The end of an Episode, the end of an era?
Last time on Error Code Blueberry, we were addressing the latest round of layoffs at Bungie. Between still feeling pretty bummed about that situation and our respective lives getting a bit busy, we've been feeling less pull towards Destiny and by extension, making this show. We've always talked...
-
Episode 99: Hundreds of people have lost their jobs. This truly sucks.
You already know what it is. Last week, the news of more layoffs at Bungie landed on the day we would typically record this show. There was no world in which we would feel comfortable trying to say anything publicly until more information had come to light about the situation. A week later, we've...
-
Episode 98: Putting a frog in Destiny will be the death of us all
Like any good three-act structure, we're in the middle of things now, at the point where all the emotions and heartstrings get pulled on. Saint and Osiris are still going through it. Failsafe is cooking up all sorts of schemes. And now we get a cool new frog friend? It's a bit of a rollercoaster...

Episode 97: Bungie really do be listening with these updates
Here, right before the second act of Echoes drops on us, we've got a whole slate of previews straight from Bungie themselves. A new developer livestream during the week brought us juicy details about the upcoming content, changes to story delivery in Episode: Revenant, and a look at some armour...
-
Episode 96: wake up babe, new Destiny Proper Noun just dropped
We're playing a little catch-up this week with the final week of Act I of Echoes, in which we got an ominous new name drop with The Conductor. Who or what is that? What are they doing with the Vex on Nessus? What's their whole deal? We've got some thoughts about that, as well as what's going on...
-
Episode 95: Failsafe is in need of assistance, Guardian
We're back into the regular rhythm of weekly story updates now, with week 2 of Act I of Echoes bringing a heap more Failsafe into our lives. We're not really sure what the Vex are up to yet, but we're having a blast hanging out with this unhinged AI in the meantime. We also tried our hands at the...
-
Episode 94: We Are Deeply Affected
And now, we behold the true ending of the Light and Darkness Saga of Destiny 2. 10 years of story have finally reached an ending and it is one that hit us like a truck. Find out how we're feeling after all of that and what we now know about what's to come in this episode! Video version available…

Episode 93: It's Time To Cry About Destiny
We're here, at the end of it all. Or rather, just about at the end of it all. We've played through the campaign of The Final Shape, dabbled in some post-campaign business, and we're here to give you a lot of thoughts about it - aka this is a long episode. Video version available at...
-
Episode 92: The Final Episode (before The Final Shape)
Here it is. The last episode of Error Code Blueberry before we FINALLY reach The Final Shape. There's a spicy little launch trailer for us to dissect this week and we've got more of our emotions to try and parse and grapple with as we count down the days until the end. Video version available at...

If you somehow weren't aware that The Final Shape is almost upon us, the utter barrage of updates out of Bungie regarding what's coming this week should signal its imminent arrival. We've got the usual TWID dropping in with some interesting quest system changes, plus a couple of more crunchy...

-
Episode 89: Let's Bully Some Hunters
It's storied ECB lore at this point that we like to dunk on Hunters, none more so than Cayde-6 himself. With the impending reintroduction of Cayde to the world of Destiny, we've had a lot more reason to throw a bit of friendly bullying their way. This episode, we're spending a bit of time truly...
-
Episode 88: Superblack And Other Spicy Drops
We are truly in an era of Destiny 2 where old things are new again. In the same week that players can once again attain the Superblack shader, we got some surprising updates regarding legacy gear that a lot of people put in the bin. I won't spoil the details for you in this description box, so...

Episode 85: Okay, Great
Alright, we legitimately tried to record in person last week, but we were too tired and full of tacos, so we're back this week to recap the first 2 out of 3 planned Bungie livestreams detailing what's coming soon with Into The Light! We also have stories about hanging out in person. This Into The...
-
Episode 84: Hullabalooza
Another week of Guardian Games down, another week of hoarding Hullabaloos and me struggling to type Hullabaloo correctly the first time. We're reminded this week that "Into The Light" is what's coming soon to fill the months of April and May, in the lead up to The Final Shape's release in early...

Episode 83: Back From The Wilderness
After a couple of weeks away exploring some mountains and lakes of Aotearoa New Zealand, chillybin has returned to catch up on what he's missed in the world of Destiny, and there might actually be things to get caught up on? We've got the latest iteration of Guardian Games upon us this week…

Episode 82: What Are We Wishing For?
We've reached the halfway point with Riven's Wishes and we're nearing the end for Moments of Triumph. We've done...some of it? Most of it? Your mileage may vary, especially if you're trying to get specific Altars of Summoning runs together for one triumph like Meckii. Tune in and hear all about...
-
Episode 81: The Final Shape of Joe Blackburn
We're well and truly into the first parts of what will fill our time before The Final Shape eventually launches and we've actually done some of it! Mostly Moments of Triumph, but some progress has been made towards granting Riven's Wishes (or are we making the wishes? I'm not sure). We also...

Episode 80: Something Strange Growing In Your (Black) Garden
Oh my god, that's the Ishtar Collective's music! The strange organisation that only shows up in mysterious ways has once again shown up in a mysterious way, and we're still scratching our heads about what's going on there. Speaking of scratching our heads: we now know a little more about what…

Ok, look, it's been a bit of a time for us. Between holidays and some more personal stuff popping up in recent weeks, we've missed a couple. Episode 76: I Wish I Was A Witch
Here we are at the end of Season of the Witch. It's been spooky, it's been magical, it's had a deck of cards, and it's been a blast. We do a little look back at the season that was, a look forward to the season that will be, and a quick assessment of some build-breaking sandbox updates. Let's…

Episode 75: The One After The Dust Settles
Obviously, we're gonna talk about the layoffs at Bungie in this one. We took a break last week to give the news time to develop, as it all came out pretty close to when we usually record this show. We've got some thoughts, mostly on how people are reacting to the information and what we should be...
-
Episode 74: It's Been One Month
So our "week or two off for PAX" turned into about a month due to some other life things and illness popping in up as well, but here we are again to talk about the ending of the Season of the Witch, Festival of the Lost, some very tasty-looking updates coming down the pipe for next season, and a...
-
Episode 73: Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Imbaru!
It's not a Subaru, nor is it Immaru - this week we discovered The Imbaru Engine and more of Savathun's trickery. We're here to question a lot of what we found out, how much of it is real, and how it ties back to lore items from 5 years ago. I love lore. Video version available at...

Episode 72: The House That Swallowed The Keys
Hello there! Season of the Witch is in full swing now, with Spires and tithes and decks of cards everywhere. We've got a few progress updates on various things we're working through this season, and a hot report out of our first run through the new Crota's End reprised raid. Please enjoy this...

Welcome back to you (and to us) to Error Code Blueberry! We unexpectedly needed a few weeks off, between one of us moving house and various other life things going on for both of us, but we are BACK this week with not one, but TWO videos. Earlier in the week, we put up a reaction video for the...
-
Episode 70: Put This Fire With the Other Fire
The excitement of getting to the funny number episode last time got to us so we needed a couple of weeks to recover (not really we just got sick and/or busy, don't @ me) It's Solstice season once again in Destiny 2 and we're here to talk about bonfires and how to light them. We've got hot tips on...
-
Episode 69: We Finally Made It
Here we are: it's time for the sex number episode. It's truly a momentous occasion for everyone involved. Shoutout to fine diners everywhere. This week, we have the end of this season's story to wrap up (after missing it last week), as well as more tales from the fishing ponds. Speculation? Lore?...
-
Episode 68: Sloane and the Long Girl
Hey, we're back! One week off for travel turned into two, due to coming home sick. Never mind all that though as it gave us time to bank up some decently rich story beats to discuss for your entertainment on this episode. There are some big revelations happening, some pins on a corkboard starting...
-
Episode 67: A Whole New Kettle Of Fish
Before the show, we were both like "yeah, there's not heaps to talk about this week", before laying down a runtime longer than an hour again somehow. While the seasonal story stuff this may have felt a little light on, we dove deep into the new dungeon and have plenty to talk about on that front....
-
Episode 66: Deeper Than Da Ocean
We're in for it now, Guardians. Season of the Deep has arrived in Destiny 2, and with it is a whole lot of wet and spooky new things to discover. There's a giant whale-lookin' thing? We also catch up on the end of the last season and Guardian Games, a bunch of pretty damn exciting announcements…

-
Episode 62: Tony Stark, Iron Lad
I don't know about you friends, but things are a bit all over the place lately. As far as that extends to Destiny, we've been getting up to bits and pieces of everything to fill in the classic mid-season dip now that the story content is wrapped up for the time being. We've got a bit of an Iron...
-
Episode 61: Milk Snakes
We've hit a little bit of a quiet period when it comes to Destiny story at the moment, so you know what that means: we are fully on one for this episode. There's some talk about Lightfall feedback that mostly devolves into telling off chuds on the internet, then some talk about the fancy new Vex...
-
Episode 60: Destiny Orb Z
This week, there's a little more tribute time for Lance Reddick and those we've also lost recently from the world of Destiny. We also talk a bunch about a certain blue-eyed Harpy and the man in the machine, as well as some really wholesome content from various parts of the Destiny community....
-
Episode 59: An Unexpected Farewell
This week on Error Code Blueberry, we begin by paying a small tribute to Lance Reddick, voice actor for Commander Zavala (among many other things), who sadly passed away not long after we recorded our last episode. Following that, it's onto this week's Destiny story stuff, which similarly tugs on...
-
Episode 58: Kicking It Back
Quick disclaimer: we recorded and edited this episode prior to the tragic news of the passing of Lance Reddick, voice actor for Commander Zavala. As such, there won't be anything in here about that, but we'll be sure to pay our respects on the next instalment of Error Code Blueberry. After…

Episode 57: Little Green Freaks
Well, Guardians, Lightfall is finally upon us. Even though we recorded this one day after the release date, we've both managed to complete the Lightfall campaign, so SPOILER WARNING for this episode. We're going to discuss the story, some of the lore we've discovered along the way, and a taste of...
-
Episode 56: This Light About To Fall
Australia's internet means we're getting to this later than usual, but hey, we're all too busy preparing for Lightfall anyway to notice, right? We've still got a bunch of Bungie releases to drill into, some sick trailers and things to pore over, and a whole lot of excitement! Video version...
-
Episode 55 - A5 Wagyu Lore
Well hot damn, a new look thumbnail and a stack of juicy Destiny info to trawl through! It's a slightly longer one from us, and most of that time is spent gushing over the season finale mission that dropped this week. We have a lot of feelings about this one! There's also been a handful of meaty...
-
Episode 54: A Slow News Week
Ok, look, neither of us have played much Destiny in the last week or so. At the same time, there hasn't been a whole lot in the game to keep up with now that the seasonal story is basically done. But never fear, ECB fans, for there has been plenty of moving and shaking outside of the game to stay...
-
Episode 53: The Big Guns Are Coming
Well, what a week this was for Destiny updates! For starters, which the thumbnail will have absolutely given away, one of us has a big, new Destiny toy. Then, we've got a surprising and large update from Bungie about the future of buildcrafting that's coming about with Lightfall to dig into. That...
-
Episode 52: Enriching our Enclosures in 2023
Hey, uh, it's been too long! We were prepared to miss a week here or there over the holiday break, but what we weren't prepared for was one of our PCs seemingly calling time on being a PC, thus making it impossible to play Destiny or record us talking about it. Don't fret though, that's all…

Episode 51: Raspoutine
Good thing we (without meaning to) skipped a week, because here we are with a new season! We're reuniting with gay space dads, robot space dads, bad space grandfathers, and all sorts of cool-as-shit weapons and armour. Season of the Seraph kicks ass! Video version available at...
