coming through to the other side (continuous mix)
“coming through to the other side” is more than an album — it’s a living archive of transformation. This 23-track experience weaves together sounds shaped by years of personal and artistic evolution. Each piece holds fragments of emotion, resilience, and metamorphosis. Some tracks emerged from Evlov’s archives and were expanded upon, while others were born in moments of solitude, reflection, and renewal. Together, they form a cohesive whole — a musical bridge from past to present, from inward searching to outward clarity and resilience. With signature ambient textures, downtempo grooves, soul-nourishing atmospheres, and cinematic sonic journeys, Evlov invites listeners into a space where time dissolves and feeling leads. The experience is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Designed to be experienced as a continuous flow, Coming Through to the Other Side unfolds like a story — carrying the listener from one emotional landscape to the next with seamless grace. It’s a sonic journey that invites repeat listening, revealing something new each time. Whether you’re moving through a turning point or simply seeking peace in sound, this eclectic tapestry becomes a field guide — for those who’ve traveled far, and those just beginning to cross. Revolution
This track couldn’t be uploaded at a better time! I created this one quite a long time ago . This is long before it started diving into the world of Propellerhead Reason. I created this one on. Acid Pro 2.0! I remember burning CD after CD realizing that certain parts were not sounding right. This track definitely is a reminder that we have the ability to follow through with what we believe in! Are you willing to revolutionize your mind? You have what it takes to move forward! I believe in you! It’s time for a revolution!

awakening
Back in 2001, I was tired of musicians flaking on me. I felt very eager to explore other ways to create music. I remember going to a music store and purchasing Acid Pro 2.0. This is one of the earliest pieces that I ever recorded on a DAW. I was playing my left-handed Ibanez and found a piano loop that I could not help messing around with. It's a very powerful piece (even though it's a very simple one). Awakening was probably recorded around 2001-02. I used to burn albums of my music under the moniker 'Genre'. This was definitely part of those 'burned albums' that I made back in the day. Years later... I finally decided to upload it and make it live for others to stream. It really is a super powerful piece! I have a feeling this will be on a future release as well! I designed the cover art myself using stock photos and the Adobe Creative Suite. No promoting at all! Enjoy this gorgeous gem of a relic! I hope you enjoy it!

a reason to break away.mp3
I was inspired to work on something new tonight. You never know where inspiration can lead you! It’s all about, trusting the process, and allowing oneself to let creativity blossom! Bring on the new flow! It’s time folks!

Shell Shawker
Old track I produced around 2007 - 2009. Looking forward to having this one on an album someday! Who knows... maybe a version of "Eclectica" (an album that I would create and burn via CD back in the day) can show up someday! Enjoy the sonic journey!

Getting Deep
After a long break from his last full-length release, Evlov (Robert Alexander) was gearing up for a massive LP release. Somehow this EP had to make its way before the bigger album! Full of nostalgia, textures, acoustics and sonic journeys, "Thank You For Listening" brings you on a journey that Evlov has been wanting to take you on for quite some time. You will appreciate the soothing sounds, bumpin' beats and melodic textures that will take you to another level of listening pleasure. Inspired by various artists like Tycho, Christopher Willits, Underworld, Charles Webster and Four Tet, you will be surprised to hear a different direction that Evlov has taken for this release. This sonic journey will most likely want you begging for more. This is just a taste of what will be released in the near future. 2021 was a massive year for change. May this release take you on a journey that serves you in ways that work best for you. Indeed, this is an album that reflects promise, motivation, strength and hope. After all, you so got this! And... with all that being said... literally... "Thank You for Listening!" credits released December 11, 2021 Evlov (Robert Alexander) - Programming, Producing, Mixing and Mastering on all tracks except: Welker Road - Live Impromptu Jamming with Guitar on "Between The Lines" (Track 5) Thank you so much to Welker Road for being one of the inspirations for this release. Also a special thank you to Tara Green for the motivation for inspiration for the commitment to record/produce every morning (for a long while). More special thank you's to Ginger Adam Little, Richard Slade, Kaisa Tokoi, Terri and George Kursar, Todd Williams, Freddie Grant, Don Estes, Allanah Hunt, Janessa Rose, Jake Alexander, KB (you know who you are), Cory Warfield, Lisa Ma, Brian Whitten and the many others who have believed in my craft. And... how can I not forget my amazing mother? I love you! And thank you everyone for being you. Times haven't been easy and I invite you to take each day to celebrate where you are, how far you've come and where you are going. You are amazing... truly! Keep up the great work!
