Film Never Lies with Luke Willson

In the final episode of the first season of Film Never Lies, Luke Willson takes a trip to Graham Leggat's to share his misery over Italy missing the World Cup with the hosts of the Park the Bus Podcast, Luke Wileman, Kevin Kilbane, and Steven Caldwell. The guys discuss Italy's fall since winning the World Cup in 2006, how Italy lost to Bosnia in qualifying, give their thoughts on the Canada Soccer jersey exchange, and discuss Canada's finalized World Cup group . They also rank the top 5 strikers of all-time and share a laugh over a "hypothetical" night out that Willson and Caldwell had. Later in the episode, Luke is joined by Nathan from Yoder Smokers to rank the top 5 foods to cook on a smoker. 

In Episode 24 of Film Never Lies, Luke Willson is joined by Akheem Mesidor to discuss his journey from Ottawa to being the most hyped Canadian NFL draft prospect of all-time. Mesidor provides insight on how he's been preparing for the draft, his experience at the combine, and his message to Canadian kids trying to make it down south. Luke, also tells the story of his draft year, and how he went from thinking the Seahawks had no interest in him to being a Super Bowl champ in Seattle as a rookie. 

In Episode 23 of Film Never Lies, Luke Willson is joined by Canadian curler Brad Jacobs to discuss his experience at the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, winning Olympic gold for the second time, how brutal it was to go through the 'double-touch' controversy with Sweden during the games, the memes that went viral of his teammate Marc Kennedy, and what it takes to be a skip at the highest level. 

In Episode 22 of Film Never Lies, Luke Willson is joined by NFL tight end Will Dissly to give an inside look at what the free agency process in the NFL is really like. A combined 16 seasons of NFL experience, Luke and Will share stories of signing contracts, betting on yourself, recruiting pitches by GMs and coaches, and putting faith in your agent to get the best deal possible. 

In Episode 21 of Film Never Lies, Luke Willson is joined by PWHL star Natalie Spooner, to discuss the Olympics, her remarkable return from childbirth to PWHL MVP, how being a mom transformed her game, and how the PWHL has taken off since its inception. Luke and Natalie reminisce on training together in the past and compare the Ohio State / Michigan rivalry with the Canada / USA hockey rivalry. In Episode 20 of Film Never Lies with Luke Willson, Winnipeg Blue Bombers QB, Zach Collaros, returns for the fourth time. Zach addresses the speculation that this could be his last season in the CFL and explains why he isn't thinking about retirement. Luke and Zach discuss how Winnipeg's off-season moves and how the team has reloaded after not making it to the Grey Cup last year. They revisit Super Bowl LX and Zach gives his perspective as a quarterback on what the Seahawks did to give Drake Maye so much trouble. Joined first by snowboarder Sebastien Toutant (aka Seb Toots), Luke and Seb discuss what it's like in the moments before and after performing on the Olympic stage, the pressure that comes with being in an individual sport, and the thrill of winning Gold. Later, 2-time moguls gold medalist, Alexandre Bilodeau joins the show to share his experience of winning gold on home soil and the mindset it takes to successfully defend an Olympic title. In Episode 18 of Film Never Lies former Seahawk and member of Seattle's only previous Super Bowl victory, Luke Willson, breaks down what went into Seattle's second championship in franchise history. Luke goes in depth on the moves John Schneider and the front office made to get there and how difficult the decisions they made in that process were. He also looks at the Seahawks' run game against the Patriots and how the success Kenneth Walker had on the ground led to their only offensive touchdown of the game. Luke also checks in on Seahawks superfan, Michael 'Hound-Dog' Harrison, for an update on how he's feeling post-Super Bowl victory. On location from Radio Row at Super Bowl LX in San Francisco, Luke Willson's joined by two of his favourite teammates, Ricardo Lockette and Stephen Hauschka. The guys re-live both the highs and the lows of Super Bowl XLVIII and Super Bowl XLIX, with Lockette giving an emotional and authentic account of what happened on the pass intended for him that was intercepted by Malcolm Butler on the goal line. They discuss Lockette's iconic touchdown celebration, his ferocious hits on special teams, Hauschka's clutch kicks, and the brotherhood that was formed by that group of Seahawks. Known for giving kickers a hard time, Luke offers Stephen the opportunity to explain the mindset of an NFL kicker. Teammates together in 2013 and 2014 with the Seahawks, Luke and Bryan reminisce on what made that era of Seahawks football so special, how this year's team compares to the team's they played on, how excited the city of Seattle is to be back in the Super Bowl and who will win on Sunday. Then one of the world's leading experts in sports and performance psychology, Dr. Gervais joins the show. Dr. Gervais was the Seahawks' sports psychologist while Luke played in Seattle. In their conversation, Luke details how profound an impact speaking with Dr. Gervais had on his career and how much he stills practices what Dr. Gervais taught him now as a broadcaster. In Episode 15 of Film Never Lies, Zach Collaros joins Luke Willson for a third time during the NFL playoffs to take an in-depth look at what happened in the AFC and NFC championship games.  Luke and Zach examine how the Seahawks capitalized on the Rams' mistakes in the 2nd and 3rd quarter to take control of the game and ultimately earn a trip to the Super Bowl. They breakdown the brilliance of Matthew Stafford in what had the potential to be a legacy defining game. In episode 10 of Film Never Lies, Luke Willson is joined by Super Bowl winning offensive lineman Max Unger to discuss the way NFL offences have evolved, the synergy needed between the coaching staff and players to have success, and how to read complex defensive coverages.
