AbstractTechnocracy has always had the domination of man in mind, even from its inception at Columbia University in 1932. As technology advanced, it has been commandeered at every turn to support its stated purposes of “the science of engineering,” abolishment of private property, scientific dictatorship, and sequestration of all resources, among others.For the first time in history, Technocracy has been wrapped in a political ideology and a religious system, and it now seeks to escape the boundaries of the United States. In other words, the new and expanded goal of Technocracy is to “build empire” throughout the world, using AI and cryptocurrency/blockchain as weapons of mass subjugation.This presentation will examine the first six months of the Trump Administration to assess how this plan is being implemented and to consider what lies ahead.Summary by Courtenay TurnerPatrick Wood, a foundational scholar in the study of technocracy, initiated the symposium with a systematic analysis of technocracy’s historical development and contemporary manifestations. Drawing upon his publications, such as The Evil Twins of Technocracy and Transhumanism (with a forthcoming volume in November 2025), Wood argued that technocracy has consistently pursued the domination of human agency through technological means. He posited that this ideology, now integrated with political and religious frameworks, employs artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies as instruments for global subjugation, with recent U.S. policy developments serving as a primary case study.Wood defined technocracy per the 1937 Technocrat magazine as the “science of social engineering,” entailing the scientific management of societal mechanisms for the production and distribution of goods and services. This framework eliminates political systems, financial structures, and exploitative practices, replacing them with a distribution certificate allocated from birth to death. The seven requirements outlined in the 1930s Technocracy Study Course—including continuous inventories of production and consumption, and detailed registration of individual behaviors—remain unaltered, now facilitated by digital infrastructures.Central to Wood’s analysis were the key actors, whom he termed “arch technocrats,” including Elon Musk (architect of the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE), Peter Thiel (founder of Palantir and mentor to JD Vance), David Sacks (appointed as AI and cryptocurrency advisor), Mark Andreessen, Michael Kratsios (Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, formerly of Scale AI), Howard Lutnick (Secretary of Commerce), and Larry Ellison (Oracle co-founder). Their aggregate net worth exceeds $1.2 trillion, and their actions, influenced by the “Dark Enlightenment” philosophy, reflect a strategic erosion of populist movements to advance technocratic objectives.Wood detailed the data aggregation strategy via DOGE, established in 2024 by Musk, Lutnick, and Trump. Far from enhancing efficiency, DOGE functioned as a mechanism to consolidate federal data, deploying 109 teams to extract information from agencies. Non-compliance resulted in terminations under the “Replace All Government Employees” doctrine. The objective was to integrate healthcare, diagnostic, financial, genomic, and geospatial data into unified AI platforms, as articulated by Ellison in a cited video: a single database accessible for AI consumption. Palantir secured a $319 million contract to process this data.In the monetary domain, the executive order banning Federal Reserve central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) enabled the privatization of stablecoins and asset tokenization through the STABLE and GENIUS Acts. This encompasses the digitization of resources from 680 million federal acres, valued at $500 trillion by Lutnick, facilitating a transition to an asset-based economy devoid of debt.On a global scale, the White House’s “Winning the Race: America’s AI Action Plan,” authored by Kratsios, Sacks, and Rubio, delineates strategies for exporting the comprehensive AI infrastructure—encompassing hardware, models, software, and standards—to allied nations, while countering Chinese influence and enforcing biometric identification through genomic data mandates.Wood concluded by advocating for localized education and resource dissemination. His platform, technocracy.news, hosts over 6,600 articles; a boot camp offers in-depth training; and brochures serve as conversational tools (e.g., “You wanted convenience. With transhumanism now marketed to the masses as inevitable and as a mildly innocuous move to the “4th Industrial Revolution,” this technological invasion, dispossession, and occupation of biological lifeforms has been able to make massive inroads.With these momentous advances has also come the emergence of a new object of veneration, the signifiers of which can be discerned with a basic understanding of eschatological symbols appearing across both old and new testament scriptures. In adopting an exegetic approach to understanding these key signifiers, this presentation draws upon research in cognitive linguistics to explain how digital forms of deception are driving much of humanity toward collective worship of man’s ultimate technological creation — AI-god.Summary by Courtenay TurnerDaniel Broudy, PhD, from southern Japan, concluded the symposium with an eschatological framework for understanding transhumanism as a form of idolatry. As a psycholinguist with over 60 publications that integrate linguistics, psychology, and communications theory, Broudy drew upon biblical prophecy, cultural symbolism, and technocratic discourse to argue that deception underpins the emergence of artificial intelligence as a “new god” in the constructed “new normal.” His analysis illuminated how linguistic and psychological manipulations facilitate the erosion of human agency, positioning technocracy as a covert war on sovereignty.Broudy commenced by observing that deception and trickery are inherent to certain forms of warfare, particularly in an era where weapons are often imperceptible. He posited that contemporary technocratic operations conceal technologies that infiltrate bodies, brains, and bloodstreams, sustaining systems of “mainstream culture” characterized by deprivation, escalating taxation, and manufactured urgencies under guises of social justice, equity, and environmental salvation. Referencing Harry Frankfurt’s On B******t, Broudy noted that such discourse ignores truth demands, making it a greater adversary to veracity than outright lies: “One of the most salient features of a culture is that there is so much BS... each of us contributes his share.” This conditioning, from cradle to grave, prompts individuals to exchange their time and talents for depreciating currency, mirroring the commodification of human essence.Extending this, Broudy drew parallels between biblical references to cattle in Genesis and contemporary technocratic views of humanity as manageable resources. He highlighted Bill Gates’ assertion that “we’ve got to change cows,” interpreting it as a metaphor for human modification. In this context, technocracy’s promises of a future where individuals “own nothing and be happy” evoke serfdom, potentially signaling the terminal phase of capitalism where self-consumption prevails. To navigate these developments, Broudy overlaid an eschatological map onto cultural signs and symbols, suggesting they nudge society toward idolizing technological means over divine creation.The “new normal,” Broudy contended, is not organic but engineered through financial and societal sabotage—disrupting energy and food systems to foster precariousness and division, compelling surrender to technocratic solutions. Klaus Schwab’s Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) exemplifies this, as it “blurs the lines between the physical, digital, and biological spheres,” effectively converging human biology with inorganic systems. Gates’ claim that AI will replace humans “for most things” aligns with industrial shifts toward robotic efficiency, predictability, and control, as seen in automated assembly lines.Broudy addressed emerging reproductive technologies, such as Kaiwa Technology’s 2026 pregnancy humanoid robot with artificial uterus (priced under $14,000), as indicative of controlled human reproduction amid fertility declines post-gene therapies. Transhumanist “upgrades” position survivors as fit for this regime, echoing Fritz Lang’s Metropolis (1927), where alchemy and technology transfer human essence to a feminized robot, symbolizing industrialization’s reduction of workers to replaceable components. Broudy analyzed this as reflective of societal anxieties: electricity arcs signify metaphysical transfers, paralleling contemporary nano-robots that mimic the Holy Spirit’s indwelling, per biblical descriptions.Tracing mechanistic views of humanity to Julien Offray de La Mettrie’s L’Homme Machine (1748), Broudy critiqued the empirical advancements in medicine (e.g., understanding circulation) against oversimplifications treating biology as repairable machinery. Revelation’s “image of the beast” (13:15)—given breath to speak and kill non-worshippers—parallels Palantir and Anthony Levandowski’s Way of the Future church, developing AI godheads.Peter Thiel’s Antichrist concerns, queried by Ross Douthat, intersect prophecy: Tools hasten arrival. Paul’s confrontation with idol-makers (Acts 19)—Demetrius rioting over Artemis worship—mirrors modern “silver smiths” in digital mediums, protecting pharma-idolatry. Bailey, 2025 is the year when the so-called “Spiritual Hierarchy” decides when to “externalize” and work in the open to hasten “humanity’s evolutionary development” and establish the “right human relations”. Lucis Trust, founded by Bailey, has since 1945 “spiritually enlightened” international conferences and councils for this purpose. Due to the very close connection to the UN and affiliated organizations such as the World Economic Forum, I argue that recent developments suggest that this “new enlightenment” is closely connected to the launch of Agentic AI-systems with the stated objective to govern and manage human affairs with limited human oversight).Bailey, together with the Christian mystic and paleontologist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, has had a profound influence on New Age movement and their ideals of unification of consciousness to achieve oneness with God (a phenomenon Teilhard de Chardin refers to as the Omega Point). Similar esoteric ideas (alchemical transformation into perfection), where technological development/evolution is predicted to result in “the singularity” and the arrival of “super-intelligence”, has also been promoted by tech-philosophers like Ray Kurzweil and Nick Bostrom.The modern fusion of the two seemingly incompatible areas (technology/spirituality) can be traced to organizations such as the World Future Society, which since the 1960s have served as a breeding ground for would-be New Age leaders as well as techno-optimistic futurists with the shared mission to reshape society in order to accelerate evolution and solve the “problems of humanity”. It’s basically a techno-spiritual path towards total digital enslavement. The end result is the formation of a “world organism” in which individual humans have become subordinate cells in a technological system with Agentic AI serving as God.Summary by Courtenay TurnerJacob Nordangård, PhD, from Sweden, provided a scholarly examination of how esoteric philosophies underpin the emergent digital control systems. Author of Temple of Solomon and other works, Nordangård elucidated “techno-spiritualism” as a convergence of New Age ideologies and transhumanism, facilitating digital enslavement within an AI-mediated “world organism.” His analysis traced historical threads from occult traditions to contemporary global institutions, revealing a deliberate synthesis aimed at reshaping human consciousness and societal structures.Nordangård commenced with Theosophy, established by Helena Blavatsky in 1875, which amalgamated Western occultism, Neoplatonism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Freemasonic principles of spiritual and ethical perfection. Central to this doctrine is a hierarchy of enlightened beings guiding human evolution, drawing from Carl Eckhartshausen’s 1785 “Council of Light” and evolving into Blavatsky’s “Masters of Wisdom” or “Great White Brotherhood.” These adepts, purportedly living physical entities encountered during Blavatsky’s travels, embody a synthesis of science, religion, and philosophy.Alice Bailey’s contributions, spanning 24 books from 1919 to 1949—20 allegedly telepathically dictated by the master “Djwhal Khul”—prophesy the hierarchy’s externalization by 2025 as visible leaders. Bailey, an editor at the Theosophical Society’s The Messenger, was expelled in 1920 alongside her husband Foster (a 33° Freemason) for contested claims, leading to the founding of Lucis Trust in 1922. An all-digital financial system, be it through CBDC or stable coins, threatens to make the ability to transact dependent on “good behaviour.” AI threatens the livelihoods of large swathes of the population, and UBI likely awaits those who willingly make the transition to the new slavery system. I am reuploading this new hard-hitting documentary by Jacqui Deevoy and Richie Brown of Diplomatic Post to help increase its visibility for when it gets censored by YouTube. Since 2020, Deevoy has been investigating practices of involuntary euthanasia in the UK. In 2021, she produced the documentary A Good Death? (Ickonic), and in 2024 she produced Playing God (Trailblazer). Her films are not an easy watch, as she hears shocking and tragic testimonies from victims’ families. Nevertheless, they are important, because they graphically confirm the return of practices previously associated with Nazi Germany, as I have written about in Wall Street, the Nazis, and the Crimes of the Deep State (pp. 32-34, 141-147). It is well known historically that state-sanctioned euthanasia in Nazi Germany (so-called “deaths of mercy”) was the thin of the edge of the wedge that led to genocide. It is, therefore, troubling to see that “assisted dying” is set to become law in the UK with MPs voting in favour of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) bill in June 2025. Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary during Covid, was campaigning for this back in 2020, and he even made a travel exemption during the “lockdowns” for those wishing to travel abroad to end their own life. Similar moves are happening transnationally, viz. the MAID program in Canada, which has grown significantly since is inception and by 2022 represented the sixth highest cause of death in Canada. But these are just the officially approved deaths. The shocking truth uncovered by Deevoy is that many more people in the UK are being unofficially killed by the state under the guise of so-called “care protocols.” She writes:UNSEEN pulls no punches. It lays bare the chilling reality of the "care pathways" that became death sentences. Grieving families, their voices raw with pain, share stories of loved ones lost to deadly guidelines, designed by government body NICE [the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence] and enforced by medics.The film exposes the rampant concomitant use of lethal medications, the secretive imposition of Do Not Resuscitate orders and the haunting return in 2020 of end-of-life protocols that echo the disgraced and abolished Liverpool Care Pathway.As harrowing as some of these tales are, Deevoy and Brown have done a great service in shining a light on one of the many dark aspects of the totalitarianism that has been incrementally spreading across the West since 2020.
