Duval Folx is an extention of the BIPOC Queer Inclusive dance party. This dance party started as a direct response to Jacksonville in 2018 at the time being a focal point for Black, Trans and GNC violence.This moment called for more than just a dance space in the south. I wanted to curate a brave and secure ecosystem for Black, POC, Trans, and GNC folx through dance music. I want to use this podcast to highlight artists and movement work to show connectivity to creating a braver world through music from Duval and beyond!
