We fight about it. We name our dogs after retired players, then name our children after those dogs. We talk football the way Sinatra sang songs: with conviction. And drunk. Each week, Dave Dameshek’s embarrassing habit of assigning meaning to frivolous stats is on full display as he is joined by a host of celebrities, players, and well-meaning people who play experts on television.
