True obedience is a matter of the heart and is empowered by the Spirit. Anything else is only empty form. James 4 says, we must be doers of the word and not hearers only. We won’t do it perfectly but what God wants in us is a genuine desire to follow His precepts evidenced by a growth in following them as we walk in His path. There are so many voices calling for our attention on a daily basis and many distractions that get in the way of seeking and hearing after God's voice and direction in our lives. God's Provision Never Runs Dry
As Christians we are not exempt from the trials and troubles of life and nor are we ensured an unchallenging journey. So yes, we will feel the weight of worry from time to time. The things we worry about are not inconsequential or insignificant. It is a natural tendency for us to lean towards allowing ourselves to worry and disquiet our souls. Worry can exist in our lives with alarming ease of we do not intentionally look to Jesus and what His word assures us of. And if all we are focusing on is that which is worrying us, it further fuels our worry and drains our hope. So we must remind ourselves that our Heavenly Father has our best interest at heart and trust in His character and promises. On today's episode, we look at one such reminder in scripture of God's magnificent provision.

A Simple act of Sharing God
In the Kingdom of God, no one earns their salvation. It is purely a gift given to us by the grace and mercy of God. And everyone deserves Christ to be shared with them. Yes, we might think that is easy to do, but do we truly have a humble and obedient heart surrendered to God to do that in less than ideal circumstances or with people we might not particularly like. We may not realise how powerful our willingness to obey God and point people to Christ can be. On todays episode, we look at one such reminder in scripture that points to humility, obedience and sharing the love of Christ.

Practices and Prejudice
We inculcate practices in our daily lives to help us in our spiritual Journey. But do these practices take on a greater emphasis than the reason that they were started in the first place. Do we tend to use those practices as a measure for righteous living? Do we tend to judge a person's spirituality by certain self-set parameters. As I dwelt on this, it was a sobering reminder to be intentional in not allowing pride to creep in and think in this manner.
