Atlantic Dub aka Pálmester: HUN: "Borsodi betyárként szerencsére nagyon korán megismerkedtem az underground zenékkel, először 1996-ban voltam acid buliban. Első körben az acid/goatrance es a deep techno, dub techno fogott meg, 1998 óta szenvedélyesen gyűjtöm a zenéket. 2001-től vagyok lemezlovász. Sokáig gyűjtöttem bakeliteket is, amiktől pár éve megváltam. Eredeti szakmám villamosmérnök, de utána nem sokkal elvégeztem a hangmérnöki iskolát is. Szenvedélyesen szeretem a hangtechnikai kütyüket, keverőket, erősítőket, hangfalakat, szoktam ezeket javítani és építeni is. DJ-ként sok helyen zenéltem, főként mikor még Budapesten éltem. 2013-tól Tenerifén élek és itt viszem tovább az underground kultúrát, általában kéthetente csinálunk itt valamiféle bulit. Sokszor a chill out stage összerakásában, managelésében tevékenykedem a mai napig, ahol természetesen helyet kap a dubtechno is. Ez a mix a privát kis titkos helyemen lett rögzítve, az elmúlt két évben nem igazán lehettek nagyobb bulik - sőt inkább semmilyenek sem errefelé." ENG: Ferenc Szanati is one of the most dedicated DJs on the Hungarian dubtechno scene, with selections characterized by timeless, deep, and hypnotic qualities. You can catch him on radio shows, in clubs, and at festivals. In addition to music, sound quality is also important to him, so that the music always sounds as good as possible on different systems, which is why he prefers vinyl. In 2007, he won a DJ competition on Justmusic.FM radio. HUN: Már gyermekként, édesapja kazettás magnó deckje előtt ülve is elvarázsolta a zenehallgatás élménye, és az analóg kivezérlés jelző tánca. Évekig tartó útkeresés után érkezett meg abba a zenei világba, amelyben végre otthon érezte magát. E világ része a dub techno is. Szettjeiben szívesen ötvözi ezt a stílust minimal, de akár tech house zenékkel is. Mint afféle analóg bosszúálló, zenét legszívesebben ma is kazettáról, bakelitről hallgat, a DJ pultban pedig szintén a jó öreg fekete lemezre esküszik. ENG: Even as a child, sitting in front of his father's cassette deck, he was enchanted by the experience of listening to music and the dance of the analog control signal. After years of searching, he arrived at the musical world where he finally felt at home. Dub techno is also part of this world. Konomo: HUN: Konomo: 2021-ben nevet váltott, hogy az addig megszerzett tapasztalatok alapján újra definiálhassa önmagát és a hangzását, igazodva a kor szelleméhez. Biar: HUN: 1994-ben került kapcsolatba az elektronikus zenei színtérrel, kezdetben a gyorsabb és keményebb hangzások — hardcore techno és hard trance — vonzották. A ’90-es évek második felében egy teljesen új underground világot fedezett fel különleges klubokkal és ikonikus szabadtéri bulikkal, mint a törökbálinti katlan vagy a frankhegyi partik. 2000-ben Skizzel közösen szervezte meg első saját eseményét, ami elindította lemezgyűjtői pályáját is. 2004-ben megalapították a Deepimpression formációt, amely hamar ismertté vált családias hangulatú, néhány száz fős eseményeiről. Korai hangzásvilágát a progressive house, breakbeat elemek és sok-sok deep house jellemezte. Sokáig vegyesen játszott CD-ről és bakelitről, de az elmúlt években kizárólag a vinylezés mellett döntött, mert ezt tartja a legőszintébb formátumnak. Az utóbbi időben hangzása letisztultabb, minimálabb irányba mozdult, dallamok helyett inkább a dubosabb, úszósabb zenékre épít, hosszabb ívekkel és mélyebb atmoszférával. Bár továbbra is elkötelezett a bakelit mellett, ismét elkezdett digitális megjelenéseket is vásárolni — részben azért, mert sok kiváló zene csak így érhető el, részben pedig, hogy ezzel is támogassa a tehetséges magyar producereket. ENG: He entered the electronic music scene in 1994, initially drawn to the faster and harder styles such as hardcore techno and hard trance. In the second half of the '90s, he discovered a completely new underground world filled with unique clubs and iconic open-air events like those held at the Törökbálint Quarry and Frankhegy. In 2000, he organized his first event with Skizz — an experience that also sparked his passion for collecting vinyl. In 2004, they founded Deepimpression, a collective known for its intimate, family-like parties that drew a few hundred dedicated music lovers. His early sound was a blend of progressive house, breakbeat elements, and deep house. For many years he played both CDs and vinyl, but in recent years he chose to play exclusively vinyl, a format he considers the most genuine and honest form of DJing. Atlantic Dub aka Pálmester: HUN: "Borsodi betyárként szerencsére nagyon korán megismerkedtem az underground zenékkel, először 1996-ban voltam acid buliban. Első körben az acid/goatrance es a deep techno, dub techno fogott meg, 1998 óta szenvedélyesen gyűjtöm a zenéket. 2001-től vagyok lemezlovász. Sokáig gyűjtöttem bakeliteket is, amiktől pár éve megváltam. Eredeti szakmám villamosmérnök, de utána nem sokkal elvégeztem a hangmérnöki iskolát is. Szenvedélyesen szeretem a hangtechnikai kütyüket, keverőket, erősítőket, hangfalakat, szoktam ezeket javítani és építeni is. DJ-ként sok helyen zenéltem, főként mikor még Budapesten éltem. 2013-tól Tenerifén élek és itt viszem tovább az underground kultúrát, általában kéthetente csinálunk itt valamiféle bulit. My original profession was electrical engineering, but soon after that I graduated from sound engineering school. ENG: Ferenc Szanati has been consciously collecting music since his childhood, and made his debut as a DJ in 2007 at the Justmusic.FM DJ Championhsip, which he won. Over time, his musical taste has evolved, influenced by Progressive House and Deep House, leading him to Dub Techno, which is very close to him and he has been representing this style for a couple of years now. Besides music, sound quality is also important to him, so he prefers vinyl to always get the best possible sound on different systems. In 2011, Helikon Radio in Keszthely, Koktél, gave him a regular opportunity a resident DJ and editor to make his style available on terrestrial broadcasting in the region. In 2015, he and his friend AeRo founded the Euphonic Moments event series, which has become a show on Tilos Radio since then (Budapest, FM 90.3 and online). The Dub Techno-centric broadcasts can be heard bi-weekly, featuring guests mixes from Hungarian and international DJs who are doing quality work, alongside the hosts. Among others, he has appeared at events and clubs such as Club Dallas, Bloom Bar, Nemdebár, Mika Tivadar Mulato, Larm, Dürer Kert, Piknik Manufaktúra, Gátőrház, Aurora, Telep, Müszi, Deep Vision Night Camp, Phonoda Camp, Technoub Seance, Kerdő and of course Tilos Radio parties, as well as in numerous national and international podcasts.
