FOUR YOU Series

by JAYMAK

Brisbane’s ‘Ultimate Party Conductor’ JAYMAK has been a dominant DJ figure in both local and domestic scenes over the last 10 years. A JAYMAK set is ENERGY. To unite the crowd into an absolute rager. No genre is off limits. It’s his unique style of open-format and scratching that’s helped him build an impressive list of residencies, including: The Met main stage, Prohibition, Kenjin and YOT Club Brisbane and Gold Coast. JAYMAK also specialises in more niche showcase nights at Sunday Service (Ling Ling’s) and Su Casa. There’s no stage too big or too small. An exciting feature of JAYMAK’s performances is the use of his own mashups and edits. Over eight years he has created over 1,000 mashups and edits which gives audiences tunes they’ve heard before in a way they’ve NEVER heard it before. His ability to create mashups and edits was recognised early on – in 2015 – becoming the weekly mashup creator for Nova 106.9’s radio show. His edits are now enjoyed by thousands around the world via

Episodes

  1. Big Catzz x Zombie (JAYMAK Edit) - Rustie & POSTCARD x Blasterjaxx, Bombs Away & Moji

It's been a minute! I wasn't sure if this was worth posting but I made a commitment (to myself) earlier in the year to post what I make, whether I think it's up to scratch or not. I keep circling back to this so have at it!

  2. Heartbreak Anniversary x No Air (JAYMAK Edit) - Giveon x Jordin Sparks

Slowed Jordin waaayy down, layered over Giveon. I'll be singing this (badly) in the car.

  3. Boston x Stick Season (JAYMAK Edit) - Stella Lefty x Noah Kahan & MC4D

Recently came across Stella's tune and couldn't help but notice part of her hook sounded similar to 'Stick Season'. I've loved MC4D's remix of Stick Season for a while so decided to blend to the two together! EDIT: 🤦‍♂️ turns out the similar melody is the reason the whole song came to be, so…

  4. Some Nights x Whistle (JAYMAK Edit) - Fun. x Flo-Rida

PITCHED UP FOR YOU KNOW WHY Every time I tied to put this down I kept picking it back up. It's the most bizarre combo but I like it - maybe someone else might too.

  5. American Girls x Save The World (JAYMAK Edit) - Harry Styles & TWINSICK x Swedish House Mafia

Was very torn between vocals to use with this instrumental but ultimately landed on SHM. Enjoy :)

  6. How Far We've Come x The Great Divide (JAYMAK Edit) - Matchbox Twenty x Noah Kahan & LEONDIS

Been sitting on this vocal for a while, searching for the right instrumental. I think I found it - all credit to Leondis and the other artists, respectively.

  7. Destiny x The Kill (JAYMAK Edit) - Alesso & SACHA x AVELLO x 30 Seconds To Mars

Just something small I kept coming back to over the weekend - thought it was fun.

Adding to the long list of TWINSICK instrumentals I've made edits with - the boys know what they're doing!

  9. Lay Down x The Future (JAYMAK Edit) - Touch Sensitive x Motez

Something for the YOT Club sets, enjoy!

  10. It Wasn't Me x Scar (JAYMAK Edit) - Shaggy x Missy Higgins

Look weird to you too? Same. But with some playing around, this might just be a party set weapon to keep in the vault.

  11. Not Giving In (JAYMAK Edit)

The possibilities with Shrine seem endless. I previously had a mashup with the Flume remix of 'Tennis Court' with it but it was reported. Over the years I've made several others. This is the latest. Pitched up +1 semitone for copyright. Please LABEL'S, I share this for no monetary or personal…

  12. Locked Out Of Heaven x Shine (JAYMAK Edit) - Bruno Mars x Elephante

I've worked on so many edits recently but copyright is working even harder. I'm hoping this one sneaks through. I hope you enjoy if you get a listen :)

  13. Tambourine x Tap In (JAYMAK Edit) - Eve & Swizz Beatz x Saweetie

Been a minute! Enjoy this blend :)

  14. In The Ayer x Bounce (JAYMAK Edit) - Flo Rida & Will.I.Am x Timbaland x Decemberkid & EGNEVER

Love the remix Decemberkid and EGNEVER did for Bounce, had to make an edit. Enjoy!

  15. Rude x Without You (Hold Me, Pt 2) (JAYMAK Edit) - MAGIC! x Youth In Circles

Always loved the big future bass drops and this track has exactly that. Layered in MAGIC!'s vocal 'Rude' and we have this final product. Enjoy!

  16. Actin' Tough x Act Up (JAYMAK Wordplay & Toneplay Edit) PITCHED

Pitched up +2 semitones + voice overs intro to get past copyright! Dean is about to have his breakout moment and I couldn't be happier for him, the bloke deserves it. Here's something I whipped together for sets in the months ahead. No doubt there will be a lot of requests for his track! PS: had…

Whethan continues to serve up heat, all I can do is try provide some variation that adds to the fun.

  18. iloveitiloveitiloveit x Hot Air Balloon (JAYMAK Edit) - Bella Kay x Don Diablo

I've been seeing this Bella Kay song everywhere. Here's something I put together with a bit more energy.

  19. Slow Motion x Who's Gonna Love You Tonight (JAYMAK Edit) - Trey Songz x Snakehips

I've been looking through some instrumentals lately and always came back to this Snakehips track. Tried it with a few vocals until I came across 'Slow Motion'. The rest is history. Enjoy! Pitched up +1 semitone for copyright.

  20. Friends x Better (JAYMAK Edit) - E^ST x Sam Feldt

E^ST has long been a favourite of mine - always a joy when she pops up in a shuffle of my Spotify 'Liked Tracks'. Came up with this edit idea, hope you enjoy it :)

Pitched and twisted to sneak past copyright!

  25. Work x Pretty Gyal (JAYMAK Edit) - Rihanna & Drake x COTERIE

A little story, my first job out of university many years ago was A&R at Sony Music Australia. I came across this band called 'The Fisher Boys', loved their sound and look, and eventually I pitched them to my boss for possible signing. Boss declined. Since then, the band has changed their name to...

  26. Crank That x Flex It (JAYMAK Edit) - Soulja Boy, MPH & Æ

A different take on the 'Crank That' we all know. Scrunch up ya bass face! Pitch up +1 semitone for copyright.

  27. Uncle Kracker - Drift Away (JAYMAK Edit)

I'm definitely having fun making Uncle Kracker edits at the moment. For 'Drift Away' I wanted to try do something more 'rock' and upbeat. Came across a duo called TOWNS a while back and love their song 'Safe To Say'. Put the Drift Away vocals over the top and it fit nicely. Here's the final product!

  28. No Scrubs x You Gotta Be (JAYMAK Edit) - TLC x Des'ree

  30. Smile x She Looks So Perfect (JAYMAK Edit) - Uncle Kracker x 5 Seconds Of Summer

I know what you're thinking... surely this sucks. And yeah it might to some. But I thought this worked too well. And don't mind be bumping this in the car on the way to work either. :)

  31. Cheap Thrills x Waiting All Night (JAYMAK Edit) - Sia & Sean Paul x Rudimental

Absolutely no need for this. It's not very good either. But it's something fun for me to play in the car - you can have it too 😂

Sun Goes Down used to be a staple track in all my DJ sets. I'm bring it back for this edit!

  33. Higher Love x Higher Ground (JAYMAK Orchestral Edit) - James Vincent McMorrow x ODESZA

I love Odesza and will make edits with their music always. James' vocal of Higher Love is also beautiful. Combined with the reprise of 'Higher Ground', we have this. Enjoy :)

  34. Dreamscape x I RUN (JAYMAK Edit) - 009 Sound System x HAVEN.

I came across Dreamscape again recently when trawling for music and was hit with an immense wave of nostalgia. I have fond memories of the track being behind every compilation video on YouTube growing up. I reconstructed the song and made an edit. Might like it, might hate it. Let me know if DJs...

  35. Collard Greens x Section (JAYMAK Edit) - Schoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar x LYNY

Absolutely love LYNY's track 'Section' and have imagined a hip hop vocal over the top for a while. Finally found the right fit! Enjoy

  36. JAYMAK Edit Pack 2026 Vol. 1 (60+ EDITS, FREE DOWNLOAD)

I've been making too many things this year that if I don't post them now, they'll sit in a folder. Have at it! TRACKLIST: https://pastebin.com/vTp3kcB2 The tracklist was too long to share, lol.

  37. Zombie x Boulevard of Broken Dreams (JAYMAK Edit) - The Cranberries x Green Day

Something entirely different - maybe good maybe shiiiiyet. Everything pitched up for copyright.

  38. Love Lockdown x Secret ID (JAYMAK Edit) - Kanye West x Moojo & Capo

Recently exploring the new Rivoli DJ pool because I'm being served nothing short of 10 ads a day. Came across this track and wanted to make an edit. Has a nice breakdown section into the main drop which seemed to work well with 'Love Lockdown'. Free download for the DJs

  39. Sunlight x In Your Heart (JAYMAK Edit) - The Magician x Kobaien & Sound of Bam

Love the vocal from Sunlight and it's been a while since I made an afro edit. Free download for the DJ's. There's an epic trumpet build up in the second breakdown too, have a listen!

  40. Sun Goes Down x No Place (JAYMAK Edit) - Robin Schulz x RÜFÜS DU SOL

Finally got my hands on this vocal. Takes me back to some of the golden days DJing at Our Place. Hope you enjoy :)

Nothing to report on this one really - just something I finished today that I felt like sharing :)

  47. We'll Be Coming Back x Save My Love (JAYMAK Edit) - Calvin Harris, Marshmello, AVAION, Ligotti

Calvin has enough songs to make edits for daysssss

  48. Lean On x When I'm Gone (JAYMAK Edit) - DJ Snake, Major Lazer, MØ, PEEKABOO

Can't believe 'Lean On' turns 11 years old in March this year! It's a track that still gets the crowd singing and probably will for many years to come. Enjoy this little edit with a bass producer I really enjoy, PEEKABOO.

  49. Everglow x Paradise (JAYMAK Edit) - Coldplay

I've always loved Coldplay and 'Everglow' carries sentimental value to me. The band is top of my list of live shows I need to see. In the meantime, I'll just be making Coldplay edits :) The live concert intro is related to a beautiful recording of Everglow on YouTube + helps to bypass copyright....

  50. You're Beautiful x Light Surrounding You (JAYMAK Edit) - James Blunt x Evermore

Always been a big Evermore fan, and you can't deny the nostalgia of James Blunt's instrumental here. It's fun to make edits that aren't so 'clubby'. Something a bit different - enjoy :)
