Brendan Ricciardi and Ben Thorpe are back with plenty to talk about in the Delco summer ball world. We start off with recapping Kevin McGonigle’s All-Star appearance in Philly, talk about the two Delco players drafted, and cover everything summer ball related from little league up to the Delco League

Brendan Ricciardi and Ben Thorpe hand out some awards recognizing the best talent in the 2026 Delaware County High School baseball season, as well as sharing the First, Second and Honorable Mention All-Delco teams.

The district playoffs have come and gone, and two Delco teams remain standing. Join Brendan Ricciardi and Ben Thorpe as they breakdown all of the district playoff matchups, as well as previewing the state tournament which will see Haverford and Springfield representing Delco. We also recap the PCL and PAISAA tournaments as well.

The playoffs have finally arrived! Brendan and Ben break down all things playoff baseball in Delco including the PCL playoffs, PAISAA State Tournament, and PIAA District 1 playoffs that will begin on Monday afternoon. We also share some stories about the Delco Baseball Now team entering into the Carroll Wiffle Ball Tournament in honor of the late John McCullough.

With just two weeks left until playoffs, things are starting to heat up all around Delaware County. Brendan and Ben breakdown everything going on including the various playoff races, the players of the week, the power rankings and more.

Episcopal's Michael Schaffer fired the first perfect game of the season, retiring all 21 Penn Charter hitters that he faced. Brendan Ricciardi and Ben Thorpe recap that, an Episcopal game of the week win over Haverford School, and plenty more including a Ridley/Interboro breast cancer awareness game, awards, rankings and the announcement of our next game of the week.

We’ve just about hit the halfway point of the Delco High School Baseball regular season, and we are starting to see a bit more clarity in where teams stand as the season starts to heat up. We talk Haverford/Penncrest pitcher’s duel, EA and Haverford School having 3-0 weeks, awards of the week and plenty more.

After a week off from the show for Easter, we jump right back into the action recapping a great week of Delco Baseball including a 16 strikeout performance by Haverford’s Jimmy Boyle. We talk all the conferences in the area and also give our players of the week, updated power rankings, and share our upcoming game of the week.

Delco’s own Kevin McGonigle made his MLB debut and did not disappoint, as the Bonner alum went 4/5 with two doubles on Thursday then had a game-winning hit on Friday as well. We talk about that as well as all of the action from the past week in the high school baseball world including a new #1 in our power rankings.

After a long winter, we FINALLY have actual baseball to talk about this week. We go through all the conferences in Delco and highlight some takeaways, name our players of the week, share our new power rankings, and unveil our second game of the week of the year 

In this episode, we are joined by the reigning 12U District 19 Champion Newtown Edgmont Little League as we were so kindly invited to Dick's House of Sport in Wilmington to do a "Youth Baseball" night. We are joined by nearly the entire team, their coaches, and even some parents to recap a memorable summer for the boys in green and gold.

Radnor made program history in 2025, winning their first ever Central League Baseball title and second District 1 title in program history. Despite losing 6-7 offensive starters, the Raptors return a lot of innings from that team. Austin Havertine, Blake Havertine, Daniel Kellis, Hayden Goldenberg and Coach Mark Jordan join the show to talk about what needs to happen for them to defend their titles.

Springfield has missed the playoffs each of the last three years, but with a young core returning its top six pitchers from 2025 and the majority of their lineup as well, they enter 2026 as a dark horse team. Danny Meakim, Nick Corse, Jake Lennon and Jack Rae join the show to talk about the steps they need to take to get back to the playoffs.

After a District 1 5A Championship in 2024, Marple Newtown had a year of learning in 2025 after they graduated 15 seniors from that title team. Sean Grogan, Aidin Curran, Jackson Burger and Head Coach Toby MacCart join the show to talk about how the experience from last year can help lead them back to a deep playoff run this season.

Chichester has won the Del Val every year ranging back to 2019, but Interboro is looking to take it back in year #2 under Rob Martin. Joel Sheridan, Tyler Green, Scott Poluchuck, Kaiden Whalen, Greg Ferrari and Coach Martin join the show to talk about how they plan on doing just that in 2026.

Last season, Ridley missed the playoffs for the first time since 2017. Jake Mansfield, Luke Ladislaw, Brendan Soper and Logan Bubb join the show to talk about what it is going to take for them to get back in the dance and start a new streak.

Lower Merion had a great season in 2025 that saw a playoff win over rival Conestoga, and they have their sights set for more in 2026. Brian Heck, Brendan O'Gara, Justin Heck and Head Coach Colin Quinn join the show to talk about what they need to do to make that happen as they return their entire pitching staff from last season.

Despite being riddled with injuries, Garnet Valley battled their way to the playoffs and even picked up a win over Spring-Ford along the way. Cole Lombardo, Ryan McGhee, Harrison Maull and Head Coach Rudy Shiller join the show to talk about what's in store for this season after a ton of young players got experience last season with all those injuries.

Chester finished just a game under .500 in the Del Val, and we are joined this episode by Jon Quiros, Jacoby Roman and Kevin Logan to talk about what they think needs to happen to take another step forward in the second year under Head Coach Wayne Wells.

After one of the best seasons in program history in 2024, Penncrest had an up and down season in Austin Morgan’s first year as Head Coach in 2025. Morgan, Sergio Hernandez, Liam Wray and Connor Finan join the show to talk about what a confident Lions group needs to do to get back in the postseason in 2026.

For our 100th episode, we welcome in the Strath Haven Panthers who are entering a new era in 2026. They no longer have any players remaining from the 2023 team that came in second place in the state tournament, but are ready to start fresh as underdogs this year. Jasper Hals, Atticus Bean, Quinn Jell and Head Coach Brian Fili join the show to talk about what the team will look like in 2026 after a disappointing end to 2025.

Friends Central may fall a few blocks away from Delco, but this team loaded with Delco talent is ready to take back their Friends Schools League title in 2026 after a run of four in a row came to an end. Caleb Bachman, Lucas Abreu, Vaughn Jones and Head Coach Jon Rubin join the show to talk about what it will take to get back on top.

Sun Valley enters a new era this year with a ton of young talent ready to make a name for themselves. Head Coach Brian Palmore and RHP/SS Logan Howe join the show to talk about what to expect from the Vanguards this year as they try to compete while also having an eye on the future.

Episcopal had a great year in 2025, finishing in second in the Inter-Ac and second in the PAISAA State Tournament. We have a full house here as position players Spencer Schuh, Reggie King, Owen Peiffer, and Dillon Walls join the show as well as pitchers Roman Notaro and Matt Roberts to talk about what it will to get to the next level.

Chichester won their first playoff game since 2019 last year, and with a senior heavy team, they're ready to take the next step. Cole Sanford, Logan Werley, Damian Diaz-Badillo, Zach Murray and Head Coach Dan Singley join the show to talk about what needs to happen to take that next step.

Delco Christian has made two straight District Championship games the last two years, and in this episode, Matteo DeBellis, Gabe DiGregorio, Justin Ma and Head Coach Jeff Wisnewski join the show to preview their 2026 season and what it will take to get over that hump and bring home a title.

Kicking off our preseason interviews we welcome in HC Steve DeBarberie, LHP Danny Buckton, C Cole Romano and OF Ryan Friel from the 2025 PCL Champion Bonner Friars as they preview their 2026 season and how they plan to defend the plaque.

Media native and Archbishop Carroll Dan Crossan joins the show to talk about his professional baseball career that has seen him traveling the world. After two years in the Pecos League in California, Dan has spent time playing in Japan and France for the last two years and talks about his experiences there and what is next to come.

We are joined this week by Eric Genther, a Drexel Hill native and Haverford School alum who was signed by the New York Yankees as an undrafted free-agent this summer. Eric talks about the story behind him getting signed, what he learned in his first taste of pro ball, and of course, his time playing ball in Delco.

Andrew Austen has been beating the odds his whole life after being born without his right forearm/hand. The Radnor Baseball alum has turned into a golf content creator, and he joins us this week to talk about his time playing in the Barstool + Bob Does Sports "Internet Invitational" Golf Tournament this past summer as well as talking some baseball.

You may know Alex "Say Burm" Burman for his sketch comedy on social media, but before that, he was just another one of us growing up playing baseball in Delco. Hear Alex talk about his baseball playing days at Episcopal and Media Little League, how he has turned content creation into a career, and a couple of legendary chaotic tangents.

Joe Marra, founder of the Delaware County chapter of the Miracle League, joins the show on the field at MapleZone Sports Institute before a doubleheader to talk about the league. The league was created as a way to allow children and adults with special needs to play baseball and Joe talks about what inspired the idea, all the work that went into getting the league off the ground, and what is to come next including a special announcement.

Brendan Ricciardi and Ben Thorpe recap the three Delco summer ball leagues that all came to an end recently with Clifton winning the Mid-County League, Drexel Hill winning the MSBL, and Upper Darby winning the Delco League. We also take a look at the last Delco team remaining as the Broomall-Newtown 13's will play in the Babe Ruth World Series starting this weekend.

The 2025 Delco League Finals are here, and Upper Darby will face Wayne for the third time in the last four seasons starting on Sunday at O’Hara. Upper Darby’s Joey Suppa and Wayne’s Tommy Bradley join the show to preview what should be a great series. We also talk Mid-County and MSBL Finals as well as the MLB Trade Deadline.

It’s playoff time in the oldest semi-professional baseball league in the country, and we have a loaded episode as we welcome in a representative from each of the four teams playing in the first round. Aston Valley outfielder Vinny Proietto, Springfield Head Coach Steve Trainor, Drexel Hill Head Coach Sean Mohollen and Chester catcher Ben Ettien all come on to talk about their respective teams and give us a look to expect with the Delco League playoffs starting on Tuesday night.

Brendan Ricciardi and Ben Thorpe are back with some summer ball updates after the Little League District tournaments and Cal Ripken Southeastern State Tournaments came to an end. We also discuss the upcoming Babe Ruth State Tournament, the Main Line Senior Legion Tournament, the Delco League playoff race heating up, and the Phillies heading into the All-Star break.

We have just two Delco teams remaining as Bonner won the PCL and District 12 titles to qualify for the 6A bracket, while Radnor won the District 1 title to qualify for the 5A bracket. It was our most chaotic week yet so far this season, and Brendan Ricciardi and Ben Thope are here to break it down for you. We start with our game of the week and talk about the Central League race as Radnor and Haverford are now both 12-1. We also talk the hot streak from Episcopal, break down the district playoff races, and give out our awards at the end of the show.

We have a ton of action this week including Bonner taking down O’Hara in our game of the week, Conestoga’s Luke Hunter firing the second solo no-hitter of the season, and Haverford/Radnor giving us a Central League race for the ages as we head into the final month of the regular season and get ready for the playoff push.

It was a shorter week with many teams on spring break but we still had plenty of action including Conestoga winning their fifth straight game, O'Hara beating Ryan in extras to get to 5-1 in the PCL, and Chichester winning their 57th straight Del Val game in our game of the week vs Interboro.

The rain may have wiped away some games this week, but we still have plenty to talk about including Jimmy Boyle striking out 15 to keep Haverford undefeated. We also talk about the crowded middle of the Central League, Carroll’s quick turnaround, and hand out our player of the week awards with our power rankings at the end.
