temperature — it helps set it.Do you tend to act more like a thermometer than you'd like to admit? When things don’t go our way, we can complain, overthink, and slip into the “that’s just how it is” and victim mindset. In our message this week, we’ll learn from the Apostle Paul how to have a Resilient Attitude — one that doesn’t simply react to circumstances but is shaped by connection to Jesus. When we're connected to His love, compassion, forgiveness, and strength, we don’t just identify the problems — we start responding with His peace, His truth, and His purpose.Discover how being connected to Jesus gives you a stronger, more resilient attitude. The sermon entitled "Resilient Attitude" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

"Resilient Perspective" | Philippians 1:12-30 | Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times

When life gets hard how do you see it? Are you "a glass half-empty" or "half-full" kind of person? It’s all about perspective…how you see things!Life has a way of testing us — stretching our patience, shaking our joy, and challenging our strength. But what if joy isn’t about what’s happening around us… but about who’s living within us?In our message this week, we’ll discover the power of perspective — how the Apostle Paul, writing from prison, could see past his chains and still overflow with joy. His secret? Seeing every circumstance through the lens of the Gospel. When the world sees loss, faith sees gain. When the world sees difficulties, faith sees opportunity. When the world sees death, faith sees life.Learn how to develop a resilient perspective — one that thrives even in hardship because it’s anchored in Christ. Be encouraged and discover how to see life and every challenge through the life-changing lens of the Good News. The sermon entitled "Resilient Perspective" was preached by Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

    "Supernatural Victory" | Revelation 12:1-17

We all have expectations. In life. In relationships. Even in faith. In our message, were diving into one of the most dramatic scenes in Scripture—Revelation 12—where a furious dragon wages war, a woman flees, angels fight, and a child brings victory. It sounds like something out of a fantasy movie, but it's more real than anything we see with our eyes.Too often, Christians are shocked by trials, pain, and spiritual opposition. But Gods Word doesn’t tell us to be surprised—it tells us exactly what to expect…Expect the unexpected. Expect the battle. Expect the victory.Confront the reality of spiritual warfare and discover the unshakable truth: Jesus has already won—so the victory is already yours. The sermon entitled "Supernatural Victory" was preached by Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Supernatural: Unseen Realities | Eternal Truths" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

    "Supernatural Battles" | Ephesians 6:10-18; 1:18-23 & Romans 8:38-39

Have you ever had one of those weeks where it feels like everything is working against you? You try to stay positive, but the pressure keeps building. The truth is — you’re not just fighting stress, people, or circumstances. You’re in a spiritual battle. The Bible reminds us that our struggle “is not against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:12), but against unseen forces that try to pull us away from God’s peace and purpose. In our message, we’ll learn how to stand strong when life feels like a fight. You will be equipped to fight with God's armor — truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and His Word — so we don’t have to face these battles alone or unprepared. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is working in you right now! Be encouraged, equipped, and reminded that even in the unseen fights, God is already fighting for you.The sermon entitled "Supernatural Battles" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Supernatural: Unseen Realities | Eternal Truths" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amPhoenix Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

    "Supernatural Enemies" | Mark 1:21-28 & Ephesians 6:12 & Matthew 16:15-18

You probably don’t think much about enemies beyond bad drivers or rival sports teams. But what if your biggest threat isn’t what — or who — you can see?In our message, we’re diving into a spiritual reality that most people ignore, dismiss, or obsess over: supernatural enemies. The Bible says we’re in a battle — not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil. So who exactly are these enemies? What are they after? And more importantly — what does Jesus have to say about them?Hear how a face-off between Jesus and a demon in Mark 1 reveals truth, power, and hope for us today. You'll walk away with clarity, courage, and confidence — not because of who you are, but because of whose you are.The unseen supernatural enemy is real, but so is Jesus!

    "I Love You" | 1 John 4:7-21 & 1 Peter 4:8

We come to the powerful conclusion of our "From Ruin to Restoration" message series. We’ve all experienced brokenness—in our friendships, marriages, families, and even our faith. And as we've walked through this series, we’ve seen the power of words like “I Was Wrong,” “I Am Sorry,” and “I Forgive You.”But there’s one more phrase... one final step... and it just might be the superglue that holds it all together. In our message, we’ll discover how three little words—when spoken and lived—can bond broken relationships stronger than before. Just like the Japanese art of kintsugi uses gold to repair shattered pottery, God uses love to restore what’s been broken.Don't miss the finale of a series that’s been about more than just healing the past—it’s been about building a stronger future. "I Forgive You" | Matthew 18:21-35

As we look at Jesus’ parable in Matthew 18:21–35; Peter asks, “How many times should I forgive?”—and Jesus’ answer reminds us that forgiveness is a necessary step on our journey from Ruin to Restoration. But let’s be honest—forgiveness is not easy. It’s costly. It hurts. It feels unfair. Yet forgiveness is also God’s gift to us. Jesus took the full cost of our sin at the cross and gave us complete forgiveness. Because of that, we are both called and empowered to forgive others. You’ll hear not only the truth about God’s forgiveness but also find tools and motivation to help you learn to forgive, even when it feels impossible.See how Jesus’ story of the unforgiving servant leads us to a life of grace, gratitude and restoration. The sermon entitled "I Forgive You" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "From Ruin to Restoration" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amMidtown Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

    "I Am Sorry" | Psalm 130 & 2 Corinthians 7:10-11

“I am sorry.” Three little words, yet probably some of the most overused—and misused—in the English language.Think of playing the board game "Sorry!" — when one sibling knocks another back to start, they grin and say, “Sorry!” But what they really mean is, “I’m not sorry at all—and, given the change, I’ll do it again.”Or think of teaching a three-year-old to say “sorry” after hitting a sibling—as if the phrase were a magic spell that wipes away consequences.Psalm 130, one of the great penitential psalms, shows us what “I am sorry” truly means—not as an empty phrase, but as a heartfelt cry that leads to forgiveness, freedom, and hope in Jesus.Discover together how godly sorrow doesn’t trap us in shame, but lifts us into the joy of Christ’s restoration. The sermon entitled "I Am Sorry" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "From Ruin to Restoration" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amMidtown Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

    "I Was Wrong" (From Ruin to Restoration) | 2 Samuel 12:1-12 & 1 John 1:8-9

Ever had a relationship fall apart—and you didn’t know how to fix it? Maybe you’ve said the wrong thing… done the wrong thing… or maybe you just can’t admit that you were wrong at all. This week, we’re starting a new series called “Ruin to Restoration” — 12 words that can change your relationships, and maybe even your life. And we’re starting with three of the hardest words to say: “I was wrong.”From the rubble of broken relationships to the hope of healing, we’ll walk through the story of King David — a man who looked like he had it all…until everything came crashing down. But there’s good news…God is in the business of fixing broken things — even you, even me, even that relationship you think is too far gone.Restoration is possible, but it starts with one crucial step… and this Sunday, we’re taking it. Don’t miss Week 1 of our new sermon series. Anything for the Unchurched | 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

Firsts are powerful. They're unforgettable. Whether it was your first job, first child, or your first time walking through the doors of Crosswalk, something about those “firsts” sticks with you.In our message, we’ll be looking at 1 Corinthians 9:19-23, where the Apostle Paul gives us a radical vision for what it means to reach people exactly where they are… even if it means giving up our own comfort, preferences, or plans. The mission? Big.The need? Urgent. The Gospel? Everything!Whether you’ve been part of Crosswalk since day one or this is your first Sunday, we can’t wait to open God’s Word with you to see why our "Know, Live, Share" mission has to be willing to do anything for the unchurched. The sermon entitled "Anything for the Unchurched" was preached by Pastor Tim Glende at CrossWalk Church.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amMidtown Campus: Camelback High School - 10am

Genesis 11:1-9 | "The Tower of Babel"

On August 8, 2025 the New England Patriots unveiled a 12 foot bronze statue of Tom Brady. At the ceremony, Patriot's CEO Robert Kraft said,"There's a saying, 'People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But they will never forget how you made them feel.' For two decades, Tom Brady made the Patriots feel invincible,"Do events like this ever make you wonder, "How are people going to remember me?" or "Will anyone remember me after I am gone?"This week at CrossWalk Church, we’re wrapping up part three of our study in Genesis with the account of the Tower of Babel. In Genesis 11, the people wrestle with the same desire to be remembered. They said,"Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves;" Genesis 11:4, NIVA wise man named Solomon captured the same sentiment in Ecclesiastes 3:11. He wrote, "He (God) has also set eternity in the human heart." We all want to be remembered—and, in some way, to keep our memory alive.Let's explore these questions together— the answers might surprise you. Genesis 9:18-29 | "The Sons of Noah"

Every one of us comes from a family—and no two families are exactly alike. Each home has its own set of “house rules”—spoken or unspoken—that reflect what that family values:- We eat dinner together.- You made the mess, you clean it.- No screens until chores are done.- Use kind words.- Always tell the truth.- Be home before dark. What are (or were) some of your family’s rules? And what do they say about what matters most to you? This week at CrossWalk Church, as we continue walking through the book of Genesis, we’ll look at the story of Noah and his sons—and discover two core values that shape God's family: truth and grace. We come from many different backgrounds, AND we’ve been brought together into one spiritual family. So what does God want this family to look like?Come explore that question with us and experience the joy of being part of a church family that truly loves and cares about you.The sermon entitled "The Sons of Noah" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church, in part of the “Genesis: the birth of God's people" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amMidtown Campus: Camelback High School - 10amOnline: cwlk.online.church - 1pm

Genesis 9:8-17 | "God Renews His Covenant"

In our message this week, we see that God makes a covenant with Noah, all humanity, and every living creature—promising never again to destroy the earth by flood. The rainbow becomes His sign of mercy and faithfulness, a reminder that even after judgment, God offers hope. His promises are everlasting.Jesus is the fulfillment of that mercy—for everyone. In Him, God’s faithfulness takes on flesh and brings us not just life—but new life. 🌈✝️The sermon entitled "God Renews His Covenant" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church, in part of the “Genesis: the birth of God's people" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amMidtown Campus: Camelback High School - 10amOnline: cwlk.online.church - 1pm

Where do you even begin to process all of that?Noah’s first response was to build an altar and give thanks to God. Genesis 8:6-19 | "A New Beginning"

This past Sunday marked a special moment at CrossWalk Church as Staff Minister Phil Bischoff is officially installed as the new leader of our Midtown campus.Although Phil has been a faithful part of the CrossWalk ministry for many years, this is a new beginning—a new chapter for him, his family, and the Midtown community. We see a similar turning point in Genesis 9, where Noah steps onto dry land after 120 years of warning and 375 days aboard the ark. It was a moment of faith, hope, and a fresh start. As we continue our message series in Genesis, we will explore the fresh start God gives Noah and the world.New beginnings rarely happen in a bubble. They come with a backstory—often marked by pain, hardship, and waiting. But in God’s hands, even those broken chapters become the foundation for renewal.God is always writing the next chapter—come be part of the story. Let's come together and worship and reflect on the next steps of faith God may be placing in front of us.The sermon entitled "A New Beginning" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church, in part of the “Genesis: the birth of God's people" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amMidtown Campus: Camelback High School - 10amOnline: cwlk.online.church - 1pm

    Genesis 7:17-24 & 8:1-5 | "God Remembers Noah"

God is holy. He is completely good. He won't supress the truth. He can't sit by and let sin and death reign. God means what he says about the dangers of unchecked wickedness. God is patient. He waited 120 years before sending the flood. He is patient with me in my struggles. God is a rescuer. God provided Noah with the ark. He provides all of us with Christ, our ultimate rescuer.God keeps his promises. His promise of crushing Satan still stood strong during and after The Flood. He delivers on every single promise he makes to me. God brings hope. He is the God of restoration and and renewal. The God of redemption and reconciliation. There's nothing that can separate me from his love in Christ Jesus! God remembered Noah. God remembers us.Live every day this week with the confidence having a God like this brings to you. Genesis 7:1-16 | "The Flood"

Some people think the account of The Flood in the Bible is a myth. Others think it's a description of a mean and angry God.As we continue our message series in Genesis, and we will go through the account of The Flood. We will see how The Flood is part of God's story of rescue, renewal, and redemption from sin. Did you know that that New Testament has several passages about The Flood?Jesus uses Noah and the flood as a lesson about the end times (Matthew 24).The book of Hebrews talks about Noah placing his faith in God when warned about things he had not seen yet. 1 and 2 Peter tell us several things about The Flood...- God was patient in dealing with the people - Noah preached to the people about sin and grace- The flood symbolizes baptism - The flood demonstrates how corrupt sin makes people and the world...and how we need saving from the punishment of our sin- God always saves those who look to him for savingAs you can see, God has a lot to tell us through the account of The Flood. Genesis 6:9-22 | "God's Covenant with Noah"

What do you do with a world that’s broken beyond repair? As we continue our message series in Genesis, the scene we encounter isn’t pretty. God is so fed up with humanity that he informs Noah: “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth." - Genesis 6:13So… what does God do when He sees a world that far goneGod’s response is surprising. It’s powerful. Genesis 6:1-8 | "Man's Wickedness — God's Grace"

What breaks your heart?Maybe it’s seeing animals mistreated or neglected. Maybe it’s the images of police and protestors clashing in the streets of LA. Or perhaps it’s something more personal—broken relationships, injustice, or unrest in your own community. As we continue our Genesis message series, we come face-to-face with what breaks God’s heart.Genesis 6:5 paints a sobering picture: “Every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.”People weren’t just sinning—they were celebrating evil and attacking good. The world was no longer aligned with God or his will. It was broken. So what does God do when He sees a world so out of sync with His design? Genesis 4:1-26 | "Cain and Abel"

"Our Father in heaven"... That's the opening line of The Lord's Prayer--the prayer Jesus taught us to pray. What comes to your mind as you say that opening line? Do you think about your own dad--both the good and bad? Do you think about how God views us, his children? Do you breeze past that line or have you never really thought about what is means that God is not only our God, but also our Father? This week at CrossWalk Church, we continue our message series in Genesis. We will be going through the account of Cain and Abel. And, surprisingly, it fits well with celebrating Father's Day, (which is the Sunday this message was recorded). You'll see in this account God being a just and loving Father. It's hard to read about the very first murder so early on in the history of humanity. It's easy to vilify Cain. He struggled with jealousy, anger, envy, pride and self-righteousness. Sounds like a familiar list to me and my heart.Cain's struggle shows that sin always looks harmless and then strikes like a ferocious beast. But, the entire time, God acted as Cain's Heavenly Father. He still extended hope and the desire for forgiveness. He does the same for you and me. Let's celebrate what it means that God is the Father we truly need. Genesis 3:16-24 | "The Consequences of Sin"

Do you know the difference between forgiveness and consequences? Here’s a little story to illustrate:A pastor is driving down the road — and speeding. He gets pulled over by a police officer, who lets him know he was going 12 mph over the speed limit. The pastor replies, “I’m so sorry. I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t realize how fast I was going. Would you please forgive me?”The officer returns to his car, then comes back smiling and says, “Good news, Pastor — I forgive you… and God does too! And here’s your ticket.”Forgiveness and consequences — side by side. This week at CrossWalk Church, we return to our message series in Genesis. As we rejoin the Lord with Adam and Eve, we’re reminded that God promised a Savior. He forgave them. But alongside that forgiveness came real consequences.Still, God didn’t abandon them — He blessed them in their pain.Let's celebrate the God who forgives us completely and walks with us through the consequences of a broken world. He is still blessing, even in our pain. The sermon entitled "The Consequences of Sin" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church, in part of the “Genesis: the birth of God's people" message series.CrossWalk Church - Sunday Worship:Laveen Campus: Cesar Chavez High School - 9am/11amMidtown Campus: Camelback High School - 10amOnline: cwlk.online.church - 1pm
