    Carlton in Crisis: Voss Resigns, Fans Demand Board Overhaul

    From Premiership Player to President: Andy Gowers on Healing the Hawks

    Peter Johnston discusses five-Set Thrillers, Crowd Chaos and Women’s Breakthroughs at the Australian Open

    The Australian Open tennis tournament was largely dominated by the seeded players, with most of the top ten comfortably winning their early matches to advance to the quarter-finals and beyond. As a result, there were a few upsets. However, the tournament took an exciting turn on Men's semi-final day, featuring two remarkable matches that lasted a combined total of 10 hours. The finals for both the men's and women's events were also of a high standard.     Long Hair, Heavy Metal & Test Matches: A Conversation with Bharat Sundaresan

    Bharat Sundaresan has established a fine media career, especially since moving to Australia from India after covering the Indian Cricket team for a decade.   He moved to Australia and Adelaide in 2018 to join his wife in Adelaide, who was finishing off her master's at Flinders University.   They are now settled in Adelaide and Bharat with his long hair, which he has now had cut for years except for a trim at times and his colourful shirts and pants are easy to pick out.   He has travelled all around the world and covered the Australian cricket team for several years, and forged excellent relationships with the players, allowing him to provide great insights on the various platforms he works for, including Channel Seven and Radio SEN.   Bharat also has an interest in WWE Wrestling and Heavy Metal Music, and is also an acclaimed author, including writing a book on the Indian Great, MS Dohni.   Thanks to  Kiss Solutions, an expert in office supplies, this is the story of Bharat...   Enjoy...

    Leading Tasmanian Sports Broadcaster David "Flash" Lithgow

    My guest today on Dashing Dan's sporting adventures for Kiss Professional solutions is leading Tasmanian Radio sports Broadcaster, David Flash Lithgow.   Flash on his breakfast show on SEN had been a big advocate for the introduction of the Tasmanian AFL side the Devils, which has been given the go ahead for 2028 on the proviso which is the AFLs mantra and part of their non-negotiable for the team to exist that a new stadium at Beautiful Salamanca place in Hobart near the iconic constitutional Dock is built With a retractable roof. There is opposition from politicians and other leaders in the Apple Isle to the construction of the venue and the roof, causing upheaval in state politics and the likelihood of yet another state election delaying the stadium's building.   Flash joined me to speak about this issue on the podcast, Enjoy.

    Tom Morris

    Tom Morris is a successful AFL Journalist and cricket broadcaster. He is the chief footy reporter for channel nine, hosts the furnace footy show on channel Nine and is part of the part of the Tuesday night Footy Classified Program hosted by Eddie McGuire.   He also commentates Cricket for SEN and is a very good cricketer having played Grade cricket for St Kilda.   Tom has had his challenges in this industry losing his prized Job at Fox Footy in 2022 over an inappropriate comment on social media, but he has risen again and in the process keeps breaking great stories including Damian Hardwick resigning from Richmond halfway through the 2023 season. which saw him win the coveted AFL Brown Award at the AFL Media Awards for overall excellence.   He is passionate and well-connected, and it was an honour to interview him on Dashing Dan's Sporting Adventures podcast for Kiss Professional Solutions.

    Jimmy Whelan

    My guest today on Dashing Dan Sporting Adventures Podcast is an elite sports person in a number of sports.   He was an outstanding junior middle-distance runner at school, winning the 800 and 1500 metres at the Prestigious APS Sports at Xavier College in Melbourne.   Injuries then curtailed his running career and to help heal he hopped on a bike and then concentrated on road cycling and became a professional road cyclist and was selected in international teams in Europe and actually raced in the Giro D'italia.   However, after numerous falls, he has elected to retire from Road cycling and concentrate on a career as a triathlete.   Here is the story of Jimmy Whelan on Dashing Dan's Sporting Adventures.

    Australian Diver Annabelle Smith

    Today’s guest on Dashing Dan’s Olympic Adventures is a current Olympian who has represented Australia at these Olympics in Paris. She is at her 4th Olympics and is a diver who in Paris finished fifth in the 3-metre synchro swimming with Maddison Keeney, who at the time of recording was in the final of the individual synchro. Annabelle won bronze in 2016 and was fifth in Tokyo and has also won a gold and 2 silvers at the Commonwealth Games.     One of our first podcasts was with Olympic Gold medalist in Cycling in the Madison in Sydney, Scott McGrory.     Kim Crow, now Brennan, is a three-time Rowing Olympian including winning Gold at the 2016 in the Single Sculls and 2012 a silver in the Double Sculls and Bronze in the Single Sculls.   She was a champion former Junior Hurdler before a bad injury ended her aspirations in that sport and she was spotted by a Talent ID program and the rest is history.   Thank you to Aussie Home Loans

    Dual Olympian Basketballer Chris Anstey

    Chris Anstey had an outstanding Basketball Career. He was drafted to The NBA and played with Dallas and Chicago.   He also represented Australia at the 2000 Olympics where the Boomers finished 4th and in 2008 where they were seventh, but missed out on Athens due to Injury.   He had a spectacular NBL career and was a star in Russia as well.     1992 Gold Medalist Peter Antonie

    Over the past 30 years, Australia has had some outstanding Rowers at an international level, who have starred at the Olympics.   One of our best is 1992 Olympic Gold medalist in the Double Sculls, Peter Antonie, who won gold with Stephen Hawkins.   Peter's durability, determination, and penchant for hard work have seen him represent Australia for more than 20 years.     Today, my guest is one of the leading sports commentators in the country. He has broadcast every sport at a high level including Melbourne Cups, Numerous AFL Grand Finals, Test cricket and Swimming at the Olympic Games.   His Olympic Games Commentary Journey continues with the Host broadcaster from Australia on Channel Nine.     Burras Coach and Former Kookaburra Jay Stacy

    Jay Stacy is one of the most capped Australian Men's hockey players representing the Kookaburras In over 321 games in a stellar 12-year career including 4 Olympic Games, which netted a 4 Olympic Games, which netted a 4th, a silver medal and 2 Bronze medals.  He is now coaching the Australian under-21 team.     Steve Foley

    5 Time Olympian Melissa Wu

    Weightlifter Robert Kabbas

    Robert Kabbas is a three-time Olympian for Australia in Weightlifting, one of only two Australians to represent the sport at three Olympics.  Australia has only won 4 medals in the Olympics in weightlifting and Robert has one of those silvers from LA in 1984.
