One of DHFCW's American contingent, Havana's insight, passion and eloquence shone through in our latest discussion on topics linked to the Black Lives Matter movement. Police harassment of Black people, White people's guilt, and how the journey to equality will be driven forward in part by society's care-providers are all explored in detail in this episode. Black people are doing the work. People just need to listen.

Former Watford, Derby, Motherwell and current Dulwich Hamlet midfielder Lionel Ainsworth joins us for episode 5 of Home Disadvantage. He helps us answer audience questions; gives his thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement; speaks on the lack of Black, Asian coaches in the football league and recalls his experiences growing up as a mixed-race boy in the Midlands.

From leaving north London for the sleepy Somerset town of Yeovil, to spending a pre-season in India meditating for 11 hours a day and representing Jamaica in between, Nathan Smith's football career is more colourful than most. In this episode the Dulwich Hamlet defender joins us to discuss the Black Lives Matter movement, how black and white people use language when talking about race, and why - through it all - we need to remember that people are inherently good, decent human beings.

"When you book a holiday, I bet you don’t have to research the levels of racism in that country before you book?" In part two of our chat with Danny Mills, he tells us how being black has affected how he lives his life, and the decisions he makes.

Even before his teens, Danny Mills adapted his behaviour to protect himself in daily life. In part one of our chat with him, he tells us of his experiences of being racially profiled throughout his child and adult life.
