Jodi Foster is confronted with the news that John Hinckley has just shot the President. A flood of reporters descends upon Yale, upon her. Edward Michael Richardson follows in Hinckley's footsteps as he begins stalking Jodi. 

John Hinckley Jr. opens fire on President Ronald Reagan. Secret Service agent Jerry Parr has to make a difficult decision to save the president's life.  It all happens in less than two seconds. An event that has been building for years. In the gunman's pocket rests a John Lennon button. In his hotel room is a copy of the Catcher in the Rye. 

John Hinckley Jr discovers that he is not the only one with a dangerous obsession. Jodi Foster finds relief from her tormentor for a brief while as Hinckley turns his sights on the U.S. President. On an island in the Pacific, a man boards a plane.  Inside his luggage is a .38 revolver and a copy of a famous novel. A book that has taken over his life, the pages of a book that will lead Mark David Chapman to become a murderer. 

In 1976 the Martin Scorcese film Taxi Driver was released. The film would become caught up in a national tragedy.   Agents investigating a Presidential Assassination attempt uncover a plot that blurs the lines between fact and fiction. 

In 1976 the movie Taxi Driver premiered Starring Robert Deniro and a 14-year-old actress named Jodi Foster.  In 1981 President Ronald Reagan is attacked outside a Washington D.C hotel.  There is an unlikely connection. 

A trail of destruction follows George Blake.  What is uncovered leaves more questions than answers. 

A double agent strikes at the core of MI6.
