    完璧なビギナーズ・ラックなんてものは存在しない。 完璧な絶望が存在しないのと同じようにね。 なぁ、君はバタフライ・エフェクトを信じるかい？ ブラジルで一匹の蝶が羽ばたくと、テキサスで竜巻が起こるというあれだ。 僕たちの身に起きた奇妙な出来事も、あるいは浴室乾燥機の中で カラカラに乾いた一枚の「赤いパンツ」から始まっていたのかもしれない。 その朝、僕は絵に描いたような大寝坊をした。 目覚まし時計の鳴り響く世界を飛び出し、ガクトへ大声で謝罪を入れ、 タクシーアプリを起動する。せめてもの誠意を示そうとしたわけだ。 だが、アパートの重いドアを開けると、そこにはなぜか 巨大な漆黒のアルファードが僕を待っていた。 通常料金のまま、まるで誰かの気まぐれのようにアップグレードされていたんだ。 やれやれ。潮目が変わったのは、きっとその瞬間だった。 生まれて初めて並んだSupremeの立ち上げ。 容赦ない日差しの中、僕が引き当てたのは「37番」という信じがたい幸運だった。 一緒に並んだガクトと後輩タツタカの期待を背に、待機列へと向かう僕の背中。 そこで彼らが見たのは、ショーツとタンクトップの隙間からチラリと覗く、 あの鮮烈なSupremeカラーの赤パンだった。 しかし、運命というやつはいつだって帳尻を合わせにくる。 僕のスマートフォンに表示された「1106」という整理番号は、 なぜか見知らぬ中年男の番号と完全に重複していたのだ。 世界はどうして、こうも奇妙な悪意と幸運に満ちているのだろう？ 一体、あの朝の原宿で何が起こったのか。話はそこから始まる。 P.S. 村上春樹っぽく書いてみました（笑） by トゥデイ Learn more about your ad choices.
