Don't Upset the Dialogue

A virtual roundtable discussion about how to reduce hate violence in various communities. The dialogue includes community leaders and local and national social activists and participants who are engaged in the efforts to combat hate violence. Dennis J. Freeman, the editor and publisher of News4usOnline and The Bulletin newspaper, leads the panel discussion that includes noted activist Najee Ali, Selwyn Jones, the uncle of George Floyd, Faith and Community Empowerment Founder and President/CEO Hyepin Im, and Pharaoh Mitchell of The Community Action League.

Randy Jeter currently stars in the U.S. national tour of Les Miserables. Jeter plays the character Bishop of Digne. Les Miserables has won eight Tony Awards and is considered one of the all-time great shows on Broadway. Bishop Digne is responsible for giving a convict, who serves 19 years in prison for stealing a half loaf of bread, an opportunity at redemption.

WAR lead singer Lonnie Jordan is still going strong. Journalist Dennis J Freeman goes one-on-one with Jordan, the frontman for WAR, which has produced mega-hits such as "Low Rider" "The World is a Ghetto," "Cisco Kid," and "Why Can't We Be Friends," and "Spill the Wine." During this near half-hour conversation, which was done during the summer of 2021, Jordan discusses with Freeman the longevity of the group, how WAR got started, and the band's legacy.
