Forza Horizon 6 Revealed (It Was Originally In Germany) + Optimism & Concern

(Originally Recorded Oct 5) Before you say anything, yes, we are tripling down that Forza Horizon 6 was originally based in Germany, or at least not in Japan. Hear us out, though. On this episode, we spill the dirt on how we've been able to predict locations in the past, and also provide some very solid insight on what happened before the shift to Japan. As a teaser, we believe it would have happened around the time Mike Brown was fired (we have a very mean-spirited episode about that.Because, again, you don't sit on the goldmine that is a new Horizon game for this long unless it's a mistake.Regardless, we engage in some truly meaningful conversations and break down our thoughts, and being serious, how important a game this is for the entire series. It is effectively make-or-break, and the devs are clearly pulling out all the stops in what could be their last effort, if this does not go smoothly. Our overall sentiment is that, if this is not the best-selling racing game in Xbox's history (with a long-term player base that follows), it will absolutely be the end. Certainly, the sudden shift to Japan would signal it will do anything to appease players right now... because there is no other choice. Our segments Complaint Corner and F*** That Car go as well as expected, and we also extend on the previous episodes post mortem regarding the super-dead Forza Motorsport. We share some additional concerns about what failures Horizon 6 may contain from Motorsport. Aren gives us a reminder about Forza's constant reusing of cars with the exact same polygon counts because they don't rescan cars from game to game. We finish that segment reminding everyone Motorsport could come back if this Horizon has unprecedented success.InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Forza Horizon 6 Will Make-or-Break The Series - Analysis, Opinions, and Ramblings

(Originally recorded Jan 22)Finally, some more Forza news! Forza Horizon 6 was revealed a few months ago, and details continue to trickle in on what we can expect. We now have the majority of the important details, including a (very mid) trailer that was released,  showcasing cars and scenery in the most realistic version yet.It shouldn't be a secret to anyone though: this entire series is in big-time trouble right now. With the death of Forza Motorsport, and back-to-back flops with Horizon 4 and 5, this game absolutely needs to make an impact, or it will likely spell the end for the series. We take a thoughtful and critical dive into the current situation, and if we think the game has what it takes to be successful. Most critically, this game launches May 15, a bit ahead of GTA 6.A recap of the announcements:Tokyo City area is five times larger than FH5’s Guanajuato  New progression setup(!!!): start as a tourist, earn Wristbands, unlock Legend Island  More than 550 cars at launch Updated Forza Aero, window liveries, body kits, new R Class for track-focused carsAftermarket Cars found in the world that you can test drive or buy  New open-world social features: Car Meets, Drag Meets, Touge Battles, Time Attack Circuits  Customizable garages and an Estate you can build out in the open world  EventLab gets multiplayer building with Horizon CoLab  Better audio(!!!), bigger soundtrackInstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Forza Motorsport Is Dead - A Funeral, Autopsy and Initial Reactions

(Re-posting - Originally recorded July 8 2025)Well folks, Forza Motorsport is dead. On this episode, we’re holding the funeral, giving our initial reactions to the news around Turn 10's brutal 120+ person layoff, and what is the final nail in the coffin for the Motorsport side of the franchise. We talk about how we got here, and how so many fans saw this coming. We told you this would happen, by the way. This is part funeral, part autopsy. We break down the damage, what the loss of Motorsport means for longtime fans, but we also reminisce about the good old days, and how you should best remember this series at its peak, and in the early days, too. As you can expect from this show, we also get more than a few jabs in.We are sad to see the end be so unceremonious, but we figure we should at least give it some sort of a burial.InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Back From a Hiatus: Forza Coming to PlayStation, Solar Crown Review, FH6 in Germany!

The fellas are back, and Forza still stinks! We return from an unplanned hiatus with some important topics to analyze. Here’s a list of the main topics of discussion!Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown ReviewAren gives his initial feelings on a Forza alternative, TDU Solar Crown. This is a game we have discussed in the past, and if you are unfamilliar, it is worth listening to Aren contrast the game with Forza Horizon.Amazon Hires Former Forza Devs For New Competitor GameHere we go! Our prayers are answered in the form of Amazon hiring Forza executives and devs from the golden years to create a new Forza competitor available on all platforms, including PS5. Interestingly, it is story-based, and the head scriptwriter is the creator of the TV show ‘Skins’ (!). Jason seems to think this game could kill Forza as we know it. A great listen.Forza Coming to PlayStation 5Yup! You read that correctly. There have been credible reports that state Microsoft is exploring the port of Forza Horizon 5 to Sony's PlayStation 5. With a number of Microsoft exclusives recently ported to PS5, there is a growing belief Forza is next, and Halo may not be far behind either. Forza Horizon 6 Potentially In GermanyAs seen on our Instagram, we discuss the potential for FH6 to be based in Germany. This is way down the road, but is something we are confident enough to share, as we believe at the very least this option has been heavily explored by Turn 10 Studios. This Game Still StinksPart of the unplanned hiatus had to do with the lacklustre updates for Forza Horizon 5 and the monstrous flop that is the Forza Motorsport reboot. Simply put, there hasn't been much to talk about, and both games are not very good. However, over the past few weeks, there has been a welcome amount of news (thank god) and we think this momentum will build. Also, Aren is working at a Porsche dealership again - nature is healing! Enjoy all of these topics and more on this episode of the Forza World Podcast.InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Forza Motorsport Is Absolute Booty Cheeks & Fujimi Kaido Is Returning

SPECIAL EDITION EPISODE: The show you've all been waiting for - our most negative and critical yet! In classic Forza World style, we tell you the straight dope: the newest Forza Motorsport game is a hot piece of trash that was rushed along with no regard for the fans. We dive into details, explaining some of the hot topics in the community and major pain points, along with a few other issues that we haven't seen anyone mention (yet). We talk about the booty cheeks car upgrade system, the nauseating vinyl editor, the recycled  poo-poo car modelling that is older than the Obama administration, the braindead AI drivers, and even more. There are a very small number of positive takeaways. The first is the physics; they are nothing short of exceptional, and it is honestly a very real (and only) reason to give this game a try. The second is that we have some news we would like to share about Fujimi Kaido. We jump into it later in the show, it's something we have been excited to share with you all, and hopefully it's a breath of fresh air for a lot of frustrated Forza Fans. If you share our discontent with the launch, this is the show for you! No segments this week because it's a special edition show, and our longest episode ever.InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Forza Motorsport Preview, Premium Add-Ons Review, and More

In just one week, the new Forza Motorsport game will be launched, and we break down what we're hearing and seeing so far about the game. We dive into some concerns we have with the rollout and promotion, specifically issues with the Premium Edition and the Add-On version. Jason raises some very valid points on behalf of all disc owners who want premium, and Aren discusses the pointlessness of the early access incentive. Among many other concerns with the point of pre-ordering the game, we examine what you get with the Premium Edition: VIP, the car packs, bonus credits, and more all go under the microscope, so if you are looking to upgrade, listen to this first. Aside from Motorsport talk, we chat about the latest Forza Horizon 5 update, the release of the wonderful Crew Motorfest, and we even have a bonus Puma merch review, featuring some great stuff from Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW, along with even better reactions to close out the show. Complaint Corner is yet another valid yet spirited rant, and F*** That Car returns this week, only this time, it's for a specific engine (note that Jason is stupid and meant rubber Oil Pump Drive Belt, not rubber timing chain). Enjoy Episode 16 of the Forza World Podcast!InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Is Fujimi Kaido Returning? Forza Horizon Italian Cars + More

In our most organized, funniest, and purely Forza-focused episode yet, we tackle one of the biggest question marks about the upcoming Forza Motorsport game: will Fujimi Kaido be there? We've got an answer by breaking it down methodically and based on some interesting things we've come across.  Aren was feeling especially negative about a few things, taking the reigns on this week's Complaint Corner for the first time ever about the Italian Cars that were recently added to Horizon 5 and some of the suspect car choices, and even the manufacturer wheel choices. From there, Jason gets particularly riled up about the lack of additional manufacturer wheel choices available for each car, and also the lack of customization options available in the Paint Booth. No F*** That Car this week due to the unusual level of quality (baseless) rants and great points! We round out this episode with arguably our funniest moment yet regarding a very recent giveaway. If you're new to the show, this is a great episode to start with, and if this isn't your first rodeo, buckle up - Episode 15 is our best yet.  InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Is Forza Good Again Because Someone Quit? Barbie, IMSA Recap

Get out the tin foil hats, because we have some baseless conspiracy theories for you! Forza Horizon has had a wild hot streak of great updates, and it almost perfectly coincides with the former Playground Games Creative Director leaving the company. Do we have any evidence there's a connection? Nope. Does it line up? Yep, it lines up way too well. Regardless, we still touch on the hottest topic in Forza right now, the Barbie Movie partnership and the corresponding giveaways and heavier-than-expected attention it's getting from official accounts. Jason makes an excellent point about the negatives that come with the Barbie partnership, and it might not be a point you have considered. We also recap yet another incredible year watching IMSA at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (thank you Sam Fellows🐐), we talk Koenigsegg Gemera, and Jason has a spirited Complaint Corner. For the F*** that car segment, it's a car that has only existed a couple of days, and it's a Lamborghini V12. You don't want to miss this heater of an episode - enjoy!22:13 Forza Creative Director Quits... Rally Adventure, Forza Creative Director Leaves Playground

(Note this episode originally aired in February) Hello and welcome to Episode 13! The guys dive into the Rally Adventure expansion before its complete reveal, and to no one's shock, Jason nails the prediction (mid). Still, it could have been worse, and the fellas give a thoughtful analysis. Also, get your tin foil hats on! Forza Horizon creative director Mike Brown, along with a few other employees working in key areas, have left Playground games. Could this be the start of noticeable changes and improvements to some areas we've been complaining about? We give a full, baseless guess on what it could mean (further reading here).  One cool idea could be the introduction of customizable race suits, a suggestion from one of our followers! Moving on, Jason has some complaints about people who badmouth German cars and their reliability, we talk NASCAR's Garage 56 entry into Le Mans and brief F1 season predictions. For F*** that car, Aren has a brand new, small, stupid-looking truck; you may have forgotten it even exists. All this and more in our February edition of the Forza World Podcast! InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

New Forza Motorsport Details and News + Drunk Aren

On this episode, Aren is absolutely waffled from a few girly drinks. We discuss the upcoming Forza Motorsport reboot game that has had a lot of people talking lately after its lacklustre Bethesda event. We dissect the event, and decide if there were a lot of details to be positive about, or if there were too few to be confident. We unpacked every single new detail, and circled back to points that we already knew about the game. We also hinted about a major track that we know is returning that we will reveal sometime in the spring. Aside from the latest Forza Motorsport news, we briefly talk Forza Horizon, and the new Japanese car pack that was released, the 24 Hours of Daytona, Jason's frustrations with fast food chefs, the problem with the Toyota Prius, and more. We also have some words to say about Ken Block, someone that we will forever be indebted to as motorsport enthusiasts. Enjoy some laughs, some frustrations, some strong words, and some heartfelt ones too on this 3AM edition of the Forza World Podcast.InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Forza Horizon Merchandise Review & General Nonsense

On this episode, the fellas are crushing red wine and give a high energy review of Jason's newly arrived Forza Horizon 5 branded merchandise: a hoodie, a sparkly t-shirt, a license plate frame, and a 30oz tumbler. Valuable and genuine consumer advice is rare around here, but they definitely provide some useful insight to those thinking of jumping on any of those items. The talk goes further on this episode, discussing past merch (Forza Motorsport 3 shoes... Google those ASAP) as well as the potential for what should happen in the future with Forza merch. They talk about what's new in the world of Forza and discuss some of the holiday activities they had, what's broken with in-game gifting, why in the heck you can't buy any Forza Motorsport games right now, and more.  Jason brings the heat in a searing, nonsensical Complaint Corner versus loose glitter, and Aren lets loose on the Hummer H2 in this week's F*** That Car. Enjoy one of our best episodes yet in Episode 11!InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

    Review: Forza Horizon Anniversary Celebration

A special edition of the podcast this we dive into the new Forza Horizon Celebration update. It's been 10 years since the original Forza Horizon dropped, and Playground Games is celebrating by bringing back songs from old games, special reward cars and challenges, stories, and more. Each week is an alternating theme, from Forza Horizon games 1 through 4, featuring a remaster of their respective intro screen. We'll be doing another special edition show dedicated to the 10 year anniversary of Horizon 1 and how great that game was, but for now, we give our thoughts on the Celebration update. Lots of info to take in!InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

The Pagani Utopia is Ugly and McDonald's Stinks

On this episode, we switch things up a bit and start the show off with some news, with some of the biggest being the new car that Pagani revealed: the Utopia. Even as big Pagani fans, we were less than impressed, and we had some other new vehicles to discuss that could be candidates to come to Forza eventually. To be fair, it's pretty odd looking. Not much Forza talk on this episode; in the world of Forza Horizon, there's obviously some fun things happening with the 10th anniversary celebrations going on within Forza Horizon 5, and we've got that broken down as a dedicated episode (Episode 9). Jason has a meltdown on this weeks' complaint corner about a fast food restaurant.  For F*** That Car, Aren has a bone to pick with a very popular Mercedes. Don't miss another episode of nonsense and complaining, the Forza World Podcast!InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

    Forza Horizon Needs Better Characters

Can you name a character from Forza Horizon 3? What about 4 or Forza Horizon 5? We sure as heck couldn't, and that was a big talking point on this edition of the Forza World Podcast. We're back after a little summer break, and we had some Forza topics to discuss, and a ton of car news to cover, including new cars from Koenigsegg, Bentley, McLaren, Bugatti, Hennessey, Dodge, Honda, and more, as well a new Ford engine, and much more. The boys also have some interesting Forza news too: some personalities from Donut Media (Past Gas Podcast) will be featured at some point in Forza Horizon 5. This is pretty significant, because to our knowledge, this will mark the first time that real public figures will be featured in a Horizon game, and be seen as well. All this and more on episode 8!InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels Review

Emergency mid-week podcast! Episode 7 is a short show dedicated exclusively to reviewing the newly released Hot Wheels Expansion pack for Forza Horizon 5, and oh boy, do we ever have some strong feelings about it. Jason and Aren give a run down of their first impressions and score the pack out of 100. Whether you're thinking of buying it and want an opinion, or if you just want to hear our thoughts, give this special review episode a listen and see what we have to say!InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTokInstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

    Jeep Slander and IMSA Recap

On episode 6 of the Forza World Podcast, we recap our insane race weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and yet another baffling Porsche Cars & Coffee! A special thank you goes out to IMSA, CTMP, and especially the 🐐 Sam Fellows for hooking us up - we can't wait to do more with the track in the coming months.  We also sat in a 2 million-dollar Porsche Carrera, somehow. At 20:50, we get into the Forza talk about this upcoming Forza Horizon Hot Wheels pack. The boys had a few issues with the overall rollout of the pack itself, and how long it took for it to come out after the announcement. Note that the pack had not been released at the time of recording, so a full review episode will be coming next! Jason's Complaint Corner features transport trucks (lorries) blocking passing lanes, and Jason's pick for F*** That Car was the disgusting Jeep Patriot. The podcast closes with an all-time rant and some top-tier Jeep Slander - you won't want to miss it! All that and more on this episode of the Forza World Podcast.InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

IMSA Weekend Preview and Road Construction

In episode 5 of the Forza World Podcast, we preview our time at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park at the IMSA Chevrolet Grand Prix! Jason recaps his time in Montreal at the F1 GP, and the boys compare the two experiences from a fan perspective. In Forza news, Aren airs some issues with the new turn-in response changes that may have flown under the radar for most people, effectively ruining some types of cars as far as drivability goes. Andrew gives some quick updates on his car's smoking problem. To no one's surprise,  the trio all have separate issues with their vehicles just days prior to the race weekend. There is considerably less science talk this week, and as we await the release of the Hot Wheels car pack, not much Forza news to discuss for at least a few more days. Complaint Corner for this week is construction work not being done during the middle of the day, on a weekday, in perfect weather. F*** That Car is Andrews's inaugural pick, and he went with the lovely Hyundai Veloster.  The audio quality is also not pure poverty this week, so enjoy!   InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

  18. 5

    Smart Cars Stink

On episode 4 of the Forza World Podcast, we introduce the third member of the show, Andrew! He gives us an introduction of himself and his recent car mods, as well as some sunburn and golf talk. The trio discuss the massive news in the Forza universe with the announcement of the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels Expansion, as well as new details and media for the Forza Motorsport reboot. There is also some comparison of the two trailers for these announcements, and how different the approach is between Playground Games and Turn 10. We get into a recap of some motorsport and F1 news. The boys also have some science talk (yes, actual facts!) about synthetic fuels and how it may impact the world of cars and motorsport. Complaint Corner for this week is Pineapple on Pizza, and F*** That Car is none other than the Smart Car and... let's just say we were less than kind to it and the first hand owners.Apologies for the audio quality this week!InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

Forza Horizon Radio Stations, Limited Editions, and Merch

On this episode, the fellas get into the Forza Horizon radio stations, and why they aren't nearly as good as they used to be. Aren discusses the exhaust note on the newly added GT3. We also reminisce about Limited Collector's Editions of Forza, and how hard it is to find official merchandise. Jason's complaint corner is caffeine induced, as usual, and transitions into some updates on LMDh and some new entries. He also learns the correct pronunciation of Peugeot. We quickly recap Ferrari's bumbling performance in Monaco with zero accuracy, and the future of the Monaco Grand Prix. Our F*** That Car segment is especially critical towards Nissan's and rounds out the rest of the show. Enjoy Episode 3 of the Forza World Podcast!InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

  20. 3

    Squirrels, Beers, and PT Cruisers

On this episode, the boys get off-topic immediately with some complaints about squirrels (they stink). We recap our time at Porsche of London Cars & Coffee, which had some incredible variety. The F8 Tributo is now available for unlock in Forza Horizon 5, but Aren has a very fair bone to pick as far as the limited and lame colour options available in-game. This leads to some interesting discussion about what limitations might exist for the developers, as well as some limitations and quirks about Ferrari. We chat about the exciting news that Lamborghini is entering the LMDh class in FIA WEC and IMSA and what it means for the sport. We finish the show talking about Jason's back sweat. Kick back, relax, and enjoy episode 2 of the Forza World Podcast. InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

    Fortnite Ruined Forza Horizon 5

It's our first episode! Apologies in advance for the audio quality on this one. We give you a quick intro on how things started for Forza World, what things used to look like on Forza-Instagram 10 years ago, and why now was the time to start this show. Jason has several complaints about all these Hyundai commercials straight out of the gate. Aren wastes no time and makes a case for why Fortnite ruined Forza Horizon 5. We also get into some Miami GP talk, ridiculous gas prices (our condolences if you're in Europe), and a bit of beer talk too. The boys also announce some F1 and motorsport events they'll be attending in the summer.  All this, plus tons of nonsense on the first-ever episode of the Forza World Podcast.InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok

    Welcome to Forza World

It only took us 10 years, but we're excited to finally share our podcast with you. It's going to be a weekly show, where we discuss all things Forza Horizon, Formula 1, motorsport, and cars in general. We've got some fun segments planned, lots of video content, and we'll be attending events like the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal and the IMSA Chevrolet Grand Prix at Mosport. Perhaps most importantly, you'll be getting our unfiltered, authentic, and genuine reactions. And yep - it'll probably get vulgar. We can't wait to show you what we have planned!- Jason and Aren InstagramFacebookTwitterTikTok
