Db Artists Musique Podcast - 156 - Bimbau
Bimbau was born in Brazil, on the outskirts of São Paulo, where rhythm was inherent to everyday life from an early age. After moving to Paris in 2012, she connected with electronic music through the city’s club scene, before heading to London in 2016, where she explored the avant-garde underground and deepened her connection to dancefloors and warehouse sound systems. In 2019 she relocated to Berlin where she spent the following years immersed in the city’s electronic music culture exploring, refining her sound, and developing her technical skills. Deeply influenced by Brazilian rhythms and beat patterns, Bimbau blends percussive house with raw 90s vocals. Her sets are powerful and hypnotic, rhythmically driven, built for the dance floor. From Sisyphos to Mensch Meier and Kater in Berlin, to Wall in Miami and Omeara in London, she continues to expand her presence across international dancefloors, including festival appearances and recent peak-time sets at Silencio in Paris. Bimbau’s name is inspired by the Afro-Brazilian instrument berimbau, a symbol of resistance and movement, reflecting how sound travels across oceans, evolves through cultures, and creates spaces of connection, freedom, and belonging.

Maono at Polifonic Festival Puglia 2025 - Le Palme Beach 27-07-2025 Biography Maono channels each performance into a groovy narrative, where rhythm meets soul. Although music has always been her unspoken passion, at the age of 30 she decided to make it her life's purpose, researching sounds that portray the ever-changing nuances of house music. Maono would talk about manipulating the tracks, experimenting with how different pieces fit together—just as if she were already orchestrating a DJ set. These formative moments became the foundation of her artistry, planting the seeds of a lifelong connection to music. Her sets balance hypnotic melodies and infectious beats meant to capture the pulse of the crowd, spinning electro house and deep house. Her signature style, poised between elegance and intensity, has taken her to some of the most renowned stages all around Europe. Deeply inspired by the roots of house and disco music, she is able to add her own contemporary twist, always looking for fresh and unexpected sounds. Db Artists Musique Podcast - 149 - Hamma
FROM TUNIS TO PARIS Hamma is originally from Tunisia, a child of the south. He grew up surrounded by traditional oriental sounds and electronic music that was very popular in the country. Passionate about breakdancing, which he practiced at the time with his childhood friends, he developed an interest in Western music and culture, both urban and otherwise: Hip Hop, Pop, etc. AND ONE DAY, ALMOST BY CHANCE, HE CAME ACROSS TURNTABLES IN DJERBA... At the age of 20, as part of his studies, he moved temporarily to Cannes: a new country, a new culture, new rules. Fascinated by social diversity and musical richness, those first moments in France symbolized for him the discovery and realization of his art and talent. He then set out for the capital, where new experiences and encounters would lead him to a promising career. CHAMPION OF FRANCE, THE ULTIMATE RECOGNITION! Curious, determined, and entirely self-taught, his technique improved, and his creativity became limitless. This thirst for learning, for refining his skills, and for succeeding in this field drove him to sign up for the championship organized by Red Bull. HIS STYLE AND TALENT WIN EVERYONE OVER! HE SEIZES THE TITLE OF CHAMPION OF FRANCE. This title became a real springboard for his career, both in France and internationally. It also led him to compete for the world title in Taiwan, in the same competition, where he placed in the top 5. ATYPICAL It’s hard to define the talent, technique, and style of Hamma in a single word, other than “atypical,” given how comfortable he is with a multitude of musical styles (electro, house, afrotrap, R&B, Hip Hop, etc.), no matter the setting or the audience. In a club, a stadium, a museum, on the roof of a church, or in the depths of the desert, nothing can throw him off when he’s at the turntables. Even after the pandemic, which shut down the nightlife scene for many months, Hamma found unconventional venues to keep playing, having fun, and offering musical content to his followers. To appreciate the full scope of his talent and creativity, follow him on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok... He also never runs out of ideas when it comes to bringing his French audience together, thanks to his own “Hamma & Friends” events, organized since 2019. DJ WITHOUT BORDERS Very active internationally, Hamma is regularly invited abroad and has found an audience in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Dubai, Qatar, and many more places: Taiwan, Cyprus, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco... Every summer, he collaborates with Mosaïque FM, a Tunisian radio station, with a weekly show featuring one hour of an exclusive set.

Db Artists Musique Podcast - 148 - KALISMÃ
Born in Brazil and based in Ibiza for nearly a decade, KALISMÃ is entering the underground electronic scene in full force, bringing with her a bold and refined sound shaped by years of deep immersion and evolution. Her sets are a dynamic fusion of minimal, electro, deep house, and everything in between—crafted into groovy, sexy, high-energy musical rides that feel like a conversation between herself and the dance floor. After moving to Ibiza in 2017 and fully diving into the island’s underground culture, she took to the decks in 2020 and quickly began making waves across Europe, performing at iconic venues in her home base of Ibiza, softly landing at Kater Blau in Berlin and New York City alongside Marco Carola for the well known ‘Party Monster’ at Sony Hall NYC. Her rising profile earned her a spot at the prestigious IMS Ibiza closing party, where she shared the stage with Roisin Murphy, Pete Tong, Mochakk and many others — a milestone early in her journey. She’s also played major festivals such as Extrema Outdoor, Voodoo Village, and We Can Dance, performing alongside global heavyweights like Seth Troxler, Kerri Chandler, Damian Lazarus, and Black Coffee. KALISMÃ’s ability to seamlessly fit into such diverse lineups is a testament to the distinctive quality of her sound and digger-style edge. In 2023 and 2024, KALISMÃ earned her first residency at SHEN by Franky Wah at Club Chinois—a key chapter in her artistic evolution. Surrounded by a wide range of DJs with diverse musical backgrounds, the residency became a space where she continued shaping her sound and refining her identity behind the decks. That same year, she was featured on John Digweed’s iconic Transitions Radio Show and made her debut at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). With her presence rapidly expanding—and her first music productions set to drop in 2025—KALISMÃ is stepping fully into her signature sound, bringing fierce style, magnetic energy, and an original voice in the global underground—unfiltered and without boundaries.

Dionigi - Love Is In The Shadow
Artistically born in 1990 during a performance at the Alter Ego, a well-known club in Verona (Italy) Marco Dionigi’s particular style was immediately noticed by the renowned Art Director Andrea Oliva, who apparently remained enchanted by the miscellaneous of electro-beat and experimental, which clear allusions to the 80s’ electro wave characterized at the time Dionigi’s compositions. Thanks to the peculiar sounds of his style, Dionigi soon became one the most appreciated Italian DJs, and the pieces created in his own studio with the inspiring name of Ursa Major (founded in 1991) developed into instant successes on the dance floors nation-wide. Meanwhile, Alter Ego is turning into one of the main Italian Clubs. In 1993 Dionigi creates a new sound called Slow Motion by merging BPM bass with hypnotic melodies and top resonances of new age/ethno dark wave. This is also the year of the foundation of “Tube Records”, a label that will expand Dionigi’s success across Europe with the unforgettable tracks, Anaconda, Heaven Flute, Le Serpent, Way Out, The Hard Rocks, Seregenti, Manta, Freefall, I’m Not Invisible, Le Tambura, The Ghost, Very Interesting, Cross, If You Wanna Party and Holiday in Africa. Under the artistic direction of Andrea Oliva, Dionigi starts a collaboration with the Mazoom Club, where, for seven years, he basically invents the trendiest Friday nights’ events called “Love Afterhours”. After that he started to experiment the first Vestax CD Player thanks to the birth of laser technology through compact disks. Dionigi enthusiastically jumps into the computer era by realizing sophisticated pieces that are immediately sought by the most famous Italian Clubs: Mazoom, il Muretto, Kinky, Ecu, Area City, and Cocorico. In 1994 the successful partnership with the father of all Italian DJs: Daniele Baldelli, the creator of the Cosmic Sound – a friendship that will inspire important electro-funk projects for several years, and countless pieces of music such as Cosmicdiba and Dibadub (Gomma Records, 1999); the celebrated, particularly in Canada, Funkadiba - The Future Funk (Jaywork, 2003); the Alien Picnic album (Jaywork, 2002), entirely realized by Dionigi. The Dionigi-Baldelli team created their own label, “Pedivelle Records”, which immediately attracts attention with the track I Must Feel Better and the second brilliant album Those Lights (Marco Dionigi). They get noticed by “Eskimo Recordings” and were invited to remix pieces realized by famous artists, among who Holger Czukay, Alicia, Bridges, Spirit, Bronx Irish, Kevin Harrison, The Dream Syndicate, Richard Bone, Torch Song and Arpadis – all tracks are included in the Cosmic Rock album produced by “Eskimo Recordings”. Dionigi currently collaborates with “Prismatikone Records”, with the new branch “Quantistic Division” where he is the A&R Manager

Pilar Molinero - Cone of Consciousness
Now based in Barcelona, Pilar Molinero is an Argentine-born DJ and producer whose journey has taken her from Buenos Aires’ underground scene to the vibrant heart of Europe’s electronic music landscape. Pilar’s musical roots trace back to her childhood, where her father’s vinyl collection introduced her to legends like Alan Parsons Project, Supertramp, The Police, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and the list go on and ond. As a child, she immersed herself in each song, imagining elaborate visual stories—a creative spark that still drives her music today. In her teens, Pilar explored Hip Hop, Downtempo, Trip hop, Space age and Pop music before discovering electronic music in 2012 at an underground event in Buenos Aires. This experience ignited her curiosity for the electronic realm, where she quickly gravitated toward the house, microhouse, deep house, minimal sounds of artists like Delano Smith, Pepe Bradock, So Inagawa, Andrey Pushkarev, Mihai Popoviciu, Varhat, Janeret among many more. Over time, she expanded her influences to include acid, nu-disco, funk, and house, forming a successful DJ duo inspired by DamSwindle, Fouk, Blackloops, that led her to perform alongside talents like Bushwacka and Purple Disco Machine. Her passion for a unique, synthetic sound ultimately led her to pursue an independent path, diving deeper into music production and sound design. After relocating to Europe in 2021, she began releasing original music on respected labels like YEG Ya Estamos Grandes, and Memento Records, contributing remixes and productions that showcase her signature blend of creativity and technical skill. Driven by a desire to foster community, Pilar founded Fullhouse, an electronic music event series that over ten years has evolved from intimate gatherings to outdoor festivals in Barcelona, connecting people through shared musical experiences. In 2021, she took this vision further with the launch of her vinyl label, Quantum Records, dedicated to promoting emerging talents with support from established artists, creating a platform where fresh voices and renowned figures collaborate. Now a resident DJ at Club Macarena for Memento Records’ Monday nights, Pilar performs alongside underground icons like Robert Drewek, Idriss D. In 2024, she joined the lineup at Brunch Festival BCN, performing alongside world-renowned names like Helena Hauff, Jamie Jones, Nightmares on Wax, Dixon, marking a high point in her career. Pilar’s influence extends beyond the stage, as she engages with Barcelona’s creative scene as a member of the Algorythm collective and collaborated with cultural spaces like Perros Mediterráneos. Her journey is one of constant evolution and a deep commitment to sound exploration, making her a key figure in today’s electronic music landscape

Pilar Molinero - Sensitive People
Now based in Barcelona, Pilar Molinero is an Argentine-born DJ and producer whose journey has taken her from Buenos Aires’ underground scene to the vibrant heart of Europe’s electronic music landscape. Sublee - Superself
Sublee is one full-pack artist, being able to perform and spread a blissful energy through his sets, reinforce the general production patterns and conquer the people; he has that sort of presence that instils immediate trust – or better yet, the promise of a good time. Soulful sounds that break house and techno boundaries, adding just a bit of a touch of minimal to make it just right. This specific personal touch emphasizes his capability of always offering something you cannot expect from a normal DJ. Pouring his soul into production results into him threading the needle between different strands of the electronic music, an upbringing, yet rough-and-ready attribute.

Db Artists Musique Podcast - 143 - Dark Globe
Dark Globe gained prominence after being signed by Leftfield to their Hard Hands label. They've since released their distinctive digital funk on A&M Records, Warner Records, W9Y, Global Underground, and Island/Universal Records, following the success of their hit "Break My World." Dark Globe's music has featured in "Lara Croft: The Cradle of Life," they've remixed artists like George Clinton, Bush, Orbital, Amanda Ghost, Imogen Heap, Two Lone Swordsmen, and Boy George. They also created the first-ever breakbeat record, 'Mondo Scuro'. Musically, Frost and Diggens had both been inspired by the DIY spirit of the acid house scene. They were passionate not only about the sounds of Chuck D and Flav’s Bomb Squad, but about the beauty of David Sylvian’s solo albums, Basic Channel’s ghost note groove, Stakker Humanoid’s raw excitement, Dead can dance’s otherworldliness and the ‘music concrete’ of Swiss sample punks the Young Gods. They would spend the week, gathering ideas, then load up their samplers and get on the bus to the studio on a Friday evening with the aim of emerging on Sunday morning with a 9-minute masterpiece burned onto cassette. Frost and Diggens released a stream of vinyl from 1993-1996 on own imprint Violent Drum and finished when Matt and Pete were discovered by Andrew Weatherall at Sabresonic which led them to sign to Leftfield’s Hard Hands label in 1997 as Dark Globe. Also recording as, The Deep, Mondo Scuro, Your Nemesis. Db Artists Musique Podcast - 141 - Lavandonia
Lavandonia is Jessica, an Italian DJ now based in Munich. Although her parents fed her since childhood with Jimi Hendrix and Ozzy, she suddenly fell in love with electronic music, one night, six years ago, in a tiny disused laundry room where her crew 'Lavanderia' used to meet to play records. Recently, together with two other Italian fellas, she founded Discontinuous, a Munich-based label that celebrates the cult of the unpragmatic life. Jessica loves every shade of House, especially with syncopated rhythms and deep or funky bass lines. Her way of communicating with the dancers reflects her enthusiastic and engaging personality, wherever the music takes her, every night. https://www.instagram.com/lavandoniaa https://it.ra.co/dj/lavandonia https://on.soundcloud.com/N2nJZh2CyrzM8nhN7
