Dad Doesn't Know About This Podcast

In the final episode of season 1, Jon and Liz dive into food-related memories. Fast food favorites, competing with each other for limited junk food resources, awful restaurants and the kids who frequent them… this conversation runs the gamut of food nostalgia. Curly versus regular fries, Snack Well’s and the Schwan man, old school Wendy’s and trips to Luby’s, plus Jon’s idea for a wedding Jello mold… the last go-round of the season is chock full of ridiculousness. And if you think we can make it through an episode without poking fun at Seattle, you thought WRONG.

Liz and Jon are physically both in Seattle for this once-in-a-season episode where they’re both physically in the same place! They poke fun at Seattle’s abysmal weather and passive-aggressive behavior before getting into the things they actually like about the place (and there are several, believe it or not). Tangents throughout on TV, baseball, obnoxious tourists and terrible vacation clothing choices. People ruin everything, and Seattle is no exception.

Jon and Liz set out to exclusively tell stories about their dad in this nostalgia-filled episode, only to unintentionally end up talking about… The Window.
