Episode 59 - New season, new team, new regs, WHO DIS?! WE MADE IT! We made it through the long and cold winter break! We knew there would be surprises on grid placements and points but shoot, we actually didn't know the scale of it.MC and I revisit the highs (is it finally OUR year?!) and the lows - the Monaco Curse was broken but it may have reincarnated itself as the Aussie Curse. And the juicy bonus is finding out how the hell MC could possibly relate Formula One to Heated Rivalry LOL!

Episode 58 - And that's it. Just like that, our season finale has come and gone. We finally had a World Drivers' Championship come down to Abu Dhabi again. Hard fought race by all - some against rival drivers, others against the own teams. MC and I revisit the wins, the losses, and the cringes. What a year it has been. Thanks for hanging out with us through it!

Episode 57 - If Abu Dhabi is anything like the first two races of this triple header season finale, we are in for it. MC and I relive the insanity of Vegas and Qatar - equally as wiiiiiiiiiild! One team's highs and other team's lows mean we actually have season finale to determine the WDC! What a time to be alive!

Episode 56 - Before the triple header (hopefully) starts this weekend in the currently flooded streets of Las Vegas, join MC and I as we review the last three races - Austin, Mexico, and Brazil. Episode 49 - The Japanese GP started off our first triple header of the season. They can't all be action-packed races. The end. Kinda. Not much happened but we manage to find a few things to cheer about and a few things to bitch about - Yuki's home race in a RB, McLaren leaving points on the table, Alex's continued sass, and a familiar anthem. Episode 46 - F1 IS BACK BABY!!!! We knew the action in Melbourne was going to be insane with it being the first race plus coming off of last year's madness then adding so many rookies, and on top of all that, it rained! DNS, DNF's, pitlane start, yellow flags, red flags, blue flags, safety cars, a brilliant return to the tarmac from what looked like a done deal, squashed beef, words of wisdom, a rookie climbs 12 spots, oh and LEWIS' FIRST RACE WITH FERRARI!!!!! So much happened but we managed to contain it all in a cute little 20 minute package for your listening pleasure. Enjoy friends! We are SO hyped for this season!!

Episode 45 - To tide you over til the race today, here's our review of the livery reveal a couple weeks ago.Earlier this month, Formula One held a live livery reveal in at the O2 Arena in London to celebrate 75 years of the F1 Championship series. Episode 44 - MC and I still weren't ready to come to terms with this insane season to end so we left it until the last minute before the holidays start. Join us as we cheer, cry, rage, and laugh with the season finale that 2024 deserved. We should've known Abu Dhabi was gonna bring it. Disclaimer: MC and I recorded this episode back in December and there's nothing like the looming deadline of the 2025 season starting to get my ADHD ass motivated. Episode 43 - Racing at the Lusail Circuit was exactly the kind of race we expected as we round the corner to the season finale. Flags, safety cars, crashes, false starts, stop and go penalties, time penalties, grid place penalties, all the penalties!! Plus another amazing Alpine placing, a shock exit from a team, and all teams now officially have points on the board! Join me and MC while we attempt to contain all of this madness into a half hour episode. (Spoiler alert: I left A LOT on the cutting room floor to keep it under 30 minutes - you're welcome!)

Episode 42 - VIVA LAS VEGAS!! Max proves what happens in Vegas DOES NOT stay in Vegas as we crown him the diamond of the season. The Mercs secure a 1-2, the Ferraris battle in epic proportions (internally), and the Mclarens wallow as the gap in the WCC narrows. Eventful yet uneventful...does that make sense? Either way, it was a race in line with the 2024 madness.

Episode 41 - Our post-race recap of the MAGIC of Interlagos. We recorded it the day after the race so two and a half weeks ago but you should still join us because reliving the insanity is so fun. Trust me. It's SO worth it. Yellow flags, red flags, black flags, virtual safety cars, actual safety cars, crashes, beaches, DNS, DNF, DSQ, aborted start, the list goes on and on and on. But NONE of that was more shocking than Max climbing 16 places and Alpine catching a double podium. NO ONE HAD THIS ON THEIR 2024 BINGO CARD! Absolutely unpredictable from start to finish. The most epic of rollercoasters in this exciting season.

Episode 40 - RB FALLS TO THIRD IN THE WCC?!?! We'll review how that happened at the fifth last race that happened last weekend in Mexico. We had the same four fighting for those top spots as we did the weekend prior in Austin. The same but still so, so, so different! The FIA wasn't stingy with the penalties and we had crashes, retirements, and even a middle finger.

Episode 39 - To quote MC, WHAT A TIME TO BE A FORMULA ONE FAN!!! We're starting every race weekend without any idea who's going to win and we are LIVING for it. COTA was the scene of Mama's first Grand Prix so I'm definitely super-biased but this was THE BEST RACE of the entire season! Join me and MC as we revisit some of our fave and not-so-fave moments from the Circuit of the Americas. But mostly, faves cuz FORZA FERRARI!!!!

Episode 38 - Hi y’all, I’m Ger. I’m finally doing an Intro to Myself episode and aside from telling you guys my name for the first time, I’ll share some insight into Formula One Plus One - how it started and some stats from the channel (you guys, I could’ve never imagined that we’d have people tuning in from so many different countries). I’ll also tell you a bit about myself and how I got into F1 - this part turned into a little bit of a rant but I needed to clear my name and get it off my chest lol. Hope you enjoy getting to know me a little better. Thanks again to each and every one of you for tuning into each episode!

Episode 37 - We weren't quite ready to talk about it yet so we took a minute. By now, even the most casual fans have heard the news that Daniel Ricciardo will not be returning to the F1 grid in Austin. Yes, speculation was mounting and yes, the weekend of the Singapore Grand Prix left us many, many, MANY hints, but the announcement still hit like a tonne of bricks. Why? Because it was all so messy and because he's THE Danny Ric! MC and I will unpack our feelings during this episode in the hopes that it will provide us with the closure that RB failed to give us. But, as usual, we mix a lot of laughs into our dramatic takes.

Episode 36 - It was lights out this weekend at the F1 Night Race in Singapore. We've seen a safety car at every race here in the past so after eight straight races this season without a safety car, we thought Singapore would break that streak. Spoiler alert: it did not. While it wasn't as exciting as it usually is here, there were still a few key moments - Ferrari botching the qualies, Lando keeps his lead off the start, and DR3 has possibly decided the championship and even though we recorded this before his official announcement, we still had a bad case of the sads. Episode 35 - Baku was INSANE! MC and I will review all of the madness from the surprising qualies to the shocking podium. "HE DOESN'T EVEN GO HERE!!!" There is a lot to unpack here - rookies making waves, a wild starting grid, crazy overtakes, four retirements, an F2 podium. I know some of our listeners don't watch the races and just listen to our podcast for the highlights and if that's you, I BEG OF YOU - PLEASE WATCH THE RACE FIRST! It is well worth your time because these guys were not messing around this weekend. SO MUCH GREAT RACING! I cannot stress it enough. But if you don't want to watch the race, hey, listen to the episode anyways because we do our best to relive the ups, the downs, and the side-to-sides too....because we all know how close those walls are on these street tracks!

Episode 34 - HE WON IN MONACO, HE WINS IN MONZAAAAAAAAAA!!!! MAMMA MIA! C'EST INCROYABLE!! An amazing race to head into the finale of the European race season. Monza is, hands down, my favourite track on the calendar and this race exceeded my expectations. MC joins me as usual and we'll talk about everything from the miraculous win to Mclaren's unexpected story arch with all of the overtakes, penalties, retirements, race bans, and go-karting in between. Episode 32 - Summer break is officially over and we kicked off the second part of the season in Zandvoort. MC and I will chat about the surprises from the Dutch Grand Prix including Williams' woes and how Ferrari performed a MIRACLE?!?!

Episode 31 - Silly season is upon us...tbh, it actually started back in January when Sir Lewis Hamilton and Scuderia Ferrari  announced the big move. Carlos finally announced his choice but there are still so many unanswered questions! MC and I review the recent announcements, our wish lists, and our more realistic predictions for the remaining open seats. We’re waiting impatiently for not only these last four seats but also for the illustrious Adrian Newey to hopefully make an announcement that he’ll be returning to the pitlane, donning something other than navy blue. Episode 30 - We’re halfway through the mandatory summer break so here’s something to whet your appetite. Better late than never? A couple weeks ago, MC and I revisited the Belgian Grand Prix which led us into the break on a high….or a low, I guess, depending on who you’re cheering for. Crazy qualies, shocking strategic calls, a depressing DSQ, a disappointing DOTD - Spa gave us a lot to talk about. We also touch on some of the changes on the grid and as usual, we have thoughts! Lots and lots of thoughts.

Episode 29 - The race before last was at the Hungaroring and it gave us so many entertaining moments! Amazing start to the second half of the race season. Episode 28 - Being late with the upload seems to be a running theme lately but the last episode got a tonne of listens even with it being two weeks post-race! So here we are again, with the Silverstone recap. How were we NOT gonna post this EPIC race?! The rain in Spain fell mostly in BriTAIN! And it was GLORIOUS!!!! Aside from Leclerc's continued fall from grace that is....MC and I will talk about that, Sir Lewis Hamilton's amazing rise back to the top steps, and the rest of the insanity from the race three weeks ago...I didn't realize it was that long guys. Episode 27 - I know, I know. We've already had the British GP so the Austria recap is hella late but I couldn’t NOT post it. We’re getting a lot of listens on race recap episodes even weeks after the races so as long as you guys keep listening, we’ll keep posting….even if they’re late, sorry! Anyways, the Austrian Grand Prix was full of surprises! We’ll talk about everything from Ferrari’s yellow flag in the pit lane during Sprint Qualies all the way to the most shocking podium of the season. Episode 26 - It's late, I know. My apologies. We recorded a few days ago but my recovery from the flu was slow AF. The amazing MC and I have some news for you so hit play anyways ;) And we'll share our thoughts on the Spanish Grand Prix including the catfight at Ferrari and the return of a 7 (or 8 depending on who you ask) time world champion to the podium.

Episode 25 - The main European leg for this Formula One season is finally here and we kick it off in Spain. I’ll talk about recent wins and records here as well as why this might be one of the last times we see a Formula One race at this track. Episode 19 - We’re less than a day out from the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola, Italy so here’s your pre-race intro. It was cancelled last year due to the flooding in Italy so fans are excited to have the race back again. I’ll review the tragic history of the track and the changes made to the circuit to increase driver safety. As always, I’ll sprinkle in fun facts and veer off on some tangents like who has been downplaying their upgrade package this weekend and which driver lives closest to this track. Godere, race fans!

Episode 18 - Miami’s first sprint weekend wowed us and I have a new (hopefully, soon-to-be more regular) guest on this episode. Episode 16 - So Ferrari finally did their big reveal of the special livery for the Miami Grand Prix. The general consensus is that it failed to deliver (WHERE IS THE BLUE?!?!) but some fans probably saw it coming, likely the ones who weren’t overly excited like a select group of crazed fans (myself included). Let’s talk about how the livery change had probably been in the works for awhile considering the timely announcement of Ferrari’s new title sponsor, HP - and what a massive partnership it is. I'll also revisit all of the mixed signals their social media admins were giving us - or maybe it was classic me, overthinking LOL. Again, I’m not mad. Episode 15 - We know we won't see red Ferraris at the Miami Grand Prix next weekend but why’d they choose blue? Let’s get into the significance of this through a quick and interesting history lesson. Episode 14 - I have a new guest with me to review the craziness this season's first Formula One sprint weekend! Rick joins me for his premiere podcast experience and the Chinese Grand Prix gave us so much to talk about - from the rain in SQ3 to a new leader for half of the sprint to P2 in Q3 changing six times AFTER the checkered flag and finally, to the race where we saw three safety cars and three DNF’s. After being cancelled four years in a row, Shanghai came back with a vengeance and did NOT disappoint. What a race. Episode 12 - Let’s delve into what happens in the days leading up the race. It’s a four-day affair filled with things like media obligations, practice sessions, meetings, and qualifiers, all leading up the big podium celebration. I’ll delve into all of the mandatory events, meetings, and sessions for the teams and as always, go on my little tangents about what I love/hate and how changes to these regulations came about.
