Extraordinary Moments From an Ordinary Life

I meant to publish this short episode weeks ago, but I’m just getting to it. Just a quick thought on seasons, both in nature and in our lives.

We’re in this together. We all feel disappointment of some kind as humans. Others have disappointed us. Circumstances have disappointed us. Maybe we’re disappointed in ourselves. Let’s talk about it.

Life is tough. What do we do when we lose hope? Join me as I ponder that question and hopefully offer some helpful insights to consider.

Why is there such a stigma around our mental health? Our brains are extraordinary, but sometimes they need a little help. Let’s talk about it.

I decided to share some lessons I learned from having two tough, complicated, back-to-back surgeries and unexpectedly being in the hospital for just short of a month. Suffering isn't fun, as we know, but it is universal.  We will all suffer throughout our lives. So how can we do it well? What if we don't want to? What if we just want to run away? Is there any good in our suffering? I've had some time in my recovery to ponder some philosophical questions about it all, so look out!  Here we go.

We are actually calling this episode “plane crazy”, because my crazy flight attendant friend, Jen, is joining me at the mic! This is my first attempt at doing an interview and we had a blast recording it together, laughing and swapping flight attendant stories. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it!
