Delighted By Christ

The heavens and earth will pass away but God’s salvation will remain forever. I found Isaiah 50:1-8 such a comfort. It help lift our minds from our anxieties and onto God and his eternal salvation. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ, from his word).

One of my favourite passages in the bible 1 Peter 1:3-12 reminds us of the incredible hope we have as Christians. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

We can find hope in God's grace even when everything seems dark. 2 Kings 13:23 helps us to remember God's character and promises, giving us hope. (How I've been delighted by Christ over the past few days).

Every good gift comes from God, let’s enjoy them together to help us keep trusting in Christ till he returns. James 1:17 (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the past few days).

Life can be tiring. I often find it hard to rest well. Let’s look together at the hope of rest the Christ offers from Matthew 11:28. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the past few days).

God has given us incredible value, no matter who you are or how you feel about yourself. God made all of us in his image Genesis 1:27. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the past few days).

We can listen to the very words of God! All Scripture is breathed out by God, how incredible is that. 2 Timothy 3:16. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

God helps us to see it’s worth following him because he really will keep his promises to bless and judge. Praise the Lord he is faithful Malachi 3:6. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

God helps us to see the danger of focusing too much on earthly wealth and possessions. God doesn’t want our hearts to be draw away from him and so miss out on the New creation. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Wealth can bring much anxiety. James helps us to take our focus of earthly riches which come and go. I found James 5:1-3 really freeing. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

The bible is such a gift! 2 Timothy 3:15 reminds us that it’s words can make us wise for salvation. God’s rescue plan, eternal destruction to eternal glory. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

We are not without hope in our struggles. Psalm 121 helps us look to the lord the creator of heaven and earth. Those trusting in Christ can be confident God is their hope and strength. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Our weakness can actually help us serve God better! We don’t need to be strong wise or good as speaking to serve God. Our weakness puts all the focus on God and his power. This can be so refreshing! 1 Corinthians 2:1-5.

Enjoy this incredible truth with me - If we endure we will also reign with Christ! 2 Timothy 2:12 (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Enjoy God’s Glorious plan for a perfect creation without distress. Isaiah 65:17-19 (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

God really does love to bless us, and we really do have so much to give thanks for, even when things are going terribly. Enjoy looking at God’s grace with me from James 4:5-6. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Less Anxiety more Joy for the word of God is not bound. 2 Timothy 2:9. Even the imprisonment of the apostle Paul couldn’t stop the gospel. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the past few days).

Psalm 123 gives us such precious words to use when everything feels too much. God is sovereign, God is king, and God cares - So we can come to him, with humility and share honestly. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Christ came to give his life as a ransom for many, lets enjoy Christ and the beautiful kingdom he is bringing from Matthew 20:28. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Enjoy with me one of the clearest and most beautiful summaries of the gospel, Titus 3:3-8. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

God works all things for the good of those who love him. Listen to the story of how God used Joseph’s suffering for an incredible good. Genesis 50:20 (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the past few days).

This greatly changed how I view conversations! Reflections on how Genesis 1:27 can help us enjoy conversations by remembering humans are made in God’s image. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Christ is real about suffering, but he’s also real about blessing. Let's enjoy Jesus answering Peter’s question, is following Christ worth it from Mathew Ch19:27-29. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

God rescued his people in Judges Ch3:7-11, bringing them peace. Wonderfully this points us to the greatest rescue, through which we can have eternal peace. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

God has shown he loves us in so many ways. Malachi Ch1 gives us a slightly different angle to help when we’re tempted to doubt. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

2 Timothy 2:10 shows us why it’s worth enduring everything to share the gospel, as it leads to Salvation and Eternal glory! (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Enjoy a wonderful prayer from 1 Samuel 2:1-10 where we see more of who God is and what he has planned. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Enjoying God’s goodness is such a key part of continuing to trust and live for him. Let’s enjoy God’s goodness together from James Ch1:16-17. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).

Jesus has defeated the devil but we are often still deceived. God wants to help us reject the devil and enjoy the life he has to offer. (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the past few days).

Knowing Jesus can bring us so much Joy. But our wrong views of Jesus can big a big problem. Let’s look at why Jesus really came and how that’s so much better than we could imagine! (How I’ve been delighted by Christ over the last few days).
