The Prayerful, Careful Church
Jesus said, "My house shall be called the house of prayer." (Matthew 21:13). Prayer is a privilege and a huge responsibility for Christians. If you are a Christian, and you are not praying, you are backing up. James 5:16 says, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." This is energized, targeting prayer that approaches a holy God. Where is the fervency and effectiveness this hour? It is not the responsibility of just a few to carry the church in prayer. It is the responsibility of all.

The Concerned Church
The concerned church has the character and holiness of Jesus. The concerned church views everything through the eyes of eternity. God's living church must align with the Word of God. Preservation of the church comes from the Word of God. When the church stops caring, they compromise, and when they compromise, false doctrine comes in. God's living church will be deeply concerned about what is going on. The church cannot afford to be malnourished, fractured, and infected with division. The spiritual health of the flock is under attack. Someone has to pray down the attacks of the enemy. God's people will have a deep, active, agonizing love and care for the true living church. Scripture Reference: Galatians 6:9-10; Galatians 4:19

The Urgency of Hell's Escape
Luke 16: 19-31. Hell is a place of woe, a place of physical suffering, an eternal separation from the presence of God. Hell was created by God for the devil and his angels. Our God is a holy God, and God's holiness cannot endure sin or go unpunished. Romans 3:23 tells us that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that is why we must have the precious blood of Jesus Christ covering our lives. He is our redemption! But if you choose the path of unrighteousness, you are not covered by the blood of Jesus. We are all on our way to eternity either in heaven or hell. Which path will you choose? There is nothing more precious on this earth than your soul. You must have an urgency to escape hell! Additional Scripture References: Mark 9: 43-48 Matthew 10:28

The Arrival Of The Holy Ghost
Acts 2:1-4 "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come..." The Holy Ghost was imperative for yesterday, is imperative today, and will be imperative for tomorrow. He is our comfort, our conviction, our guidance, and our sanctifier. The moving and indwelling of the Holy Ghost has not ceased - He is still moving in the church today! Thank the Lord for the Holy Ghost!

Missed Opportunities: Part 2
Revelation 3:8 says "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door..." If you are saved, you are part of the living church, and you have an important role in these last days. However, people in the church are easily discouraged. If we are not careful, setbacks can carry us away from opportunities. We must be sensitive to the Holy Ghost. We can't do our own thing, nor can we be passive. Reach out in faith for this opportunity that God has given you. This is the season of opportunity! Additional Scripture: Matthew 25:1-13; Ecclesiastes 3:1; Proverbs 20:24

The Need for Elevation Part 2
The Psalmist David cried unto the Lord, "When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." We all can become overwhelmed in various seasons of our lives as we often face the pressures of life which can lead to spiritual exhaustion. But in our weakness, He is made strong. If our hearts are overwhelmed, we've got to find God! We find strength through our Lord and Savior by praying and through the Word of God. Hold on to your prayer life for everything you've got because if you've lost your prayer life, you've lost it all! Keep your spiritual chins up and hold on a little while longer. There is spiritual rest in our Lord Jesus Christ!

The Need For Elevation
We must take refuge in God who is calling us to a higher place in Him. If we are not careful, the cares of this life will choke us out of the will of God. Prayer is the key to elevating in the Lord. The enemy's mission is to drive us away from prayer. The enemy wants us to settle down at a lower elevation - to sit down and be quiet. But as we pray as the Word of God commands us and our hearts are right with the Lord, we will elevate in Him. We have no excuse to not pray as we should. Prayer is the key to elevating in the Lord!

Let The Fire Fall
The true believer must have the fire from God in their life. Like Elijah, stand obedient to God, waiting on The Lord to show that He is Our God and we are His people.
