FH S4E14: Looking Forward, Looking Back
It's the last episode of Season Four! To commemorate this moment in Feminist Hotdog history, I decided to reflect a bit about the show's origin story, how four seasons of immersing myself in feminism changed me, and a few other things I've learned about myself, the patriarchy, and how to fight it. Feminist Hotdog will be going on hiatus for a few months while I focus on getting REVA Recovery Support off the ground. What will it look like when it comes back? I'm not sure yet, but I'd love to know what you think. More recovery content? More guest interviews? More examples of what makes my feminist heart sing? Something else? Let me know!Stuff I Talked About on This EpisodeLutze B. Segu - The Social Justice Doula Amelia HrubyEbonyJanice MoorePleasure Activism - adrienne maree brownRachel Cargle

FH S3E9: Blast from the Past
Finding it hard to remember the days before COVID hijacked the world? Me too. That’s why, for this episode, I went into the archives and took a trip down memory lane, unearthing some of my favorite moments from some of my favorite interviews. I chose three guests who all talked about their incredible passion projects and how their work—whether as writers, performers, or teachers—furthers their vision for collective liberation. You’ll hear from two podcasters, Jana Schmieding of Woman of Size and Amelia Hruby of Fifty Feminist States, as well as anti-bias anti-racist educator and writer Liz Kleinrock. It’s a highlight reel of inspiration designed to lift you up if the coronavirus (and the surrounding ocean of bullsh*t) has got you down.

FH S2E15: Road Trippin' with Amelia Hruby
It’s the last episode of Season 2! I can’t think of a better way to mark 30 episodes of Feminist Hotdog than by talking to Amelia Hruby, podcaster extraordinaire, who is traveling to EVERY STATE in the country to interview gender justice and queer liberation activists for her show, Fifty Feminist States. Learn along with Amelia as she talks about the amazing people she’s met on her recent trip to the Deep South (including Montgomery!), her forthcoming book of feminist mantras, and what’s inspiring a whole choral arrangement of singing in her feminist heart.Stay tuned for season 3 coming in January!Stuff We Talked About on This EpisodeFifty Feminist Stateshttps://www.fiftyfeministstates.com (https://www.fiftyfeministstates.com)Sister - Feminist Business Schoolhttps://sister.is/ (https://sister.is/)Living a Feminist Life by Sara Ahmedhttps://www.dukeupress.edu/living-a-feminist-life (https://www.dukeupress.edu/living-a-feminist-life)Violet Valley Bookstorehttps://www.violetvalley.org/ (https://www.violetvalley.org/)SisterReachhttps://www.sisterreach.com/ (https://www.sisterreach.com/)Cherisse Scotthttp://www.womenofachievement.org/vision/cherisse-scott/ (http://www.womenofachievement.org/vision/cherisse-scott/)Jasmine Tasakihttp://bigdoorbrigade.com/2019/07/10/interview-with-jasmine-tasaki-about-trans-mutual-aid-work-in-tennessee/ (http://bigdoorbrigade.com/2019/07/10/interview-with-jasmine-tasaki-about-trans-mutual-aid-work-in-tennessee/)

FH S2E14: Feminist High Five with Leah Abrams
Sometimes I wish I could go back and meet my 20-year-old self. I’m sure she’d be cool, but there’s no way she’d be as woke, witty, and together as this week’s guest—Leah Abrams! She’s a feminist college student with a mind for policy, history, and grassroots organizing, and she has a lot to say about the way feminism has already positively influenced her life. Listen in as we talk about feminism on campus, unsung climate change heroes, things we’re REALLY good at, two media groundbreakers who belong in the Hotdog Hall of Fame.Mothers of Invention Podcasthttps://www.mothersofinvention.online (https://www.mothersofinvention.online)22 Diverse Voices to Follow on Twitter this Earth Dayhttps://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2019/04/22-diverse-voices-to-follow-on-twitter-this-earth-day/ (https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2019/04/22-diverse-voices-to-follow-on-twitter-this-earth-day/)"13 Things I Am Really, Really Good At" by Manchit Sachdevahttps://www.makemuse.online/content/read/13-things-i-am-really-really-good-at (https://www.makemuse.online/content/read/13-things-i-am-really-really-good-at)Make Musehttps://www.makemuse.online (https://www.makemuse.online)Maura Sheedyhttps://strategygirl.nyc/2019/04/19/interview-with-maura-sheedy-founder-of-make-muse/ (https://strategygirl.nyc/2019/04/19/interview-with-maura-sheedy-founder-of-make-muse/)Nikole Hannah-Joneshttps://nikolehannahjones.com (https://nikolehannahjones.com)

She is also a Lakota woman who navigates feminism in white and decolonized spaces and has a lot to say about both. FH S2E09: The T is Usually Silent with Hazel Edwards
I've wanted to interview Hazel Edwards ever since I started Feminist Hotdog. At the tender age of 22, she's the interim director of the Bryson Institute, the education and training department for Philadelphia's Attic Youth Center. Pushed out of a school that refused to affirm her gender, she now advocates for trans youth and educates service providers. She’s a poet! She’s a fashionista! She’s a scriptwriter! She’s…ANGBEEN! This guest has been a Feminist Hotdog cheerleader from the beginning. Without her, this show might never have existed! We had a blast talking about pregnant Spiderwoman, Lorena Bobbitt’s reckoning, our mutual love for Stacey Abrams, and two new Hall of Famers, one of whom made us cry (happy tears). FH S1E13: Lovers of Life
This week I got to dish with teacher, mother and lover of life Judy Kerner. We talk about Judy's unconventional path to parenthood, ruminate over Gillette's new toxic masculinity ad, and learn about three modern book lovers who are bringing back indie-stye Bookmobiles to communities that lack access to queer authors and writers of color. We also welcomed two new Hall of Famers who both work in the entertainment industry, including a young woman who started the Chinese #MeToo movement. (Music by Ava Luna and Loyalty Freak Music.)

FH S1E12: Adventures With Maddog
My guest, Madison Clark, is a scholar, a pop-culture princess, an activist and an expert on everything Michael Jackson. Madison stopped by on a visit from Southern California to talk about her latest experience as a clinic escort, clemency for Cyntoia Brown, AOC's dance moves and "Masculinity Monday." We also introduced each other to two trailblazing academics from history and welcomed them into the Hotdog Hall of Fame. (Music by Ava Luna and Loyalty Freak Music.)

FH S1E11: Radical Deliciousness
It almost doesn't feel right to have a chef of this caliber on a show with "hotdog" in the title, but lucky for us, Davena is a culinary populist. In this episode, we talk collard greens, vibrators, "micro-affirmations" and the assumptions we make about lady chefs. We also get to know a hard-core 19th-century feminist left behind by history for being "too radical." (Wait...that's a thing???) (Music by Ava Luna and Loyalty Freak Music.)

FH S1E10: No More Endo, No More Ute
It's the last episode of 2018 and the first Feminist Hotdog threeway! Dynamic duo Shannon and Leanne join me to reflect on the year, talk about their favorite feminist moments (shout out to Brandi Carlile and the Dixie Chicks), and launch their singing careers. We also hear about Shannon's surgical adventures and ponder the mystery of why doctors have such a hard time talking to patients about their vaginas. (Theme music by Ava Luna and Loyalty Freak Music.)

FH S1E09: Let's Have a Kiki
In this episode, we learn about the world of artist and writer Christine Sloan Stoddard—a world inhabited by fictional quails, badly blown glass and sparkly clay vulvas among other oddities and delights. We also talk about pushing past disappointment, applaud a new YouTube series for LGBTQ youth, and learn about the woman behind the Bechdel Test. (Music by Ava Luna and Loyalty Freak Music.)

FH S1E08: Home Alone
What happens when you leave Feminist Hotdog all alone with no one to talk to? She starts talking to you! In my first solo show, I share my latest inspiration porn, gush about a new book that seeks to upend white supremacy, and attempt to answer the listener question: Is my bartender racist? (Music by Ava Luna and Loyalty Freak Music.)
