Fort Life

It's with heavy heart that we are announcing, this episode will  be our last episode of Fort Life. When we embarked on the fort life journey our goal and vision for this show wasn't just a typical rewatch, but building a community where members of the armed services and their respective families along with family adjacents all had an outlet to come together, share stories and find their tribe on a global scale… Ambitious? Probably but that's what Sally and I wanted to do shoot for the stars and if we hit the moon, we would've been totally OK with that. While we have some beautiful loyal tribe members who we are so grateful for, this will be our last Fort Life episode. We will leave these episodes up and then ultimately release the video version on YouTube and the door is always open for us to continue… This show has been such a joy for both of us, both the original version of army wives and this fun rewatch podcast. WE love you all so much and are grateful for this beautiful commmunity.

Do we have a special treat for ya'll today! Kevin Shwedo was the Deputy Commanding Officer of the United States Army Training Center at Fort Jackson. He retired from the United States Army in 2011 with 32 years of service. During his military career, he served in various leadership and developmental positions within the Army. His awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, two awards of the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal and eight awards of the Meritorious Service Medal.
