S2 E18 - Satan wants us to seek man's approval
If you're like me, you might sometimes find yourself seeking man's approval. Seeking approval from things/people NOT God. Yeah, I fall into that same thing too. Scripture tells us that if we are seeking man's approval, we aren't serving Christ. Guess who found herself not serving Christ... But the Lord is so gracious to remind me why I'm doing the things I'm doing and, more importantly, who I'm doing them for! Join me in today's episode as I share the moment when God reminded me who I should be doing this podcast for!

S2 E17 - God will provide... even through a tornado
In today's episode, we are retelling a story from tour and a story not from tour. I've gotten to really see the goodness of God through our bus travels and I want to sit down in this episode and share our most recent God moment - when we were being chased by a tornado! One of the most adventurous tours I've been on and yet I felt so much peace!

S2 E16 - God is not our personal vending machine
Okay, let’s be honest for a second… how often do we only go to God when we need something? 👀 In this episode, we’re diving into that question and getting real about our hearts. Are we loving Jesus for the blessings, or for who He truly is? It’s a sweet, eye-opening conversation that will encourage you to build a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Him.And just to be clear—this isn’t us saying we shouldn’t go to God when we need something. We absolutely should. He cares about our needs, our struggles, and every little detail of our lives. But that shouldn’t be the only reason we go to Him. He wants us in the hard times and the good times—in the valley and on the mountaintop. Our relationship with God is so much more than a quick ask or a last resort. He’s not a vending machine—He’s a loving Father who desires a real, everyday relationship with us. 💛

S2 E15 - Are we putting our worth in the right place?
In this week's episode, we ask ourselves an important question... are we putting our worth in the right place? I often find myself putting my worth in worldly things instead of Holy things without realizing it. We also dive into the way we think about ourselves and how this can be one of Satan's sneaky tactics to keep us from being confident in Christ. When we start hating what we see in the mirror, we're essentially hating on God's creation. If you've struggled or are struggling with this mindset, I want to invite you to sit in on this episode as we strive to give God our everything!

S2 E14 - What I was reminded when I fell off my horse
In this episode, I’m just sitting down and sharing what stuck with me from our Resurrection Sunday sermon—nothing fancy, just real thoughts and takeaways. We talk about the truth that because Christ rose from the grave, we have a reason to live boldly for Him every single day… not just once a year.I also share a pretty wild (and very real) story about the time I fell off a horse at a full-on gallop. It was scary. It hurt. And honestly, it would’ve been really easy to never want to get back on again. But that moment turned into something bigger. We talk about how falling, failing, and walking through hard things doesn’t mean we’re done—it’s often where God is growing our faith the most.I tie it into scripture and what it means to walk through tests and trials, trusting that God is using those moments to strengthen us, not break us.If you’ve been needing a little encouragement, a reset, or just a reminder that you’re not alone in this walk, this one’s for you.

S2 E9 - The Beauty Between the Peaks: Finding Purpose in the Waiting
In this episode, we’re reframing what it means to be in a “waiting season.” So often we celebrate the mountaintop moments — the milestones, the relationships, the breakthroughs — but what if the valley, the pause, and the in-between hold just as much purpose?Today, I’m sharing what I’ve learned about being single and how this season isn’t something to rush through, but something to grow through. We’ll talk about the hidden blessings in waiting, the character built in quiet seasons, and how singleness can be a time of deep clarity, confidence, and calling. If you’ve ever felt behind, overlooked, or tired of waiting — this conversation is for you. Because the waiting season isn’t a punishment… it’s preparation. And it might just be one of the most fruitful seasons of your life.

S2 E8 - We can't listen to Satan's lies
Have you ever felt like you’ve messed up too much for God to use you? Like you’ve made too many mistakes or gone too far?In this episode, we talk about that heavy feeling of being “too far gone” — and why it’s just not true.God has always had a habit of using the most unlikely people. A prosecutor of Christians becomes a preacher. A prostitute becomes part of God’s redemptive story. Ordinary, flawed, messy people, like us, become world changers. That’s kind of His thing. We read through Acts of the Apostles 9:1–22 and look at the powerful moment when Saul — later known as Paul the Apostle — has a life-altering encounter with Jesus. This is a man actively persecuting believers, breathing out threats, approving violence. If anyone seemed disqualified, it was him. And yet, Jesus didn’t cancel him — He called him. This conversation is real, encouraging, and rooted in the truth that your past does not intimidate God. Your mistakes don’t disqualify you. Your story isn’t over.

S2 S7 - What I learned from Sarah and Hagar
In this heart-to-heart episode, we’re diving into the story of Sarah and Hagar—and wow, is there so much we can learn from these two women... yes, even you guys! Have you ever tried to “help” God out by taking matters into your own hands? (Same.) We unpack what happens when we rush ahead of God’s promises instead of trusting His timing. Through Sarah and Hagar’s story, we’re reminded that God’s timing is never late, never early, but always perfectly aligned with His bigger plan—even when it doesn’t feel that way to us.We also talk honestly about consequences. Every choice we make matters. Even decisions made from impatience, fear, or doubt can ripple further than we expect. But here’s the beautiful part: God is still faithful. Even in the mess. Even in the waiting. Even when we’ve jumped the gun.

S2 E6 - When your prayers are going unanswered
This week on the podcast, I’m sharing some of the biggest takeaways from the Women’s Conference I attended last weekend. One passage in particular really stayed with me: Daniel 10:12–14.We talk about what it means when it feels like our prayers are hitting the ceiling. When we’ve been asking, believing, waiting… and nothing seems to be happening. In Daniel’s story, we’re reminded that just because we can’t see movement doesn’t mean God isn’t working. There may be things happening behind the scenes — spiritual battles, divine timing, unseen details — that we simply aren’t aware of.If you’ve ever felt discouraged in the waiting or wondered why your prayers seem delayed, this episode is for you. Let’s talk about trusting God in the silence, staying faithful in the waiting, and believing that heaven may be moving in ways we can’t yet see. 💛

S2 E5 - Exposing Satan's Schemes (Test Run)
In this episode, we’re pulling back the curtain on Satan’s schemes—how they show up in subtle, everyday ways, and how we can recognize and resist them with truth, wisdom, and faith. This conversation is meant to equip and encourage you, not to instill fear, but to bring clarity and confidence as we walk out our purpose. This episode is also a little special—it’s a test run of a message I recently shared at a women’s conference. I wanted to bring you into the heart of that talk, refine it through conversation, and invite you along in the process. Think of this as a behind-the-scenes moment. I’m so glad you’re here for it. 💛

S2 E4 - "Where do I start in the Bible?"
Ever opened the Bible, flipped a few pages… and thought, okay but where do I actually start? You’re not alone 😅In this episode, we talk honestly about that exact question: where do I start in the Bible? We’ll walk through a few simple, approachable places to begin, what each one offers, and how to choose a starting point that fits where you are right now—not where you think you should be.We also chat about making the most of the time you set aside for God in your day. Not in a “do more, try harder” way, but in a realistic, grace-filled way that helps you actually grow. Whether you have five quiet minutes or a longer rhythm, we’ll talk about small shifts that can make that time feel meaningful and life-giving.

S2 E3 - God's Timing is Perfect
Sometimes it feels like God is moving a little too slow for our comfort. In this episode, we sit down and talk about God’s timing—and why it’s always perfect, even when it doesn’t feel that way. We walk through John 11, the story of Lazarus, and wrestle with the moment when Jesus shows up “late”… at least by human standards.Through real conversation, relatable faith struggles, and a lot of grace, we explore how Jesus was never actually late—He was right on time, just not on their time. Or ours. If you’ve ever prayed for something and wondered why God didn’t answer when you expected, this episode is for you. Come be encouraged, reminded, and gently challenged to trust God’s timing, even when it doesn’t make sense.

S2 E2 - Assurance of Salvation
In this episode, we talk about Assurance of Salvation—something many Christians wrestle with at some point. Reading through Romans 10:9–11 and verse 13, we look at what it really means to believe in Jesus, confess Him as Lord, and trust God’s promise that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”We keep the conversation practical and encouraging, focusing on how our confidence in salvation comes from God’s Word, not our ups and downs. Whether you’re new to faith or just need a reminder of God’s faithfulness, this episode is meant to bring clarity, hope, and peace.

S2 E1 - Reflecting on 2025, Welcoming 2026!

In this episode, I talk about some of the blessings I’ve seen and the ways I’ve felt the Lord’s presence along the way. I’m also sharing what I’m carrying into the New Year—hope, faith, and expectation for what the Lord has in store. S1 E9 - God uses Manure to Grow Us
Let’s be honest — sometimes life just stinks. Things don’t go the way we planned, people let us down, and we walk through seasons that feel messy and hard. But what if those messy moments are exactly what God is using to grow us?In this episode, we’re talking about how God can take the “manure” in our lives — the trials, the pain, the things we wish we could skip — and use them to strengthen our faith. Just like manure helps plants grow deeper roots and healthier fruit, God uses our struggles to help us grow closer to Him and become who He’s called us to be.So grab your coffee (or take this walk with me), and let’s talk about how even in the middle of the mess, God is doing something beautiful.TikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@faith.over.feelin.podInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/faithoverfeelingspod/Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61578099300296YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@FaithOverFeelingsPodcast-podEmail: [email protected]

S1 E8 - Are we serving others like Christ would?
In this episode, we’re talking about what it really means to serve others with the love and humility of Jesus. Serving isn’t always easy — it often means sacrifice — but it’s one of the most powerful ways to show God’s love. Join us as we talk about how Christ set the ultimate example of servant-hearted love and why it's important that we serve others in love just as Christ did.TikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@faith.over.feelin.podInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/faithoverfeelingspodcast/Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/people/Faith-Over-Feelings-Podcast/61578099300296/#YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@FaithOverFeelingsPodcast-y6lEmail: [email protected]

In this episode, we explore what it truly means to be grateful—even when life is hard. Gratitude isn’t just for the mountaintops; it’s for the valleys too. Drawing from Scripture and real-life experiences, we reflect on how thankfulness in tough seasons can strengthen our faith, renew our hope, and align our hearts with God’s promises. Episode 4 - If this was your last day of Ministry
What if today was your last day in ministry… or even on earth? Not next year, not ten years from now—today. Would you preach differently? Slow down and really see people? Love more intentionally? In this episode, we’re asking a big question that hits close to home: Are we truly living for Jesus—or just going through the motions? And here's the thing—it’s not just for pastors or churchleaders. This conversation is for everyone—teachers, baristas, business owners, stay-at-home parents—anyone who wants to make a differences for Jesus. S1 E3 - We Can Be The Change

This episode is a reminder that following Jesus means being kind, loving, and real — not just in public, but behind the scenes too. Let’s talk about how we can actually be the change the world needs… starting with how we love. Let’s be the change. S1 E2 - Denying Ourselves
Hey friends — today we’re diving into something that isn’t always easy to talk about, but it’s so important: what it really means to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Jesus. In this episode, we’re exploring the powerful and oftenchallenging words of Christ in Luke 9:23–27. Jesus doesn't call us to a life of comfort, but to a life of surrender — one where our self-interest gives way to something deeper, more meaningful, and just absolutely beautiful: real transformation. We’ll talk honestly about the tension between living forourselves and living for Christ, why denying ourselves doesn’t mean being miserable, and how surrendering our own plans can actually lead us to the life we’re truly longing for. Here’s the thing: the “cross” we carry isn’t our personal preferences — it’s about total surrender. It’s layingdown our own hopes, ambitions, and dreams, and trusting that God’s plan is better. Let’s unpack this together — you’re not alone in thisjourney.Connect with us!TikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@faith.over.feelin.pod Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/faithoverfeelingspodcast/Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/people/Faith-Over-Feelings-Podcast/61578099300296/#YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@FaithOverFeelingsPodcast-y6lEmail:[email protected]
