DJ Spinna Tribute To Rod Temperton Mix
It's hard to put into words the feeling you get when you listen to a Rod Temperton penned track. I'm a big sucker for well-written songs. Rod delivered stunning material for years and when Quincy Jones was brought Rod into the matrix we got nothing less than magic! Between Heatwave and the many...

Dj Spinna Journey Mix (End of Summer 2013/Labor Day Weekend)
I'm back! It's certainly been a while and many of you have been waiting for this. So many good jams out that I had a hard time picking what to include in this episode. Featured here are my current remixes for Sir LSG featuring Brian Temba and Kafele Bandele, and Shaun Escoffery, my decade long...

Dj Spinna Sade Mix
Made this mix a few years ago in honor of the sultry songstress Sade. I've been a fan ever since Smooth Operator dropped. I remember having a little crush on her watching her videos on Video Music Box, a legendary local New York video show that aired the best of rap, r&b, and dance videos. I got…

Happy Birthday Marvin Gaye Part Two.
Happy 76th Birthday Marvin Gaye! Here's the sequel to the Marvin B-Day mix I did two years ago. Sorry I took so long to get this done but I believe the length of this one will make up for lost time. This mix is almost two hours long and filled with burners. Classics, a few unheard remixes and...

Journey Mix (Early Summer 2011)
Sup Podcast peoples, Ok, so I took a little over a year to put another mix up. My bad. Just been busy djing, making records and being a family man. The life of a dj right? Ok, no extensive dialogue here. I'm just inspired with all this great new music out. I had to zone out and release it into…

Journey Sunday Sessions - All Vinyl Episode One
What's up fam, Sometimes it's hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that we're living in such a virtual world when it comes to music, especially new music. I don't want to believe that I'm just some kind of old school fool that can't get over my vinyl addiction. I have friends who downsized...

Happy Birthday Marvin Gaye Part One
Marvin Pentz Gaye Jr. (April 2, 1939 – April 1, 1984) The whole world knows that I'm a huge Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Prince buff. But the other beast of a soul artist that I love to death is Marvin Gaye, of course! His music deeply expresses the soul of a man. The most bewildering thing...

Dj Spinna Live at the Hudson Hotel 11-16-09
Here's a short 40 minute clip of me rocking at the New York Hudson Hotel for Giant Step. There was magic in the air that evening. Can't really explain it. I think it must have been the energy of the people that were there, most of them being familiar faces of the club scene from the past 3…

Journey XM radio show, 6/23/08
Here's hour one from my short lived XM radio show called Journey of 2008. The show only lasted for four months before the merging of XM and Sirius Satellite radio, which resulted in the dance channel 80 being dropped. Oh well, I guess underground house music is not regarded as a commercially…
