Demystifying Dementia
by I'm Still Here Foundation
The Demystifying Dementia mission is to create space for dialogue where everyone, regardless of their experience with dementia, becomes more comfortable talking about the full journey. Right now, dementia is too often kept in the shadows — whispered about, or avoided entirely. Our goal is to make talking about dementia as normal and unremarkable as talking about any other part of life. Dementia can feel mysterious, frightening, or hard to talk about. We believe that sharing real experiences can reduce stigma, build understanding, and help people feel more prepared for the ways dementia may touch their families, friendships, and communities.
