Eat the TV Podcast

Three friends dig into their favorite shows! Join us monthly as we discuss and probably go on a lot of tangents about the midwest, art school, punk rock, fanfiction, and a lot...like a lot more

Ep13 You Can’t Be Good at Kazoo

We’re back! We got a new show (Mission Hill!) and a new theme song (sorry not sorry). Cartoonist representation/gay representation, “Are you a Popeye?”, mesmerized by the waterbed from ‘A Goofy Movie’, Andy and the dog have evil auras, Plain Cuss is a good band name, Cole doesn’t get ska, and continuing our tradition of describing a dance in an audio-only medium :) Thanks to Cole for recording and editing, kazoos, and food! Thanks also to Julia for food and letting us record in your house!

  2. 3

    Ep12 Gonkin' Good Season Finale

It's the last episode of The Young Ones! All 4 of the boys have a very bad time, feelings about ants, hulks and gonks, secret plant boi Vyv, fake games, Rivyan confirmation (basically...), the sound of the tubes, nasty Narcissus, and taking the freedom bus to good time city! The boys all survive, and you can't convince me otherwise. Thank you so much to all of our listeners!!! This has been an absolute blast, and we hope you'll stick with us as we continue to discuss (and veer off topic from) our favorite tv shows. We're gonna take a short winter/holiday break, and we'll be back in January 2019. Next up is Mission Hill!

  3. 2

    Bonus ep1!

Surprise! Its a bonus episode of Eat the TV! This was recorded back in spring, when we thought Cole was just gonna be a special guest, lol. Cole hosts a fake game show called 'Is It Punk?', Luna should probably re-read up on some history, Alex has family memories, and more!

  4. 1

Ep 11 Bogey Bottom and the Boys

Producer Max names an episode! Alex is gone for this one, so our inner goblins and demons have free reign! Mwuahahahaah!!!! Also: blood harmony, slime time, the cute bunny-man, King McVyvyan, dnd classes/alignment, and good band names for snails! This episode is a little on the short side, so we'll be posting that long-awaited bonus episode sometime this week! Thanks as always to producer Max, and Ben Tye from Ungrateful Little String Band for our intro and outtro!
