El 18 de junio de 1966 nacía John Michael Dexter Romweber II. Dex Romweber abandonó este mundo en febrero de 2024.En el día en que cumpliría 60 años celebramos el legado de uno de los artistas más genuinos y cautivadores en el underground de las últimas cuatro décadas. En junio de 1976 se lanzó el cuarto álbum de los Flamin’ Groovies, que también fue el primero de la segunda etapa de esta banda con dos historias bien diferenciadas. “Shake some action” marcó un nuevo rumbo para el grupo californiano, con el fundador Cyril Jordan convertido en capitán y un joven Chris Wilson incorporado como segundo de a bordo. Juntos dieron forma a un fantástico trabajo, álbum pionero del power pop. T.N.T. fueron los grandes pioneros del punk granadino y una de las primeras bandas del género que sacaron un álbum. “Manifiesto Guernika” se lanzó en 1983 con el sello Dro y ahora acaba de ser reeditado por la casa Beat Generation. A pesar de que la banda quedó muy descontenta con la grabación este trabajo permanece como uno de los más notables de su tiempo.
