Everyone seems to have their own version of Jesus, but are we willing to follow Jesus... the Messiah

As we got ready to kick off our Vacation Bible School this year, Chris shares a message about the importance of wanting our Kids to love God, Love others, and love their church!

We need to be intentional about celebrating what God has done and is doing in our lives.

As our Young Adult Community celebrates 10 years, Stephen Walker shares a message on the importance of being a part of a spiritual community.

Followers of Jesus are called to follow together.

It is okay to admit we need help. Staying connected to Jesus helps us not have to do life on our own.

Jesus said, "I am the True Vine". On Easter Sunday we continue to talk about being connected to the Vine and how that shapes our lives.

The acknowledgement that the Spirit of God dwells in you is the acknowledgement that you, by yourself, can do nothing.

The gardeners goal is to help the vines grow strong and stay connected to the branch.

Stay connected. You are the branch, and the branch's most important job is to stay connected to the Vine.

Our responsibility is Jesus sharing, not nation building.

Stephen walks us through the importance of slowing down and recovering the rest God has given us.

As we get to the end of Jacob's story, we are reminded that each of us can "finish well" as we put our hopes in God.

It becomes impossible to tell your story without telling God's story

The importance of learning to slow down to enjoy the things of God.

Usefulness in the kingdom is not measured by the scale of the service but by the willingness to serve.

This week we look at Jacob's grief as he finds out about the apparent death of his son Joseph and how that impacts our connection to God. When facing grief, we need tears, we need time, and we need truth.

Jacob's story is a reminder that God's blessings are rooted in His mercy not our merit.

On the first Sunday of 2026, we are minded that a new year comes with great promise, but can also remind of last years failures. So a we start a new year, it is important to remember that God is with in the good and bad, and that This Year He goes on the journey with us.

Marlon Grande, our Hispanic minister shares some encouragement as we enter the new year to help us grow in our faith.

Jesus, coming to Earth as a baby reminds us that he embraced helplessness with the expectation that the church would embrace the helpless.

Ostranenie [os-strah-nuh-nee] is the literary device used to help the reader see familiar things in a new way. In the first lesson of this holiday series, Chris begins to look at the Christmas story in a new way through the book of Mark.

In Heaven there will be No More death. Their will be no more separation from God. Chris wraps us this mini-series focused on being near to God.

As Paul said, "There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus". So stop condemning yourself! Be thankful for nothing.

Turning our attention to God is the essence of worship. We find ourselves most fully alive when we turn our hearts to desiring God.

We must be willing to develop a whatever it takes mindset in order to foster a desire for God in the hearts of the next generation.

Jesus believed that ordinary people, just like you and me, can be agents of God's healing work in the world.

Your calling from the Lord is an invitation to serve right now where you are.

Our households can learn to build homemade houses of God by the small everyday acts that we do together. Learning, praying, eating, forgiving, working, and loving.

Families are formed not just by blood but by habits, rituals, and love shared. In Christ, God has welcomed us into a new family—the Body of Christ. How are our households telling the story of God, and helping us be more connected to the Body of Christ.

Each week we gather to tell the story of God. By engaging in God focused rhythms we are able to refocus our heart on Him.

Christian worship should tell a story. Our communal worship tells the story that is not just heard but experienced.

When we meet together... God is present and God is Active!

We must be willing to relearn what we should desire. Reorientation does not take place in isolation, we relearn to train our hearts towards God in community.

Church is not a brand, Church is a Body.

We could be worship other god's and not even know it.

We are wired to worship, and we worship what we love. This week, Chris examines what it means to "worship" and are we truly worshiping what we say we love.

Our hearts are made for love. And our love is meant for God.

During this special service, we took time to focus on the connection between mind, body, and soul. Licensed Counselor, Jason Brazier from Greater Chattanooga Christian Services, share the stage with Chris to begin a dialogue on our mental health and our spiritual journey.

As we finish up our Summer series on the fruits of the Spirit, Chris takes a look at the last fruit, Self-Control, and as we walk in the Spirit, we turn our self "self" control over to God.

Ultimately our relationship with God depends on His faithfulness more than ours. "God's Got This!"

Stephen Walker & Scott Self discuss the future of our Adult Education at EB by focusing on "who" we desire (Jesus) over just gaining knowledge.

Kindness, in biblical terms, is both pleasant and practical. It is doing something good that is needed in the moment.
