After answering a mysterious query, they find themselves abruptly abducted and waking up in matching turquoise jumpsuits inside a bizarre, gray-walled complex.Forced to compete against another captured family—the Johnsons—in "The Universe's Best Game Show," they must survive the twisted whims of a reality-glitching host named Roy. From a reality-bending 1950s kitchen intelligence test to a deadly, high-stakes athletic arena inspired by American Gladiators, the Laramies quickly realize that losing this game show means paying the ultimate price.Can Aunt Deb (the career lawyer), Tommy (the fresh MIT grad), and Janice (the rebellious high school artist) maintain their sanity, pass their dexterity checks, and beat the odds to escape?
