"Good Foundation" for a "Successful Deal"

ABC News Correspondent Jordana Miller talks about how U.S. Vice President JD Vance said his lengthy talks with senior Iranian officials in Switzerland created a "good foundation for a successful final deal" as they seek a permanent end to the war that the U.S. and Israel began in late February. Vance and U.S. officials claimed progress on multiple fronts, including the establishment of "mechanisms" to ensure the Strait of Hormuz stays open and to address fighting between Israel and Iranian-backed Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon, where a ceasefire appeared to be holding. Earlier today, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said the Israel Defense Forces will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon as "long as necessary" to protect residents in the north and the citizens of Lebanon.

    Reflecting Pool Arrests Made

ABC News Investigative Reporter Peter Charalambous talks about how President Trump said Saturday afternoon that the U.S. Park Police had arrested multiple people he alleged were vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which has been plagued with algae and peeling paint in the days since the Trump administration completed a costly renovation. The Washington Post identified one man who was detained Saturday as 67-year-old David Hearn, a three-time U.S. Olympian canoeist, who denied any vandalism. According to the Post, Hearn was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of destruction of government property. Does picking at already-peeling paint count as destruction of government property? Is there a warranty on the work already done on the pool?

  15. 11

Tourism Impact of Giannis on MKE

MMAC Senior Advisor Tim Sheehy talks about what Giannis has meant to the city of Milwaukee over the past 13 years and what trading Giannis could mean for the Deer District and tourism in Brew City. Housing prices have increased dramatically over the past decade, causing a real supply and demand crunch for those entering the housing market. With some calling this decade “the death of the starter home”. What’s causing this crisis, and how does Milwaukee compare? On a per capita basis, Milwaukee has always ranked high in the number of Fortune 500 companies headquartered here, how do we rank, and how has that mix changed over the years? If you have been to a Brewer game recently, you may have noticed a new trend in the stands, guys in the upper deck with their shirts off loudly cheering. Is the “tarps off” trend unique to just American Family Field?

After getting groovy for 30 minutes, they pivot to today's Brewers news that Quinn Priester will now officially miss the entire season -- so, will they finally pull the trigger to trade for Tarik Skubal? They hear from ESPN's Jeff Passan, who agrees with Jim that the Brewers should finally take the big risk for Skubal, and they ask today's Siding Unlimited poll question: Is the point of watching sports to see your team win a title? They also talk to the listeners who'd argue that different rules apply in the MLB, where the sport is never on a truly even playing field.
