Hey guys.  Here is one of the last episodes of the Dragon's Voice Podcast.  I have Newport County, Cardiff City and Wales legend, Nigel Vaughan who speaks with Rhys all the way from Houston, Texas.  Nigel speaks about his career especially reaching the Quarter Finals of the ECWC with Newport, playing against Brazil for Wales and so much more.

Episode 61 is here for you guys and on this episode, we have former Wales, Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Chelsea player, Peter Nicholas.    For the first time ever on the show, both Rhys and a guest actually sit down in the same room to talk.    Peter talks about his feelings towards the Cymru Premier and the current state of the league, his time as manager at Barry Town plus Llanelli Town.    He also talks about his career as a player too especially earning more than 70 caps and played in famous matches which included the 4-1 victory over England, the Scotland game where Jock Stein passed away, a draw against Brazil and many more.    Peter does not hold back and it was a huge pleasure to talk to Petr or Nicho as those close call him.

To celebrate reaching 60 episodes of the Dragon's Voice Podcast, we are excited to announce that we have Welsh football legend, Brian Flynn on the podcast to talk about his career and other stories and topics.    Brian Flynn is a former Leeds United, Burnley and Wales international who has also made a name for himself as a manager which included his time at Wrexham for over a decade, Swansea City, Wales U21 and even a brief stint as the Wales senior manager.    He also talks about his part in finding some of Wales' gifted talents which have gone onto to superstardom and the semi finals of the Euros.   I hope you enjoy it guys as it was a privilege to have Brian on the show.

Brand new episode for you as we have none other than Wrexham, Manchester United and Wales legend, Mickey Thomas.  Mickey and Rhys sit down over the phone and talk about the career of Mickey especially during his time playing for Wales under Mike England, playing in the FA Cup, Wrexham defeating Arsenal in the FA Cup and so much more.  I am glad we are back and we have more to give you.  Enjoy.

Wales U-21 manager, Paul Bodin joins us on the Dragon's Voice Podcast.  Rhys and Paul sit down to talk about Paul's current position as manager of Wales U21, how he develops his players, what his goals are and so on. He also talks about his playing career especially at Swindon Town where he played in the Premier League and alongside Glenn Hoddle and playing for Wales.  Yes, the penalty was mentioned.  Enjoy!

Former Cwmbran Town striker, Chris Summers finally joins Rhys in talking about his career and how he started with Cardiff City before going onto the likes of Inter Cardiff, Cwmbran Town, Barry Town, Merthyr Tydfil and more.  He talks about competing in European competition against Celtic, almost winning the Welsh Cup and playing for Cwmbran Town's legendary manager, Tony Wilcox. Episode 46 featured Bangor City legend, Michael Johnston.    Mike talks about his days playing for Bangor and finding success every step of the way. During his days at Bangor City, he has won the Welsh Cup multiple times, winning the Welsh Premier League and competing in the Europa League and Champions League.   He also talks about playing for other clubs including Llandudno and Caernarfon Town and even now playing for Bangor 1876.

Dragon's Voice Podcast returns after a long break. Episode 45 features current Bala Town goalkeeper, Alex Ramsay.    Alex talks about his days playing for the likes of TNS, Caersws, Rhyl, Caernarfon Town and Wales C squad.

Joining us on the Dragon's Voice Podcast is a former Welsh Premier League player, Darren Ryan.    Darren has played for various clubs but has made a name for himself when he played for Barry Town, TNS and Merthyr.    Darren has won the League of Wales title, Welsh Cup and has played in European competition.

He talks about his Wales call up and talks about his pranks and fallouts.   He also talks about playing under the likes of Gordon Strachan, Gary McAllister, Nigel Clough and Dean Saunders to becoming a manager himself.

Today we have former Cardiff City, Luton Town, Hereford United, Forest Green Rovers, Brighton, Charlton Athletic and Wales U21 striker, Stuart Fleetwood.    Stuart talks about his days playing for various clubs especially starting out for Cardiff City and then becoming a record goalscorer at various clubs.    He also talks about his current position in football and where he is now.

First guest of 2021, we have former Swansea City, Newport County and current Merthyr Town player, Kerry Morgan.   Kerry sits down with Rhys and talks about his career in playing for the Jacks, playing in the conference leagues with Newport and playing abroad in Sweden and Spain.   He also talks about playing for Neath and Port Talbot.

In the beginning, there was the end!    Rhys and Luke look back on Welsh football in 2020 and see how things have come around.    The boys talk from Wales national team to Ryan Giggs, Christian Doidge to Ceaig Bellamy, from Cardiff to the Welsh league. it is all here on the podcast.

A day before New Year's Day, we thought we should release the last podcast of 2020 before moving into the promise land of 2021.   This episode, we have Wrexham legend, Gareth Owen.  Gareth talks about his 12 year career at Wrexham and being part of some of the most historical matches at the Racecourse. Gareth talks about being part of the squad that famously defeated the mighty Arsenal in the FA Cup in 1992, playing against Manchester United in the European Cup Winners Cup and winning the Welsh Cup, FAW Premier Cup, promotions and competing with Cardiff City in many competitions.  Gareth also talks about playing under the great Brian Flynn and playing alongside some of Wales' biggest names including Michael Thomas, Joey Jones and Ian Rush.    Including in this podcast, we talk about the Wrexham takeover and his success in the Welsh Premier League with Rhyl.

In this short episode, on episode 34, we have a former player who has played in three different national leagues, won trophies and titles with various clubs, played for nearly 20 clubs and has played for Wales.  This is Andy Dibble. Andy is currently Cardiff City's goalkeeping coach. Andy talks about his days playing for Cardiff City, playing for Luton Town and winning the League Cup at Wembley against Arsenal especially getting Man of the Match, playing for Man City and was given the Baptism of Fire when joining Rangers and having his first game be the Old Firm Derby. Andy is now the goalkeeping coach at Cardiff City. 

Rhys and Luke reunite to sit down once again and talk about one of the most controversial era's in Welsh football history.    The Bobby Gould Era has seen some moments where controversial becomes bizarre.  From training at Usk Prison to The Fight Circle, from falling out with players to bizarre decisions, from losing 2-1 to Leyton Orient to losing 7-1 at Eindhoven, the boys go into detail of how it began and how it ended.

Rhys is joined by former Watford, Huddersfield Town, Leicester City, Norwich City and Wales international, Iwan Roberts.  Iwan talks about his career playing for Graham Taylor, scoring against Manchester United, becoming a Norwich City legend and playing for Wales against Argentina. 

Episode 31 is here for you guys and this time we have former Cardiff City player, Lee Badeley.    Lee has played for Cardiff City, Exeter City and Merthyr Tydfil before retiring due to injury.    Lee talks about his days playing for the Bluebirds especially finding achievements in winning the Third Division and Weleh Cup. He also talks about competing in the European Cup Winners Cup and competing against Standard Liege and even being part of the team that beat Man City in the FA Cup in 1993.   He talks about many people including playing alongside the likes of Robbie James, Kevin Ratcliffe and more.    For anyone who is a die hard Cardiff City supporter, this one is for you

On this episode, we have former Wrexham, Bala Town, Darlington and Wales U21 player, Ryan Valentine on the show.    Ryan is now a coach at Bala Town and has had a fantastic career and has been part of many moment including the Wrexham 3-1 Boston United match that kept Wrexham up.    He was also called for the Wales senior squad, despite not earning a cap, he does share some fantastic memories.

Dragon's Voice Podcast episode 27 is here featuring former Swansea City, Llanelli and Wales International player, Andrew Mumford.   Andrew speaks with Rhys to talk about his career in playing for the Swans especially finding success with the club and also finding success with Llanelli especially winning the Welsh Premier League and competing in Europe plus more. He talks about the managers he worked under including Leighton James; Mark Hughes and Brian Flynn.   He also talks about how he got the call up to come and play for his national side during a USA Tour.

Nicky John is our first female guest on the show and she has many stories to tell.    Nicky talks about her experience and career so far with Sgorio, working with the likes of John Hartson, Owain Tudor Jones, Dai Davies and interviewing the likes of Ryan Giggs, Gareth Bale, Ben Davies and many more.    She tells us her stories on what was the best match she saw or she called and what stood out for her in her career.   Nicky also talks about Euro 2016, her friendship with former Wales international, Iwan Roberts and what is she looking to do in the future.

Episode 25 brings you a short episode and this time we have a guest all the way from Canada.  Shaun Pejic is a former Wrexham player who also played for Wales U21.    Shaun talks about his time playing in Wrexham and also playing in the USA and Canada. Episode 24 of Dragons Voice Podcast brings you an episode from across the pond from Oklahoma.  On the show, we have Oklahoma Energy FC midfielder, Jonathan Brown.    Jon is a Bridgend lad who started his career with Cardiff City before playing for the likes of Wrexham, Bryntirion Athletic, Hereford United and many more.    He also talks about playing for various clubs across the world including playing in Australia, Thailand, Belgium, Bangladesh and many more.  He has also played for the Wales U21 side including the U19 and U17 alongside the likes of Chris Gunter, Aaron Ramsey, Gareth Bale and more.

(Apologies for lack of signal during some parts of the podcast)   For this episode, Dragons Voice Podcast brings you another special guest to the podcast who has played at Welsh League, Football League and International level.   Steve Evans is a current assistant manager at The New Saints FC.  He is a former player at the the club, originally called Total Network Solutions FC, and he spent 6 years at the club before moving to Wrexham where during his time at his local club, he got a call up to play for Wales under John Toshack. He has earned 7 caps for Wales and has also become the first non-league player to play for Wales.  After 2009, he has since returned to Oswestry and stayed with TNS and is a club legend.  Steve has also played for Oswestry Town and Connah's Quay on loan.  He has won countless title and trophies for TNS, become one of many players that came from the Welsh League that have gone onto play for Wales.

Episode 22 has former Shrewsbury Town, Brentford, Blackpool, Bradford City, Nottingham Forest and Wales international, Paul Evans as guest on the show.    Paul talks about his career and how he want on to become a popular figure at Brentford FC, getting called up to play for Wales especially talking about Mark Hughes and Gary Speed.   He also talks about his time at Nottingham Forest, playing with so many popular and having a falling out with one of the managers. 

This is a special episode where it was a podcast recording during a time when Rhys was host of another podcast called The Yellow & Blue Army Podcast which was all to do with Barry Town United FC.  Rhys sits down with Barry Town striker, Kayne McLaggon to talk about Kayne's career and time at Southampton FC, having a trial at Leeds United and playing at Merthyr Town before coming to Barry Town. 

Rhys is joined by a new co-host of the podcast. Luke Williams makes his first ever appearance as the two of the hosts talk about politics in football especially in Wales.  Not only that, the two talk about Welsh clubs playing in European competition. 

Former Wrexham and Liverpool player, Lee Jones joins Rhys on the Dragon's Voice Podcast.  Lee talks about playing for his hometown club of Wrexham especially under the legendary manager, Brian Flynn. He talks about playing alongside legendary names such as Mickey Thomas and Joey Jones.  Lee also talks about his Wales international appearances with one of them being the infamous Holland 7-1 Wales result.  He also talks about his time at Liverpool before going onto play for Barnsley and Tranmere Rovers before going back to Wrexham and then going onto play in the Welsh League. 

James Leighton joins Rhys on the podcast to talk about his stories as a Cardiff City supporter and his career as an author especially writing an autobiography about Fred Keenor. 

Andy Legg joins the podcast for this episode.  Leggy talks about his career and making a name for himself at Swansea City and Cardiff City. Winning the Welsh Cup, FAW Premier Cup and promotions with both clubs.  He talks about playing for Notts County and making the cover of FIFA 96, playing for Birmingham City and Reading.  Leggy also talks about his career at Llanelli as a player and as a manager. 

Rhys and James sit down and talk about Gareth Bale at Real Madrid, Aaron Ramsey at Juventus and the story behind the South Wales Derby. 

Our guest for episode 15 is former Wales-U21 international Jake Charles who is the grandson of one of Wales greatest players of all time, John Charles.  Jake talks about his earliest memories of his grandfather, his career so far and what his ambitions are for the future. 

Our guest on Dragon's Voice Podcast is Welsh Premier League legend, Rhys Griffiths. Rhys has made a name for himself in the Welsh Premier League by being a top goal scorer and player of the season multiple times. He has also won the Welsh Premier League with Llanelli and has also played for the likes of Cwmbran Town, Haverfordwest County and Port Talbot Town.  He also talks about how he nearly signed for Swiss side, FC Basel and going onto play for Plymouth Argyle and Newport County.  He is currently manager of Welsh Premier League side, Penybont FC.
