Yet in the shadows of all of this, Christians and their allies have had several cultural wins that show a possible turning of the tides. The question now becomes, do Christians and their allies have what it takes to truly win or will we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory? During all of this evangelicals have provided a variety of responses to the unfolding events. Many of these responses are bad, but some our just down right hideous, which begs the question: Why do evangelical Christians suck at politics?
