We also chatted about why The Flash movie, reviewed in the last edition of the podcast, has tanked so heavily at the Box office despite being an excellent comic-book movie. Where the hell have we been? Asked no-one! It's been tricky scheduling, but the lad and the Dad have finally been able to watch a couple of movies with multi-versal origins! First up, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel to the dazzling Into The Spider-Verse - a personal favourite for us, could this second part of the trilogy surpass the heights of the previous one? Second up, The Flash - DC's troubled superhero movie starring Ezra Miller in the titular role - and someone who's proven to be a significant headache for studio bosses. The DCU's James Gunn called it one of the best superhero movies ever, but do we agree? Thanks so much for your support. If we could ask just a small favour.
