Enjoy and Bless: Reflections on Unschooling as a Follower of Jesus

We’re still figuring out our new rhythm after bringing our son home from his micro-school. We’re navigating the complexity of different needs and different learning styles on our shared journey through life without school.

Choosing an unschooling path is often the outworking of three foundational beliefs about humans and learning: we are designed to learn, we are always learning, and we are all unique.

Thinking about how a sustainable pace allows us to enjoy every day instead of living for the weekend or counting down to the next “break”

Reflecting on my responsibilities as a parent to provide for our children, to protect them, and to prepare them for independence and contributing to society

Our family is fairly new to unschooling. I hoped to find a podcast where I could hear from other Christian families who are choosing an unschooling path. I found a few long episodes but wanted something more bite-sized to encourage me when those inevitable doubts arise. I couldn’t find one, and I felt an invitation to create the podcast I was looking for. So here I am! Thanks for listening!
