  1. 331

    Exodus - God's RV - The Tabernacle 1

Exodus 25-27 can get overlooked sometimes. We can get lost in the blueprints and specific instructions, but it's beautiful how this passage is that it points to Jesus. God is making a way to dwell with His people. When we take a minute to stop and think about that, it's really incredible! The One True Holy Living God who created the world desires to have a relationship with us, the people He made out of dirt. Let's unpack these chapters together and see the foreshadowing of our Savior in even the smallest details.

  2. 330

    Father's Day - A Real Man

We celebrate our Heavenly Father and the fathers here on earth, especially Jesus' father, Joseph. Even though there are no recorded words from Joseph in scripture, we can learn a lot from how he accepted God's assignment for his life. He rose to the task of raising God's own son in the flesh. We are all a work in progress, still on the potter's wheel, and we may feel inadequate. But God can use people in mighty ways, even when we don't feel qualified.

  3. 329

As You Go - The Great Commission

Join us Mark Jones brings the Good News of the Gospel to the forefront, and challenges us to obey the Great Commission. We are called to be disciples of Jesus who are actively making disciples. Christ came into the world to make a way for us to be reconciled with God, to bridge the gap between us caused by our sin. The Kingdom of Heaven grows through multiplication discipleship, let's be challenged by his message!

  4. 328

    Exodus - God's Top Ten (Part 2)

Jesus said the law could be summed up in two commands: love God & love others. Join us as we wrap up our look at the 10 Commandments, and learn the ways God has shown us to best love our neighbor as we love ourself.

  5. 327

    Exodus - God's Top Ten (Part 1)

Join us as we break down the Ten Commandments into two main sections - loving God and loving our neighbor. This week we focus on commandments 1-4, they're all about loving the Lord. How do we show God that we love him? By keeping Him first in our lives and by not using His name lightly. We follow His example and carve out a day of rest in our week. And we don't try to put God in a box, making Him into what we imagine. God is holy and perfect, and He gives instructions how to best show our love to Him.

  6. 326

Exodus - A Holy God Meets With His Unholy People

It's incredible that God doesn't keep His distance anymore, like with the Israelites in the Old Testament. The whole mountain was off-limits, only Moses could go up as God met with him. Through Christ's sacrifice and resurrection, we now have a mediator and full access to the perfect God of the universe. Let us not take for granted that we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us as believers, what an amazing privilege to have a direct line to speak with the Lord anytime we want! Take a moment to pray and thank God for such an awesome gift.

  7. 325

Exodus - Getting Others in the Game

"You weren't meant to do this alone!" This is the advice given to Moses by his father-in-law, and the same can apply to our life and ministry. Join us as we dive into Exodus 17 and explore the importance of protecting your family and sharing the load.

  8. 324

    Exodus – Prayer, Not Grumbling

Grumbling and complaining distort our reality and distract us from our destination. Prayer, on the other hand, connects us to God's provision and purpose for the season we're in. We walk with the Lord in the light of His Word. Happy Mother's Day!

  9. 323

    Exodus – Krispy Kreme Manna

What is manna, and how does it relate to Jesus? How can eating a sweet bread for forty years point us to the Bread of Life, Jesus? Great is His faithfulness, and may we trust the Lord to provide for every season of our life.

  10. 322

    Exodus – Hymn of Hallelujah

Today's message is all about worship. Worship isn't about us, it's about fixing our eyes on King Jesus and remembering what He's done for us. Let our song bring Him glory! Exodus 15.

  11. 321

    Exodus – Be Still

Exodus 14:14 says, "The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still." What does it look like to trust God when the circumstances of life overwhelm us? How do we follow God's presence when we're so busy trying to make it through today? Thank God for community in Jesus!

  12. 320

Exodus – Teach Your Children Well

In Exodus 13:1–16, God steps into Israel’s new freedom and immediately begins to shape how they will remember it—commanding that every firstborn be consecrated and every Passover generation be taught to remember that they were once slaves whom the Lord brought out with a mighty hand. This is not just a set of rituals; it is the formation of identity in real time. Because God knows that redeemed people are in danger of forgetting their redemption, He builds memory into their calendar, their homes, and even their children’s questions. And as we hear these ancient instructions, we’re forced to ask whether we too have become forgetful people—living in freedom but losing sight of the cost and the power behind it.

  13. 319

    The Sounds of Easter

Happy Easter to you and your family! Today, we hear the sounds of Resurrection Sunday – the sound of the tomb rolling open and the sound of the Savior who calls you by name.

  14. 318

    The Sounds of Palm Sunday

The "clop clop clop" of the donkey as Jesus rides into Jerusalem, the shouts of praise as God's people pray to be liberated from oppressive Rome, the sound of Pontius Pilate's parade as he tries to interrupt the Passover feast. There's a lot going on that first Palm Sunday, but one thing is clear – the King rides for you.

  15. 317

Exodus – It's Always Been about the Lamb

God protects His people from the angel of death by the blood of the Lamb, and that blood still protects His people today. The gospel is really a new exodus for the people of God. Let's dive into God's grace-filled judgment in Exodus 12.

  16. 316

Exodus – The Last of the Plagues

We are thankful that the plagues are ending! God continues to show that He is more powerful than the gods of Egypt, but the Pharaoh's stubbornness continues to hold him back from true repentance. What can we learn from these plagues? Let's find out!

  17. 315

Exodus – Bulls, Boils, and the Big Storm

God's judgment on Egypt continues, and the plagues keep coming. Some of the Egyptians even begin to listen to the God of Israel as the one, true God. If God allows our decisions to solidify our destiny, what can we learn about sin? How can we repent of our sin?

  18. 314

    Exodus – Plagues Begin

In chapter 8, when God unleashes judgments on Egypt, the Pharaoh doesn't seem too bothered. He tells Moses he'll let him pray...tomorrow! The idea of tomorrow can cause to procrastinate and build a habit of refusing to listen to God. Beware of a hardened heart.

  19. 313

Exodus – Trusting God Through Discouragement

God promises to rescue, form relationship, and reward the Israelites, but they doubt Him. They wallow in their discouragement, the enemy's sharpest and most used tool. How can we continue to trust God to deliver in the midst of discouragement?

  20. 312

    Exodus – Hardened Hearts

The hardened heart of Pharaoh is a lesson for us. Tomorrow is the graveyard where obedience gets buried. Today is the day to turn your life to the Lord and accept Him as the one, true God.

  21. 311

Exodus – Straw in the Brick

Josh Cooper leads us through Exodus 5 and how to turn to Jesus in hard times. Then, he reveals our 2026 initiative to have 1,000 people sign up for serving at Fern Creek. Because Jesus!

  22. 310

Exodus – The Call That Changes Everything

Moses' conversation with God from the burning bush teaches us how to listen and obey God's calling on our lives. From sharing our testimony, to grabbing snakes by the tail, God wants us to obey Him even if it's dangerous. When we obey Him, God will show us His faithfulness and provision. What are we holding back from God?

  23. 309

Exodus – Moses Learns God's Name

God appears to Moses through a burning bush and reveals His name to him – Yahweh. That name becomes incredibly important during the life and ministry of Jesus, who claims deity. What will Moses hear from the Lord? Let's dive into Exodus 3 together!

  24. 308

Exodus – Moses Placed in the Nile

What's the history behind the events of Exodus 2? Why was the Pharaoh's daughter at the Nile River when she found baby Moses in the basket? And 40 years later, why would Moses kill an Egyptian who was beating a Hebrew slave? God had a plan.

  25. 307

Exodus – God Sees, He Hears, He's Concerned

The beginning of Exodus sets the scene. The Pharaoh has turned on the Hebrews in his land, and when forced labor doesn't work in getting their allegiance, he turns to killing baby boys. The Hebrews stay faithful to God, however, and He sees them. He's concerned, and He's got a plan to deliver them.

  26. 306

    Vision Sunday

Celebrate what God did in 2025 and look ahead to what He will continue to do in 2026 and beyond! This is a big year for our growing church.

  27. 305

    Resolutions with Nothing at Stake

At this time of year, it's popular to make some changes to your life, but research shows that people aren't going about resolutions in a successful way. Making changes can be good, but making sure that we know God's love is never at stake is even better. Even when we fail, we can get back up and keep pursuing Christ because in Him, we have been set free from sin. Happy New Year!

  28. 304

Carols of Christmas – Joy to the World

The nativity scene makes room for the weeping mother, Rachel in Matthew 2. Sometimes joy sounds like a trembling voice saying, “I still believe.” So church—whether you sing through smiles or tears today — lift your eyes. Joy to the world. The Lord has come. The Lord is coming again

  29. 303

Carols of Christmas – What Child Is This

Jesus asks His disciples in Matthew 16, "Who do you say that I am?" All of Scripture seeks to answer the question: who is this baby in a manger? How one answers that question can change and deepen our Christmas season.

  30. 302

Carols of Christmas – O Little Town of Bethlehem

This December, we are looking at some of the greatest songs of the Christmas season. Today, we tell the story of Philipps Brooks, who wrote the words to 'O Little Town of Bethlehem.' What did he see, and what was his prayer?

  31. 301

Carpe Diem – The Secret of Contentment

Paul says he had to learn how to be content in all circumstances. He's lived in plenty and in comfort, but now he's writing to the Philippians from prison. What's his secret to learn contentment?

  32. 300

Carpe Diem – Practical Commands for a Sanctified Life

Levi walks us through the beginning of Philippians 4 this morning with a command to rejoice! One of the more popular passages in all of Scripture, praying in all circumstances and presenting our requests to God is often difficult and seems like a last resort. When anxiety asks, the peace of God answers.

  33. 299

Carpe Diem – Finishing the Race

Paul urges the church at Philippi to finish their race. Leaving the past behind, straining ahead toward what's next, we can trust that God will be with us and strengthen us on our journey. This sermon is an encouragement you won't want to miss.

  34. 298

Carpe Diem – Joy Joy Boom Boom

What does joy look like in the life of a Christian? What is Paul willing to leave behind and consider garbage for the sake of knowing Christ? Joy comes from knowing Christ.

  35. 297

Carpe Diem – I Work Out!

Being a light in the darkness isn't easy, but what if it's simple? Paul tells the church in Philippi to stop arguing and grumbling. That's how we work out what God is working in us. It's a simple message but a good one.

  36. 296

Carpe Diem – Ambition to Be Like Christ

Paul warns the church not to pursue selfish ambition or vain conceit, but to have the same mindset as Christ, who gave up His divine privileges to serve mankind. May the Spirit give God's people ambition to love their neighbor as Christ first loved them.

  37. 295

Carpe Diem – Seeing What Is Unseen

Faith is not a new lens on life that helps us see or have all the answers. Faith is accepting that we don't have all the answers, but we trust the One who does. When Paul gets stuck in prison, he doesn't know whether he will live or die, but he commits himself to the preaching of the gospel and the unity of the Philippian church. With faith, we can persevere through whatever opposition comes our way.

  38. 294

    Carpe Diem – Spiritual Partners

Paul develops a spiritual partnership with the church in Philippi. He prays for them and takes time in his letter to encourage them and point them to Jesus. How can we spiritually partner with others today?

  39. 293

    Decision Day

Scripture is clear – repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins. What is baptism? Why does Fern Creek baptize by immersion? Let's look at Scripture and encourage folks to make a decision for Jesus today!

  40. 292

    Beginnings – Dying Well

Jacob has lived in Egypt for 17 years. The timer has run out and Jacob is about to die. Before he dies, he does several incredible things that teach us how to die well. Jacob rallied. Jacob recognized his blessings. Jacob blessed his family.

  41. 291

Beginnings – Jacob Dances at 130

One of the most beautiful stories of the Old Testament, Jacob will be reunited with his long, lost son, Joseph, at 130 years old.  The trip getting there is hard, but the joys he’ll experience are life changing. Today we learn you’re never too old to learn to dance.

  42. 290

    Beginnings – Joseph Forgives

Joseph hadn’t seen his brothers since the ol’ thrown into a cistern and sold into slavery debacle. Now, he’s reunited with them during a great famine, and he holds the key to their next meal. How will Joseph handle this reunion? Will he forgive or will he take revenge?

  43. 289

    Beginnings – Joseph and Dreams

God uses Joseph to help the Pharaoh interpret his dreams, and Joseph gives all the credit to God. How does God want us to bring His light into the dark places of this world? How can we impact our community and point people to the work and glory of God?

  44. 288

    Beginnings – Joseph's Integrity

In the face of temptation, Joseph passes his test with faithful integrity. He refuses to sleep with another man's wife. His reward, however, is false accusation and a prison sentence. What are we to make of a season in Egypt?

  45. 287

    Beginnings – Judah's Shame

After deciding to sell his brother as a slave, Judah runs away and makes some more bad decisions. Finally, after a wild turn of events that you won't want to miss, he realizes that even a pagan, Canaanite woman is more righteous than he is. Let's open Genesis 38 together.

  46. 286

    Beginnings – Jacob's Favorite Son

Jacob's playing favorites with his kids leads him to getting deceived once again. What does Joseph's dream mean? How will it impact his future? Let's open Genesis 37 together.

  47. 285

Beginnings – Run to the Father

What does God do in response to the horrific events from Genesis 34? He shows up. He speaks. He renews His covenant with Jacob and protects Jacob's family. God's grace is beyond our comprehension, but it means that in our mess, we don't have to run harder. We can run to the Father.

  48. 284

Beginnings – A Dark, Horrible Chapter

Genesis 34 is one of the most difficult chapters in all of Scripture. Jacob's disobedience leads to a horrible consequence for his daughter, Dinah. Jacob's sons make the matter worse, and we've got to sit in the weight of this mess.

  49. 283

Beginnings – Jacob Gets a New Name

After wrestling with God through the night at 100 years old, Jacob receives a new name from God. Jacob has been changed. He's no longer identified as a deceiver, but as one who has wrestled with God and overcome.

  50. 282

Beginnings – Polygamy, Mandrakes, and Goats...Oh My

There is no description that really fits this passage of Genesis...the bottom line is that God's grace is always greater than our sin. God had a plan for this family, and He would see it through no matter what mess they caused.
