Defcon Workshops is a project run by a collective of experienced professional musicians and artists. Our workshops cater for all age groups, genders and backgrounds. We offer a relaxed and informal environment combining a back-to-basics, hands-on approach with traditional teaching methods. We support and encourage young people, providing tutors they can relate to who can also offer personal guidance where required.Through their own experience, our tutors demonstrate how easily accessible music and the arts can be to absolutely anyone. Their combined expertise and enduring enthusiasm have enabled our team to bring an alternative method of teaching techniques to a younger generation. Our workshops utilise all of the separate tutors' skills and experience to cover everything from lyric writing and music production to DJing and drumming, as well as offering careers and business advice to take into the modern world.
