Episodes

  1. Crane Dreams

Remaster of a track from GRATUITOUS VIOLINS, a 1990 release that went out on the cassette underground. Ostensibly a meditational piece, it ended up featuring some crazy English dude going a bit doolally on the bass.

  2. White Feather On The Wind

First track recorded for ARTLAB2. Photo from: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ps_sahana/

  3. Breathe

A light, airy piece built on chord repetition on a synth pad and drums just ambling along, which makes a nice bed for a simple piano part.

  4. Walking Drum (Weedwhacker)

And a third variant of "Walking Drum" with more mix refinements and tweaks and a a buzzy synth going spacewalk.

  5. Walking Drum (Plinky Thud)

Two variations of a new piece, one with added spaced-out toy grand piano, one without (and a slightly different mix.)

  6. Mutate (A)

Ambient piece as part of a soundtrack for a gallery. Starts in the typical ambient manner, ends up going all Ligeti-ish.

  7. Shadowrun (version 1)

Two versions of "Shadowrun," a composition from the late 1980s that does a good job of showing me off as a 1980s synth whacker. Done mainly for my own entertainment. If I recall correctly, the main drum track was played on a keyboard while the fills were sticks on electronic drums.

  8. Shadowrun (version 2)

Two versions of "Shadowrun," a composition from the late 1980s that does a good job of showing me off as a 1980s synth whacker. Done mainly for my own entertainment. If I recall correctly, the main drum track was played on a keyboard while the fills were sticks on electronic drums.

  9. The Burmese Mood

A trio of ambient pieces. And, yes, "The Cat's Argument" was inspired by my late cat Ophelia having a lengthy one-sided argument with her water bowl.

  10. The Cat's Argument With The Water - Bowl

A trio of ambient pieces. And, yes, "The Cat's Argument" was inspired by my late cat Ophelia having a lengthy one-sided argument with her water bowl.

  11. The Dream House

A trio of ambient pieces. And, yes, "The Cat's Argument" was inspired by my late cat Ophelia having a lengthy one-sided argument with her water bowl.
