"Cut From Clouds..." Beats I made covered in Rhymes and Hooks I wrote to 'em.

I wasn't certain what kind of vocals I wanted to do over this beat when I made it… The singing part was kind of a freestyle (like a lot of my singing these days), I had some rhymes that I layed in, but I wasn't feelin' it. I wanted to do something I've never done for my final Soundcloud upload, then it hit me… I'm Weird. Embrace My Weird!! This song is about me before I was who I am here now today. I came up with these lyrics last year while I was walking home one night tapping out a little drum deal on my lil' guitar. I never found a solid guitar riff to play with it so the words just kinda fell into the nether regions of my memory banks, but just about a week ago, I made this beat and all of a sudden I started hearing how perfectly the song fit with it, so naturally I laid it in!! I was so stoked that the whole thing worked so perfectly that I immediately put my first mix up on soundcloud.com and listening back I decided I could probably mix it a little better… I hope it sounds as good in y'alls Headphones and Boom Boxes as it does in mine!!
