Episode 1: Social Conduct of Influencers

Fajitas Tonight? Episode 1 Welcome to a new podcast hosted by two students, Elle and Morgana, discussing things that caught their eyes this week. For the first episode they talk about how young reality stars handle their newfound fame, and the casualisation of cosmetic surgery. Note: We want to reiterate that we do not judge anyone for choosing to get cosmetic surgery/ make changes to their body, everyone has different reasons for doing this. We just wanted to discuss how the easy access to these procedures and the advertisement of these procedures has become over-casualised in the age of the influencer, and that this is potentially concerning for younger users of social media who do not properly research the procedures, or decide to make these changes based on trends pushed by influencers.
