The Pressure Before and After 30

It took a minute but we're back, back with an interesting topic: The Pressure Before and After 30. Why Are We So Religiously Incurable?

Religion and the Ghanaian are like a pastor and their Bible. Inseparable right? 😉. This week, we share our thoughts on the sanctity of religion to the 'Ghana-man'.

  11. 19

    What's in a title?

In an age when it is the ideas that are important, why are some title holders so dogged in demanding reverence? Why do office holders require others to use titles to address them? Doesn’t insisting on being addressed in a fancy way indicate an inferiority complex rather than confidence? What is that makes us think less of people who don't have fancy titles?

  12. 18

    House Hunting in Accra

Call it a nightmare or whatever you want but house hunting in Accra is no joke. From agents who are just out to take your money to overbearing landlords and landladies. Oh my goodness, it is an arduous task.

  13. 17

    This thing called Addiction

We're all dealing with Addiction in one way or the other. Whether it be drugs, food, sex, pornography, addiction usually seems insurmountable. This week, we share our thoughts on the topic of addiction, not as experts but as people who have and are still dealing with our own addictions.

  14. 16

    The 'dishonourables'

Just when we thought our politicians had done enough, they serve us another dose today. It's all about the scramble for majority in parliament and who sits where. Really? Who sits where?? Well let's raise our glasses 🍸to our dishonourables..

  15. 15

    Gaslighting

The term originates with a 1938 play called “Gas Light.” In the play, a woman’s husband tries to convince her that she is mentally unstable. He makes small changes in her environment, such as dimming the gaslights in their house. He then convinces his wife she is simply imagining these changes. His ultimate goal is to have her committed to an asylum so he can steal her inheritance. It is an abusive tactic aimed to make a victim doubt their own thoughts and feelings.

  16. 14

    The Talk- Part 1

Did you ever get the talk or did your parents just threaten you as a way of doing it? "If you don't know and you go and carry pregnancy into this house (if you're a girl) or you go and impregnate someone's daughter (if you're a boy), forget about coming back to this house" This is a typical Ghanaian parent's way of giving you 'the talk'

  19. 11

    Cohabitation

Living together before marriage has become increasingly common among people around the world. Have you ever considered it? Would you be able to do it?
