Drunk On Comics

There's a lot to discuss in this episode of Drunk on Comics.   There are many trailers out for some upcoming media that are taking chances on some characters you wouldn't guess being the main characters.   The drunken duo also share their hesitation of what marvel is doing, but are loving anything James Gunn is part of.  And they end the show with some auction items and the high price of owning some comic book history.  All this and more for your listening pleasure from the D.O.C. crew.

The talk of the town (and internet) is all about the new Spider-man trailer.   It looks great!  Tony and Linz discuss this as well as some Avengers vs Dune news.    They also get into a few things they are loving as well as the fastest approved season 2 of a Marvel show.  All this in the latest installment of Drunk on Comics

This one is a bit late posting and another dollar short.   But some great discussions like always with the Drunken Duo.   Tony had a great review of a crossover he didn't know he needed with DC X AEW #1.  He also loved the setting and visuals of D'ork #1.   Then linz and Tony got into some news.   But give it a listen to hear more of what they got up to.

It's Groundhogs day....Again.  Plus its another episode of Drunk on Comics Podcast.   Like always, we have a lot to unpack in recent news involving comic books and all things pop culture.  Give it a listen, or many, depending how long we are in this time loop.  

It's a new year, and Drunk on Comics plans on continuing this fun show for many more to come.  And like every new year, Tony turned another year older.   But he comes with more bookshe has read over his winter break, coming to agree with the majority of people on the recent X-men event.  The duo also discussed some things you need to watch, as well as endings that were meh.   All this and more in this installment of Drunk on Comics.

This was a tough one to record since Tony was being extra Tony with his words today.  Linz also factored into that as well. But besides the lack of pronunciation, the duo has a lot fo discuss this week.  Tony came with some thoughts on the Ultimates comics.  He also loved the Batman Deadpool book that he also reviewed.   All this and so much more in this episode of Drunk on Comics.

Another week down in the school year, another 2 weeks of news and notes of all things nerdy with Drunk on Comics.  (although as of this posting, it has been more than 1 week into the semester. ). 

Tony and Linz don't have any reviews this week again.  Life keeps getting in the way of a good story,  But there is a lot of fun coming down the comic book pipeline.   Tony is looking forward to the D.C.KO event.  The line up isinteresting, and could make for some great discussions.  Plus lots more from the nerd-0-sphere in this weeks episode of Drunk on Comics.

Lots of people are shedding their mortal coil and leaving behind their legacy across many genres this past week.  Tony had to break the news to Linz while recording of Ozzy Osbourne's.  The music scene has lost a legend.  The duo didn't review any books this past week, but they did both see Superman, which they did a very good spoiler free review of the movie.  It really is worth the price of admission to see a beautiful comic-book movie that gives hope.  All this and more in this weeks episode of Drunk on Comics

It's half-way through summer, and the gang of Drunk on Comics is definitely enjoying it.  Except for the heat.  It's so hot.....  But one again Linz and Tony come bringing more news of the comic book industry and reviews of books you should check out.

Drunk on Comics has always been a split between news, hot takes and comic reviews.  The comic reviews have been mostly coming from Tony lately.  But this week, Linz has come into the studio with some books you all should check out.  Along with that, some industry news for you all to keep up on with this episode of Drunk on Comics.

It's summertime, and the Drunk on Comics duo are enjoying the good weather.  They are also looking into all the news of the comic book industry to bring to your earbuds.  Tony need to note, that he started off this episode with some WWE news about R-Truth being released, but as of this publishing, he has since been resigned.  It probably wont be the end to the wrestling drama, but it is good to hear some good news coming out of the squared circle.  

Lots of nerd news and a few comic reviews.  Tony also saw Thunderbolts, and thinks it is one of Marvel's best movies in years.  All this and more in this weeks episode of Drunk on Comics.

The Drunk on Comics duo had life come up and were missing from the microphones the past month, but they have another great episode for this week.  Tony explored a bunch of comics, particularly books surrounding Spawn.  He has come in and out of that universe multiple times, but after the last couple of issues, is fully on board with reading more story arcs within.   He may not know all the lore, but the art and pacing of these issues has solidified his love of the characters.  They also talked Fantastic Four, Gargoyles, Alien and Predator franchise and what is in store for them.  All this and more in this edition of the Drunk on Comics podcast. 

Lots to love about this episode of Drunk on Comics.  It's April Fools Day when it was recorded, which although in the internet age it is harder to pull pranks, Tony remembers some of his best he has pulled.  He is also on a whirlwind of reading comics lately, bringing a brief overview of a ton of great stories to pick up at your local comic shop.  All this and more in this week's Drunk on Comics podcast.

It's cold in the midwest.   The last few winters have been duds, but this year feels a bit more like it used to be.  So Linz and Tony hunker down to record another episode of the show with a bit of warmth in their tum tums from some nice whiskey.  With Doom on the horizon for Marvel, Tony speaks a bit about what he is excited about with the newest crossover event coming soon.    Plus thoughts on infinity stones, Simpsons, Spider-man and Godzilla.  

It's a new year and another celebration of Tony getting older.  The fun and drunk duo are back for another year of fun.  In this episode, they start off talking about the wildfires in LA.  Then they get into some heavy stuff surrounding Neil Gaiman.  We are disgusted and if you want to skip past that go to the 35 minute mark.   But a few great books are reviewed and much excitement for the coming year.

Linz and Tony bring good tidings and cheer through the holidays, but also this episode of the show.  Once again, they watched the worst superhero movie that came out this past year so that you don't have to.  And seriously, you shouldn't even want to warch it.Joining them in his yearly appearance to the show is Josh, to share in the shared misery  The 3 nerds had much to unpack from this incredibly terrible train wreck.  But give this episode a listen to the worst Sony superhero movie.... so far.

As the title states, we give our thoughts on the new Wolverine movie co-starring Ryan Reynolds.  Most everyone has seen it once or thrice by now, but if you haven't, you are missing out an a fun and even more funny movie.The group also got into a discussion about RDJ coming back.  Not too happy with that casting, and if Marvel thinks bringing in stars will help the MCU, they are sadly mistaken.  But all that and a whole lot more in this episode of Drunk on Comics

Happy late birthay Linz.   As everyone involved with Drunk on Comics knows of your birthday, they want to make sure the rest of the world knows as well.   And the group also wants you to know about what the comic book industry has been up to lately.  So they shared their thoughts on some of the books recently on store shelves and nerdy movie news.   Lots more info coming out of SDCC at the end of the month, but until then, tune in to D.O.C. for comic book news. 

In a Drunk on Comics first, Studio A is clean.  And not only clean, given much more room for Linz and Tony to conduct business.  Business this week had Linz in rare form bring not only a comic to review, but some topics for the duo to discuss.   Lots of thoughts on recent trailers or comic-based TV shows that the goup enjoys.  But you will have to give this episode a listen to get their recommendations.

Drunk on Comics is updating a few things on the interwebs.  Thanks to Josh, we now have a new web hosting site that will make uploading and streaming much easier. to consume.   But Linz and Tony aren't changing anything about the laissez faire format of the show.  Same interesting takes along with comic book reviews in every episode.   Enjoy the new era of Drunk on Comics.
