Meanwhile, Alter Ego is turning into one of the main Italian Clubs. In 1993 Dionigi creates a new sound called Slow Motion by merging BPM bass with hypnotic melodies and top resonances of new age/ethno dark wave. In 1994 the successful partnership with the father of all Italian DJs: Daniele Baldelli, the creator of the Cosmic Sound – a friendship that will inspire important electro-funk projects for several years, and countless pieces of music such as Cosmicdiba and Dibadub (Gomma Records, 1999); the celebrated, particularly in Canada, Funkadiba - The Future Funk (Jaywork, 2003); the Alien Picnic album (Jaywork, 2002), entirely realized by Dionigi. Now based in Barcelona, Pilar Molinero is an Argentine-born DJ and producer whose journey has taken her from Buenos Aires’ underground scene to the vibrant heart of Europe’s electronic music landscape. Pilar’s musical roots trace back to her childhood, where her father’s vinyl collection introduced her to legends like Alan Parsons Project, Supertramp, The Police, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and the list go on and ond. As a child, she immersed herself in each song, imagining elaborate visual stories—a creative spark that still drives her music today. In her teens, Pilar explored Hip Hop, Downtempo, Trip hop, Space age and Pop music before discovering electronic music in 2012 at an underground event in Buenos Aires. Dumitrescu is currently one of the youngest up-and-coming artists of the Romanian Electronic New Wave and one to keep an eye on. Producer and DJ, DumitrEscu is 100% dedicated to his art, having slowly but steadily been building his momentum. What seemed to be just a hobby in the beginning, quickly became a passion that lead to his curated sound and musical skills. He has become a regular name in the electronic music industry with gigs both in the UK and Romania, in clubs such as Club Guesthouse and Starlane as well as festivals such as Picnic Fonic, Fabrika and Unum. Dumitrescu has first caught the eye of the electronic music scene with his first vinyl release at Priku’s Atipic Lab [Atipic Lab 010].
